This situation is literally making me sick. My anxiety and stress are through the roof and I am unable to do anything about it. (I have no meds currently for it) Like I stated last time, the removal of net neutrality will hurt the people in the US. How?

• Because online shopping has become more successful in the past years, businesses may loose profit. Large ones might be able to manage, but small or new businesses won’t last long. This will also make it harder for people to find jobs.

• Schools, with an already low budget, will suffer and will likely have to remove things from the curriculum or shut down. (Go ahead and cheer now, but just imagine not being able to get a job because you don’t have a piece of paper.) Homeschooling will also be harder to sign up for, and as will online schooling.

• Sheltered animals won’t find as many homes and some will get put to sleep because of this, even the healthy and baby animals.

• Suicide rates for teens and adults will rise up. This is because the internet is chock full of resources and social media sites they can access that will often assure them that things will get better. (I know that I met lots of people on deviantart who have helped me get put of killing my self many times)

• People who are in long distance relationships may hardly ever or never see each other. (Especially if one or both people don’t have a phone)

These are all the things I could think of from the top of my head of what could happen if the net is gone. Now, you can call Ajit Pai, but you most likely won’t get him to change his mind. Try to call the other FCC members. Try to call your state governors or representatives or mayor or congress or anyone! If you email them, dont use a premade letter. Write it yourself and put in the reasons why YOU want to keep net neutrality. We can’t let them take away this resource from us! In this day, it’s just as important as electricity and running water. This is a NEED. Not a want. We don’t have much time left. If you protest, be peaceful. If someone has other opinions than you, don’t cuss at them and threaten them.
