I had to lowk lock in on photoshopping/editing for this one as well because of the "WHY IS HE LYING?" text but its okay ive done worse i think i dunno i forgot oh well I dont have a lot to yap for this one cuz this was a spur of the moment decision that i wanted to suddenly draw him, it was nighttime when i started working on this so i cant 100% recall why i decided to suddenly draw this But if i vaguely remember i think its bcuz i found the youtube thumbnail meme on pinterest and found it funny and easy enough to draw it soooo ya

GOD this took SO DAMN LONG. WORKED ON THIS FOR THREE DAYS. Anyways its because of the fact that

1. I havent drawn hinako in ages (let alone properly AND with color at all) 2. I had to draw kanae in a SIDE PROFILE AAUUGHHHH I STRUGGLED SO BAD It was my first time drawing side profiles seriously and it doesnt help that kanaes design is complicated af 🥀 Actually BOTH of these designs are hella complicated I CRIED LOOKING AT THE LAYERS

As of writing, i have an hour before i have to head down for my mtl o-level exam lmao. Im surprised i managed to finish this in time

Ok but as much as i suffered drawing this it was honestly so worth it cuz ive usually been drawing the same things over and over again, so trying something new (like drawing a side profile seriously for once, drawing an oc i havent drawn in so long, and actually coloring said ocs) felt really good yay! I even feel like ive improved in some way but idk man

I wouldve drawn the phone that hinakos meant to be holding but i found it funnier that its just a png of an iphone HAHAHAH

The existence of hong lu in the notes is mandatory cuz i adore him and hes my ticket to staying sane this year

Oh my GOD i finally drew something after hours worth of trying to draw something then quitting the software multiple times. Im starting to like this brush more now yay (and using those alternative colors instead of pure black and white)

I wanted to color the inside lines but then halfway through i was like "nevermind this looks kinda ugly ill just keep it all the same color"

Im still trying to figure out the deal with his hair but overall i got his design down yay ! Im also gonna remove the ink splatters cuz those splatters just feel too big ones caused by ink

No joke i legit had to lasso art to get the overall shape of hair down MULTIPLE TIMES cuz of having to simplify it for the sake of my own comfortability 💔 at least i got it now yay i can finally draw him on my notebook with pencil

I actually wanted to make an oc who was a reference to another character in canon danganronpa but then i accidentally made an entirely different design so i was like "ok whatever i guess bro"
