Happy third anniversary to the Sonic Movie! Hard to believe it's been three whole years. This movie changed my life, thanks to it I recconected with the Sonic franchise, discovered my love for film and storytelling, it even led to me meeting some incredible people I wish to spend the rest of my life with (you know who you are)

And the impact this movie's success had on the Sonic brand cannot be understated, to many it was the start of a Sonic rennaisance. We all owe a lot to Jeff Fowler and crew.

So happy birthday to the little movie that could. No matter what happens, you will always hold a special place in my heart.

And then they went on to make another movie where they reduced Sonic to a punching bag, undoing all of the justice the first movie did.

In the games, you get to play levels where you get to battle and DEFEAT the characters who wronged Sonic!

Does Mephiles not exist to you? I mean. Sure, he’s apart of Solaris. But he’s technically his own person too. Sonic never got to beat the shit out of him. Also what about Silver? Silver beat the shit out of him countless of times but Sonic ended up being his friend. Sure, he fought back, but ultimately he didn’t even win. Not to mention Shadow in the dark story PLUS his own game. Forces is also up there! Sonic got trapped in jail for 6 months, Infinite kicked him down… there’s a lot buddy! Also Shadow won in the boom cartoon!

But that’s just the games. In the comics we have Scourge… Geoffrey… Surge… Metal Sonic…
