when he loves and protects, he does so with a dedication that crosses over into the realm of blindness. he’s at his least hesitant when he’s throwing himself into his duty, wearing himself down to the bone in hopes of shielding those that he’s sworn himself to. bedivere makes a better shield than a blade, a better pillar of support than a warrior, but he’ll reforge himself into whatever he believes is most needed. perhaps a shield he is born to be, but he’ll be the finest blade he can be for his king, in all his blunted flaws, no thought given to the possibility of shattering, because it doesn’t matter as long as he continues to serve with his all. bedivere is earth to be downtrodden in order to carry the weight of his king, but beneath the earth lies unyielding iron. bedivere is not the most skilled knight, his movement almost crude in comparison to his fellows and he’ll always consider himself lesser for it (even when he’s not), but he is strongest in will. yet, none of this does anything to quell his fears.

in camelot bedivere believes himself to be a selfish coward. he’s lost everything he has ever prided himself on, and his greatest fears have come true, contorting into circumstances even worse than what he originally dreaded. the weight of his guilt weighs heavier than any silver arm, and steadily ripping his soul apart in order to right his wrongs doesn’t feel like enough repentance for the gravity of his sins. sacrificing his all has always come naturally to bedivere, and at the time at which he accepts merlin’s offer he hasn’t anything to lose anymore anyway. bedivere faces all of his greatest fears and suffers his way through a long journey to something still short of an end he himself could accept as redemption, because he truly doesn’t think he can ever be forgiven despite it being his deepest of desires. bedivere, not unlike his king in her true timeline, can’t find peace in the life he’s forcing himself to drag on despite on the brink of dying. not unlike his king, peace is only something he comes close to finding once it’s given to him by someone else. bedivere has never really feared fading, but rather fears fading without ending the grim fate his sin has brought about.

   I didn’t realize there was another Fate Grand Order Camelot trailer that got released until now and I couldn’t help but to get these screenies of my darling husband! 💖💖

If I have seen the movie/show/or whatever this character is in I will let you know! But if I haven’t I’m just gonna give my best guess to their personality or what I think they like and everything. I will make them two palettes, one based on their appearance and one based on what I think their personality is. If you’d rather not see this just block the tag “character palette and personality guess” I figure no one’s tagging anything like that so it should be easy to filter out. If you genuinely like this character and I lowkey diss them I’m sorry, I’m not going to apologize though, you’re going to have to live with it. Alright so this is Bedivere from the anime/manga/game Fate/Grand Order. Never watched, read, or played it but it looks cool.

Most long haired guys in anime seem like they’re horrible people, but this guy seems different. I don’t know if it’s the green or like, the ambiance but like, I trust him. He seems like a gentleman, the kind of guy who pulls the chair out for you at a restaurant. He kind of guy who will make phone calls you don’t want to make and talk to people you don’t want to talk to for you. I like it. I feel safe with this guy, feels like if he and I go to a party together and I’m like, walking around for too long and getting bored I can just give him a look and he can immediately think of an excuse for us to leave. I like it. The outfit is very cute, it’s armor mostly but the little skirt and bow are very nice. I like the taupe color with that shade of green and white, plus the like yellow cold trim on the lil skirt and the blade? Very nice. This is a good palette. They’re not your favorite shades of these colors, but they work. They’re good, they’ve got a fairy cottage kind of vibe. I feel like maybe he’s not even a knight, he could be some sort of fairy or forest spirit just dressed as a knight. I fuck with this guy. Wait, is that arm a prosthetic? He just became 10x cooler if it is because that design is gorgeous. The intricacy, I’m really appreciating it. It’s all coming together nicely. The glow makes this feel like a flashback. Is he dead? Is he a ghost? Did he come back from the dead to tell me where to find a certain item everyone’s been looking for? Does it involve keys? I have many questions. I like to think it involves keys or a flower, probably a flower. Perhaps some berries that glow a nice color? Maybe a orangey yellow or a bluegreen? Greenblue? I don’t know, but I feel like he’s going to fade and there’s going to be a deer on the other side of that water encouraging me to follow it and then it leads me to this glowing tree where the flowers are and I pick one after I’m allowed to and I go back home and I save his sister from death and I’m hailed as a hero but also I complete the mission for this guy and he can finally crossover to the other side into Heaven or whatever he believes there is after death. I hope his sister’s okay.
