      a delicate eyebrow raised at the hybrid, far from the usual prowling grounds even in human form ( not that the vet would do anything about it, the raptors weren’t her responsibility ). something akin to impressed in her inflection, slender hand curled into fist and pressed against her hip as she takes the girl in. it caused her unending amusement to hear the handlers and scientists freak out every time one of them got out and had a wander around the park. zia couldn’t blame them, must get boring being couped up all the time.

It felt GOOD to be in human form, to not be stared at like a zebra (she'd heard Owen talk about them). People who had no experience with her had no idea it was her. And it made sneaking around far easier. But now she froze as one word circled her mind. Busted.

“ Snuck out, ” she said quietly, like a child caught sneaking a cookie.

He was here. He was here. Delta couldn't believe it, couldn't wrap her head around the scent when it had hit her. It was Owen. She wasn't sure if she was mad or simply overjoyed at the familiarity. She moved as fast as she could towards him before stopping and letting herself change form to human.

She stepped out from the trees and swallowed hard. "Owen?" Dad, was what she wanted to say. But she couldn't.

The island was about to erupt, and then that would be it. They all knew it, instinctually if nothing else. So what was Owen doing here? Didn’t he know? Or was he there to save them?

he knew he was being RIDICULOUS -- they were at this crazy cool park with actual dinosaurs, but all sean could think about was his copy of the mysterious island in his bag in the hotel. trying to focus on what they were doing, on this day ahead of them, he pulled himself to the present, glancing at his cousin (although to be fair, if zach had his phone, sean should be able to have his book). 

“ we should do something. ” his eyes wandered to the lady Claire had left to babysit them. which was obnoxious as hell.  they were basically adults, they hardly needed to be watched like children. wetting his lips, sean nudged zach lightly, his eyes gleaming. “ what do you say we ditch her? ” he didn’t feel guilty about it -- especially since if he hadn’t said it first, zach would have. 

Echo really didn’t regret hitting the boy who had hurt Charlie. After all, he deserved it and even if he hadn’t ,Charlie was her little sister. It was her job. But that also meant Owen had had to come get her from school. She knew that couldn’t have been something he had been looking forward to that day.

But what was she supposed to do?

As she buckled her seat belt, she sighed before asking, “Are you mad?”

chaos was in the park, and even though blue was supposed to stay in the paddock, she didn’t. how could she? people were dying out there and she, unlike many, could do something about it. she wanted to HELP. besides, she was equipped to - unlike many others. 

owen would be pissed if he found her out though, she knew that well enough. he’d be beyond angry that she had put herself in danger. but there was an entirely different form of danger waiting for her, as she was about to discover. blue and her sisters had been given watches, just like everyone else -- but it was more to blend in. they would never time out, that was what she had thought anyways.

how could a genetically engineered raptor-human hybrid who wasn’t supposed to even EXIST have a soul mate? yet, it seemed the case when her blue eyes landed on a boy with dark hair, and deep soulful eyes that instantly struck her. then her watch beeped and she looked at it, brows furrowing. 

no way. there was NO WAY this was happening. her eyes went back to the boy with a quizzical expression as she tried to make some kind of sense of the situation. “ crazy weird, ” she said finally, her voice breathy and stunned. “ the last thing I expected honestly. ”

the coffee in his hands was warm, though not unwelcome. Zach made his way through the lobby, eager to get to Claire and get to work. Things were a mess and it was quickly becoming a maddening race to save these dinosaurs. The volcano wasn't waiting, it was going to erupt.

But in his rush, he didn’t even SEE the girl in front of him. As a result, he ran into her and one of the coffees basically blew up, spilling all over both their fronts. “Fuck,” he muttered, before quickly turning his gaze to her. “I’m sorry.”

A small dinosaur had escaped the enclosure and Tim was one of the handlers selected to retrieve it. This got much more difficult when the arrived and it was made clear that the dinosaur had fallen into the water. Not knowing if said water was currently occupied by anything (specifically anything that ate smaller dinosaurs), Tim felt his heart leap into his throat. 

“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” he growled, running as if to jump in himself.

After going to the center of the earth with Trevor, the only person he told everything to was Zach -- not trusting anyone else to believe him

Was spending the summer with his cousins, so he went to Jurassic World with Zach and Gray

"Dad." Blue leaned in the doorway of his room, thumbs hooked in her belt loops. "So... this... Claire. Is she someone special?" Oh god, she felt like she should be so much more adjusted to the idea but... someone joining their little family? Their sacred circle? The idea had never been easy for her to comprehend.

It was late and Blue... well, she had to admit that she was in an odd mood. The unsure feeling in her chest was overwhelming, and it was about everything. But mostly about the idea of things changing. She hated change.

Tim had known Maisie’s family, including her mother. Well, the woman she had been cloned from he supposed, but it was likely that Maisie preferred to think of her as her mother, so he would refer to her that way unless he was told to do otherwise. 

Now he sat with her on the floor of Owen’s trailer. He looked at her slowly before saying, “Do you want some hot chocolate, Maisie? I’m sure I can find my way around enough to find them.”

Echo pulled her face into a grimace as she thought about it. “No…. I like this better.”

       “Whatever it is — I didn’t do it.” Well, maybe she did, depending on what said thing is.

Blue rolled her eyes as she sat next to her sister. "You are joking right? Cuz we both know you did it." She was half teasing, but how could she resist?
