Sometimes Nothing Is Everything

Some days I can't tell if im sad, angry or empty.

You see you died and way too soon at that.

You should have been there so see me graduate.

To hold my hand on my wedding day.

To meet your future great grandchild.

All these things I just assumed you'd be there for.

You see you where one of my heros.

And now you're gone.

You died before I even started my future, but oh proud I think you would be of me. Or at least how proud I hope you would be of me.

Because you see before you died I was working and too "busy" all the time.

You went to the hospital on a Saturday morning and by Saturday night you were unconscious. And by Sunday you had gone home to be with angles.

To be honest this has been the hardest thing ever and to say I didn't cry daily would be a lie.
