Please read if you write whump!
Everyone has their own backgrounds and interests, but as someone who has a degree in English and Creative writing, I want legitimate publishing credits (not just fanfic posting).
The idea:
Creating a literary journal focused on whump stories. It might be an online only thing, it might go into print, I donât know. But I want to give people a space to get legitimate publishing credits for what they are already writing. Tweaking fanfics a bit so they are more original, or if you already write original whump, it would be welcome!
Who is interested in helping me start this or sending in work to be published?
I hate to be one of those people with the posts begging for money.. so, Iâm offering a few services! Just some background, my husband recently had covid and was hospitalized. Between being off work for those weeks, the upcoming hospital bills, and just not making enough to pay bills before all this happened.. I need to do something. So hereâs what Iâm offering:
1. 1 card tarot reading for $5
2. 3 card tarot reading for $10
3. Proofreading papers and suggesting edits $10 for first, $3 for rereads of same paper. (Up to 20 pages)
4. Writing you a short story using your idea for $20 (Original ideas or if fandom related, please be in one of my fandoms..)
5. One hour of zoom/facetime/messenger/etc English tutoring $30 (I have a Masterâs in English and Creative Writing)
6. One hour of zoom/facetime/messenger/etc listening to you talk about your problems and giving advice if you want it. $30 (I have a minor in psychology but am in no way certified to give you medical advice nor should you actually listen to me)
And finally, Iâm open to donations.
Anything you are interested in (especially story writing), send me a message before payment so we can discuss it to make sure Iâm the right person for the job! I accept asks, messages, or emails!
Paypal: [email protected]
Even if you canât help or donât want my services, please share this! Thank you so much.

Tarot Tips
đ Find The Empress in your deck. The card behind her will reveal what you need to do to nurture and care for yourself.Â
đ When in conflict or competition with someone, look for 5 of Wands. The card behind it will reveal the solution to the problem.
đ If you see the same card over and over again in readings, it is a sign and you must pay attention to its message for you.
đ For a better understanding of each card, observe it closely and form your own interpretation that follows its themes. It will help you interpret readings better.
đ To find out what is making you feel stuck or delayed, look to The Hanged Man. The card underneath him will show what is holding you back. The card in front of him will show you how to overcome it.
đ When shuffling your cards, if any card drops out of your grasp, take it as a sign and read the card.Â
đ You do not need crystals with you to do proper readings, but a good way to cleanse your deck is to place a clear quartz on the top of your deck before each reading. Keep in mind; thereâs a variety of ways you can cleanse your deck.
đ Often when The High Priestess appears in a reading, she is trying to tell you that you know the answers and that you should listen to your inner voice.
đ There is no wrong way to shuffle or cleanse your deck. Do what feels right for you!
Write your Witchcraft
The thing is, we change. We are not the same person we were five years ago. Hel, a lot of us are not even the same people we were last week. We change, and our beliefs, favourites, thoughts and the way we see ourselves changes with it.Â
The same is true for our witchraft, religion and spiritual beliefs. This is why I have a list of question that I like to answer for myself every couple of years. I first started this when I came across a list of questions by Juniper from Walking the Hedge (site no longer in use) in 2008, yes, over ten years ago. Every few years I filled in the questions and looked back at the answers I gave before. Some never changed, some changed quite a lot.Â
When our coven started a new lesson plan, I gave out the list of questions as well. We sealed our answers in envelopes and plan to fill them in again, once we finish our lessons. Then open the envelopes and look at the answers side by side. To see how we have changed.Â
I looked at the list last week and found it actually lacking a bit. The questions were very deity- and spiritual based, so I was missing some more questions about my personality and witchcraft. So I decided to make my own list of questions!Â
Since I wanted to make this more a weekly journaling/grimoire prompt for myself I put together 52 questions. These can be answered weekly (maybe every year) or you can work through the list in one go and repeat that every few years or so.Â
Some notes on the wording: I consider myself both a witch and a pagan, but to keep it easier to read I only used wording like âwitchâ and âwitchcraftâ, they can however be substituted for âpaganâ, âpaganismâ or even âmy pathâ, should that fit you better. When I talk about âsacred spaceâ this can both mean a ritual space like a temple or casting of a circle, but also just your home or outdoors witchy environment.
Iâd love it if you would tag anything you feel comfortable with posting online with the tag #writeyourwitchcraft!

Help: Dream interpretation
Iâm generally pretty good at interpreting dreams or finding resources to help me but iâm finding myself struggling with this one.
I keep dreaming of trying to keep things out of water, trying to keep them from getting ruined. The most recent one there was a raft and the water kept splashing up onto the sides so i had to keep the stuff in the middle to keep it dryest. There was another i remember (i think both were in rivers/little lakes with some swampy parts) but i had to try to swim across holding something up to keep it dry.
Idk, anyone have any ideas?
đšBeginner Spell to Make Your Period Lighterđš
So I usually have a pretty heavy period and itâs so annoying. And it sucks even more when Iâm working and I get my period. (I have a summer job, I dont work full time)
When I get my period on the week I work, I usually do this spell and results show pretty quickly. (Within 2 days)!!
*Supplies:
đšRed candle
đšA red rose
Directions:
đšLight the red candle and hold the red rose in your hands.
đšSay: I call upon thee [universe, elements, your diety, etc] to make my period light and make it through this cycle with ease. So shall it be.
*you donât have to have any of the supplies listed, I did the spell in the bathroom with no supplies and it worked just the same!
đwriting + witchcraftđ
writing has always been a passion of mine, and thereâs nothing i love more than combining personal hobbies with witchcraft! thereâs so many ways you can use writing to boost your craft, or use your craft to boost your writing; these are the ways i personally do!
honour whatâs special in your craft. if youâre theistic, dedicate a piece of writing to them. if youâre not, but you want to honour something else, you could write about the earth, or the stars, or absolutely anything. this would make a great grimoire or b.o.s entry!
learn to use automatic writing. this is a cool kind of divination that allows your subconscious/higher self, or spirits around you to control what you write. iâve tried this a few times and itâs quite fun, but iâve always wanted to try using it as inspiration for creative writing! here is a much better post on it by @satinsouled.
start journaling. journaling is a great way to clear your mind and encourage creativity, but it can be really useful in witchcraft too! write about your witchy experiences however you want to, so you have reference points to come back to later
draw inspiration from your craft. similar to the previous point, if youâve had an interesting experience that youâd like to write about, why not turn it into a poem or short story? if you worship deities, write a story about them. create your own world of witchiness that stems from your personal experiences - your writing will always be unique and interesting because no one else will have had your experiences!
use tarot cards and readings as inspiration. instead of reading tarot like you normally would, write prose or poetry inspired by it to note down your reading. i think the best example by far is @tarotprose, one of my favourite blogs on tumblr and actually my inspiration to start combining witchcraft and poetry.
souped-up spellwork. its easy to work spells you find online, word-for-word, because you think thatâs how itâs âmeantâ to be done. there are some people who say their way is the âonlyâ way, but thatâs a toxic way of thinking. use poetry and creative writing to create your own, personalised chants, invocations and spells! your words will have more power for you than anyone elseâs, and youâll probably find your spells will work much better if you put your own personal touch into them.
iâm really trying to get back into writing, so if anyone has any poetry prompts please send them to my writeblr @aghostwrites! if you have any more suggestions please reblog with them, i always want to hear your opinions on what topics mean to you in your craft. happy witching!
if you enjoy my content, and would like to support me, please click here to visit my store! i offer in depth tarot readings, tarot bags, custom sigils and patches all at very decent prices. this store is my only source of income and itâs currently paying for rent, food, bills, my dogs operation and a new car. if you can, please help! any amount of support means the world
