i put kira and odo talking in the poem post as an example of things the dominion "wouldn't get" as there is kind of a persistent narrative that kira is the thing holding odo back from joining them, and the dominion is aware of that. so they try to impersonate her that time and in general have an Idea of her, she's been to the link etc
and i think it would be fun to have one more episode focused on this SPECIFICALLY. female founder x kira yuribait. so the founders are like "we don't understand.... what is the appeal of this solid??? that he throws the link away for her???" and the female founder impersonates odo. and en episode like "his way" happens, but it's not odo, it's the changeling posing as odo.
the only thing is that it would have to be a pretty upsetting episode for kira. i think if it happened to for example dax, the changeling would be like "i get it now.... love.... could i maybe feel it too? but you'd never love Me..." and jadzia would realize but she'd be like. "i see you....." and they'd make out. i mean she'd be mad probably but after she found the real worf she'd visit the changeling in the cell and listen to her teary eyed confession of regret for lying and she'd recognize how it feels like for people to never love the Real You, just what you're Capable Of Being... (because she feels like this about being joined sometimes....) and they'd make out sloppy style before she sets the founder free
but kira would be like damn you, lying pile of jello! and kick the founder down the stairs
