He had to get out of the house. His parents were absolutely insufferable as of late - questioning him on just about everything he did. Regulus wanted to tell them, tell them everything that happened between himself and Sirius, but they wouldn't understand. They wouldn't see things from his perspective, and if they ever found out that he had even spoken to his brother, that he had tried to make up with him, he was worried that he would end up in the exact same situation as him. With his face burned off the tapestry. Regulus couldn't let that happen. He owed his family so much - he didn't want to be another disappointment to them. Deciding to go for a walk, something he had been doing much more of recently, he found himself rather disappointed that the dog that usually hangs about wasn't anywhere to be seen, so he just went wherever his feet decided to take him. Finding himself on the doorstep of his aunt and uncle, he supposed he wasn't surprised to be there. He always was a little closer with his uncle than he was with either of his parents.
Regulus let himself in, just as he always did. He wandered around for a moment, it was abnormally quiet, but he didn't think anything of it. Maybe no one was home, which wasn't an issue, he felt just as at home here than he did at his own house. Regulus made his way into the drawing room where he found one of the house elves. Smiling at the creature, he requested a drink as he sat down in one of the arm chairs, making himself comfortable. He had only been there for a few minutes before he heard footsteps growing closer. He sat himself up straight, wiped the smile off his face and waited patiently to see who was approaching. When Cygnus entered the room, his smile returned easily and he held up his glass. "Hope you don't mind, I helped myself to a drink." Regulus said, slumping back into his seat again. "And I hope you don't mind I dropped by unannounced, I needed some time away from the house."
