Sims And Some Writing

Hi! If you’re reading this, clearly you’re wondering what my page is all about. So, welcome, curious visitor! 

What will you see on my page? Some Sims 2 reblogs…actually, probably a lot of Sims 2 reblogs. The occasional promo post for my fics, posts/reblogs about writing, and the occasional screenshot from either The Sims 2 or The Sims 4 out of sheer whimsy.

I’ve been Simming since the beginning with The Sims 1 back with its release waaaaay back in 2000. My main game has been The Sims 2 since its release, and – while not the most popular in the fandom – I do hold a special fondness for Pleasantview and its soap opera vibes.

I also do a little bit of fanfiction writing for The Sims. My mutuals will concur, I have zero chill about it. Canon compliant, canon divergent, or something that feels like an Uberhood is forming before our eyes… Yes, it’s likely explored it in fics. So, it has to be said. I don't know which Sim makes me scratch my head at them in confusion more: Jason Greenman or Don Lothario.

With Jason, we already know he's a bit off-beat mainly because he married a PlantSim. I can forgive that easily. He's also a Knowledge Sim, thus a touch unhinged. But seriously... he's got a death wish:

Actively trying to get electrocuted, eating spoiled food.

Even Sandra Roth knows something's off with this guy.

And then, there's Don. It's not the womanizing that gets me.

And he has a maid to clean up this shit!

This was the greatest offense. At Albany and Goneril Capp's house visiting, and instead of foraging in their (to be fair, kinda bare) fridge, he opted for this.

They have a small child in diapers in that house, Don!

Why must you do this to you immune system like that?!
