The air of the Turks and Caicos is laced with the scent of the salt from the sea and that very expensive sunscreen that makes Bella's skin flawlessly sparkle. The humid air is sticking to Bella's skin like a layer of silk, second layer, the first one is slung across her hips over her very string bikini. She's standing on the deck of the huge rented private villa on the water, looking out over the ocean and it’s vast nature. How this ocean looks like a hammered sapphire, rhythmically pulsing and dancing. Everything feels so very saturated here, the neon pink of her freshly made drink, the gold of her jewelry on her skin and the sharp clean line of the horizon beyond that sapphire ocean. Everything feels a little bit more emotionally saturated and touchable.
It feels damn near cinematic when she looks over at Matt approaching her. Lifting her head up to him, a smile painting her deep pink lips just at his presence. The way he effortless enters her bubble and the way the sweat drips patterns on his very skin. The kinetic energy of dating a professional athlete is intoxicating, nobody talks about that but they should. Welcoming him in with both her arms wrapping around him, as if pulling him towards her because she couldn't quite get enough of him otherwise. "hey" she simply says. There’s a specific vitality in the way he moves, Matt has a rugged, unbothered confidence that comes with him from the locker rooms to the ice rinks and everywhere inbetween. It’s a magnetic pull she feels watching it, but in the same breathe Bella is wondering if his timeline eventually permanently intersects with hers or if they are simply two different versions of young just passing through the night. Pulling him in more makes her wish she could keep him right there for a longer time, maybe a lifetime, but definitely desiring this level of warmth and electric intimacy with him for a indefinite time, no end in the horizon to it.
The breeze is stirring the linen curtains behind them in a true cinematic scene. The contrast is quite the setting the heat of the perfect beachy location combined with the cool crispness of the curtain. Bella curling into his chest without a single word, connecting despite the threat of it increasing the heat. His smell much more strong, more like the sweat musk of him and coconuts mixing. Her mind is drifting away with the tides beneath them, choosing instead to lean into the luxury of the moment drown out all the math regarding paths, years, and futures.

Matt had never been to Turks and Caicos, and he was in awe of the beauty that he was surrounded by in the private villa that they had rented. The villa was something like out of the movies; it was so gorgeous, and the water was unlike anything he had ever seen; it was so blue and clear. He could hardly believe his luck that he was in a place like this, for one, but the fact that he was in this place with such a gorgeous woman like Bella was surreal to him too. It still blew his mind that someone as gorgeous as her wanted to be his girlfriend, and he felt very lucky to be here with her, to have her as his, and he just wanted to spend this whole vacation spoiling her and showing just how much she meant to him.
She was standing out on the deck in nothing but a gorgeous bikini and wrap, and Matt couldn't pull his eyes away from her as he stood at the door for a moment before approaching her. He himself was just wearing a pair of board shorts and the sunscreen that Bella had made him put on so he didn't get all burnt, like he promised her he would if Matt stayed in the sun too long. But after staring at her for a moment, Matt can't help but move into her space, and when Bella wraps her arms around him, he can't help but smile and press a kiss down on the top of her head as he pulls her against him. "Hey beautiful," he replied to her greeting easily, and just held her a little tighter as they stayed there on the dock, looking at the water and just being close to each other. Matt lived for moments like this, when he could be wrapped up in Bella and it was just the two of them, when it was quiet and they could just enjoy each other. All he knew is he wanted this for as long as he was lucky enough to have this, and he couldn't help but be hopeful that he was lucky enough to have this for a very long time, maybe even a lifetime if that's what Bella wanted too.
Matt ran his hand smoothly along Bella's back as she curled into him more, and he loved just how much bigger than her he was and how she could curl into him like she did. He pressed another kiss against the top of her head and looked out at the water again for a moment before pulling his eyes back toward Bella and giving her a soft smile. "How should we spend the rest of our day? Just laying on the deck by the water? Or should we dive into the water and have a little fun in there?" He wiggled his eye brows a little teasingly as he said the last part, mostly just wanting to make Bella laugh by him being funny. But he'd be up for anything with her; no matter what Bella wanted to do, Matt was on board.
