Having big mood swings is still so trippy. It’s been years of this and ive learned to manage them well. But sometimes I do find myself, I guess, observing my moods and emotions and kind of feeling like I’m holding onto a plank of wood in open water. And I can’t swim! But it feels good bc I love seawater and the touch of the sun on my back and even tho it’s miserable, to be drowning, the sensation of it is kind of nice and stunning and cool. Idk! I always feel this during Lent. My life is going to change. It’s like that Angel Olsen lyrics “oh my life is gonna change oh my life is gonna change oh my life is gonna change oh my life is gonna change.” I remember writing these posts from a web browser on a desktop computer. It was 2012 and I’d experienced drowning at least twice. I don’t know how to swim. But I still hadn’t experienced my mood disorder. I don’t think my life will change. But my heart will. It always does during Easter, at least a little. Oh to change the heart of a woman….
