OTABEK CAME OUT OF NOWHERE, RESCUED YURIO FROM THE FANS LIKE A PRINCE CHARMING AND TOLD HIM ABOUT HIS FIRST IMPRESSION WHEN THEY FIRST MET AND THEN TOOK HIM OUT FOR TEA 

So let’s recap. In the pilot Victor asks Yuuri, the guy who spent the night before drunkenly hitting on him, for a commemorative photo and Yuuri won’t even look Victor in the eye, just pretends he didn’t hear him (burn, much?) and then an entire year later Victor sees a youtube video of the guy who rejected him skating one of Victor’s old routines (in his podunk hometown rink, out of shape and washed up), and immediately goes YES I STILL HAVE A SHOT and fucking hops on a plane a day later, waltzes into Yuuri’s home, gets buck naked and waits.
