It's sickening that there are people out there that really think a state of emergency is necessary because of the "illegal and low down criminal immigrants crisis" is a state of emergency. But homeless people aren't. Or the ever increasing number of veterans committing suicide or suffering from PTSD. Or people having to choose between food on the table and if they can afford life saving medications. The choice of not going to college and ending up working for a shitty minimum wage job versus going to college, getting into crushing debt to have a decent paying job but having to live at home crisis.

But fuck yeah, we need a scapegoat for our woes and what better than a "brown" immigrant. Coming and stealing the shit ass jobs we don't want. The nerve!
