     And here we see the Shield start to get grumpy as his book is snatched away. He was going to try and grab for it, but blinked when he saw Noctis was already gone. Hearing his voice, he raised an eyebrow and stood up from where he was sitting, turning to look. He didn’t quite notice the feline features just yet, but give him a second. “Noct if you wanted to see it you could’ve asked.”

Noctis liked having Gladio close to him, especially after one of his many nightmares that he tends to get. ❝ I hope you’re right Gladio. ❞ He relaxed more when his arm was given another squeeze. ❝ I’m glad you’re here with me Gladio. You better not go anywhere. ❞ His smile widened when he knew Gladio wouldn’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

↯ ℘ ↯  (Jam it Jim he’s bready already) ❛It–it’s not that I don’t!❜ That did not mean he was not startled by it so suddenly, being picked up was never really something that has happened to him before even in terms of being knocked out cold on the ground. Through, a part of him was glad that he did not have to hobble himself back, likely arriving back hours later to an absolutely freaking out Noctis and Ignis.

   “  group of iron giants keep wanderin’ a bit too close to lestallum for comfort. quick in and out job.  ”

   “  whatever helps you sleep at night, big guy. there’s a hunt come up, need extra hands. y’in ?  ”

   “  he says, as he wakes up with a grunt. don’t worry, you’re secret’s safe with me.  ”

    “  you snore any louder the daemons are gonna come runnin’.  ”
