Something that confuses me abt bloodline abilities is how they're inherited tbh. Like its mentioned that basically every demon family/clan shares a unique ability, so if two demons with different BLAs marry + have children, theoretically the child should be able to inherit either right? Yet every instance of siblings we see in the series seem to pretty comfortably share the same one AND its the same one as their relevant parent so is there a special mechanism at play or something? Do demons raise only the children with the same BLA as their family line, and send the ones with the dif ability to that other family??? Do demons almost exclusively marry within the clan??? (This seems unlikely given series evidence) Do demon genes battle for dominance or are there magic rituals involved or somETHING
From what we've seen in the series, with characters like Robin having weaker abilities etc, BLAs definitely seem inherited rather than passed down as some sort of family technique so thats excluded as an option hmm. Objectively i know this is me overthinking this and the real reason every demon in a family shares an ability is because its easier if everythings consistent. But ALSO-

Liam did say the snow in MD was actually asbestos in some Q&A. The thing is, though, we do see a frozen body of water and various things with icicles on them.
I think as far as what is actually Canon, Word of God can either be disregarded (as sometimes Word of God is when it conflicts with/contradicts what is actually shown in the material; sometimes this is instead considered "author's headcanon"), or fans can choose to believe what is shown is a combination of asbestos and real snow ((my personal headcanon, given that while ice is shown, the snow characters physically end up touching doesn't behave entire like snow (ie. Not melting, which could be a side effect of 3D animators very reasonably not being concerned with a detail that is never story-relevant), which is just a fun way to interpret the environment in terms of world building to me personally!))
This is all I've wanted waaaaaa. Honestly I've always found the explanation of "the drones have really good insulation" a more cohesive explanation for why the snow doesn't melt. It also explains why the DDs still need so much coolant instead of just. Like rolling around on the cold ground (though imagine DDs rolling in the snow the way dogs roll around in grass that would be adorable). Murder drones is unfortunately a show where sometimes you have to pay extensive attention to details because the worldbuilding is very intricate in some places where as in others it's snowbestos </3 and you'll drive yourself mad thinking about it

She'd be miserable as a service drone. No freedom to mold herself into a preferable shape. And probably doing even worse in the manor, before she was thrown out she was most likely just a bald androgynous drone doing tech repairs or something. And now suddenly she's being put in a suit?? And called a butler?? Would she even realise what feels so off. How do you realise you're a girl and not a boy if you haven't even fully comprehended personhood yet??
She probably just thinks she hates her job. Which makes N feel so bad for her and also feel a bit awkward because uh. He likes his job. Is being a butler a bad thing actually? Oh nooooo
She gets along with Cyn though :) something something Cyn also feeling limited by her body? Being into tech/computers? Disliking her job? (she'd much rather be a butler like her big bro) God these two share so many similarities i will never get over it--
Does Uzi teaching Cyn abt computers as a fun bonding activity make her later on feel guilty for all the atrocities Cyn commits? Does she think she gave her the tools to make it possible? Oh my Lord.

Different drone models hcs!! I like differentiating between commercially sold drones vs the ones used by jcjenson privately cause well! Wouldn't it make sense for them to be built with completely different priorities!

Service Drones:
Basically just all the drones sold by jcj on earth. They have more expensive, specialised models (like imagine you own a restaurant... you'd probably want to buy waiter drones with AI specialised for waitering) but physically they're all p much the same model
They're quite flexible and nimble, they're used for various tasks from stocking the shelves of your local tesco to helping grandmas thread a needle, so they're capable of very precise actions
They don't have proper joints in legs and arms, instead each segments bends a lil on its own. Thanks to this, if one of those segments break - no need to worry! The drone can still bend its arm fine, no need to repair it! However. If too many of those start breaking the drone will start losing movement in that limb and repairing them is hard..... and discouraged......
That's because essentially, they're a product. They're designed to break eventually and be difficult to repair so that people throw them out and buy a new model. Giving jcj more money. How does it feel living knowing you're designed to die?
Powered by electricity? Well, we have the year 30xx and I do hope by this time earth will have moved to 100% renewable sources of energy.
More expensive models are sold with hair and clothes :3 makes em more "marketable". But if you're into diy you can give them hair yourself, there's tons of tutorials on youtube
Worker Drones:
Drones specifically used by jcj for mining exoplanets for materials. I imagine the main thing they were after on copper-009 was specifically oil. (Esp since. you probably can't get it back on earth anymore) So it would make sense for them to use it as fuel, it's abundant
Made of tough material to survive inevidable accidents during work. They can even make small repairs to themselves to minimise the need for human intervention (air's toxic. The less humans have to go outside the better.)
Body is covered in a thick layer of self-healing material so that minor dents and scratches can smooth themselves out
Overall unlike SDs. These models are meant to last. Makes sense why the Disassembly Drones needed to be equipped with like five different types of gun
