EARLY in the morn he had awoken, much earlier than anyone would, in fact, and upon hearing of rumours that Chrom had returned to this city. Unfortunate as it was for him to be taken yet again, he rose to do what must be done. Outside the man’s apartment room he had made his attempts to knock, of course. Yet given the lack of a response and seeing as the door was unlocked for whatever reason he had allowed himself in as quietly as possible. While the Exalt continued to sleep soundly in his room he busied himself with cooking. Bacon and eggs, pancakes, and three sausages for him to consume.
Moments later he takes the plate in hand, making his way into the man’s room to deliver the food, stopping a short distance from where he lays. Already partially awake, from how it seemed. Not even thinking of the fact that his presence may serve as a bewilderment, in his manner of approach.
“Ah, you’re awake. Breakfast is served, Milord.” Presenting him with the plate full of food, only to pause in thought. “Or shall I bring this to the dining table for you to consume? I thought breakfast in bed might be to your liking.”

Rest had been the furthest thing from his mind upon awaking in such a place. The idea itself was not so strange when he was aware of the Outrealms, yet they allowed safe passage back to his own world. And it was clear from the start that escape would be no easy feat, if possible at all, yet he knows that defeatist attitude wouldn’t do himself or anyone else any good. That determined spirit had led him across this unusual city in search of comrades, for surely he wasn’t the only one among them to be trapped here. However, his search had been fruitless and he was forced to retire for the night, at dawn he would resume his task.
Little did he think that some of his companions might find their way to him, and perhaps it was not so surprising to wake the next morning to see the ever trusty Knight. Still, shock was evident as he was welcomed with more than enough food to feed two people.
“Frederick? How did you-” pausing to eye the large plate of cooked meat and pancakes. As usual he’d gone a little overboard. Despite how ridiculous this whole situation was he couldn’t help but laugh it off, of course Frederick of all people would be able to locate him. “You never tire do you? There are few rulers as blessed as I am...really though you needn’t have gone so far,” raising from the bed as he really wasn’t the sort to lounge about. “The dinner table would be best, and I’d have you share this with me and perhaps explain the situation a little better.”
