“What are you doing here?” You placed your hot chocolate on the side table and closed your book next to it. When you turn around you see Paris’ famous superhero Chat Noir balancing on a pole just outside your railing.

“What? A guy can’t visit you?” He frowned, leaning his arms on the railing of your balcony.

“It’s almost midnight, why are you here? Are you a stray?” You laughed, his eyes drawing down at your comfortable choice of clothing.

“This cat might’ve just missed you, is that so hard to believe?” you roll your eyes as you watch him jump from his place to the space next to you, he tossed aside the retracted pole at your feet and sat down on the floor looking up at you.

“Oh yeah? Or did you just want attention?” You asked as you flicked the bell attached to his suit.

“Cute,” Martin said in a laugh before stopping his bell from swinging more, “Maybe that too, it gets lonely at night.”

“And I guess I’m the only cure to your loneliness?” You fully turn to your side to face the boy.

“Not the only cure but definitely the best,” he says with a smile resting his chin on the armrest.

“Where’s your partner? Hmm? What’s she up to?”

“Oh? Ladybug? I don’t know, she might be asleep,” he shrugged as if he could care less. You laugh at his disinterest in your secret other half of you.

“I thought you guys had a thing going on,” you tilted your head faking oblivion.

“No no no, I mean, I guess we used to, but I have my little eyes set on another girl,” he hummed softly, little does he know the two girls are the same person.

“Really? Who?”

“Is it not obvious?”

“No, I think you’ll have to be more specific.”

“Well you know her really well,” he said while laughing at his stupidity.

“Ew why would you say it like that,” you cringed at his middle school confession.

“Oh whatever yin it’s not like you didn’t know, why else would I come to your balcony like every other night?”

“I mean, you haven’t in a while I thought you forgot about me.”

“Pfft as if, I’ve just been busy, you know, with fashion week and stuff,” he sighed softly trying to act smug. “I’ve been working with Martin Edwards, you know—the usual.”

“Oh? He’s real cute too,” you smiled trying to pry out some jealousy from him but it kind of brought up his mood?

“You think?”

“Yeah I mean I love his fathers work and I’d even say we are pretty good friends.”

“You and Martin?”

“Mhm, why? Jealous?”

“Of that nerd? No way,” he laughed, sitting up straight and adjusting his posture with a sly look on his face, “you got any more room on that chair? My ass hurts,” he grumbled standing up and trying to fix his back.

“Ugh you’re so annoying,” you scoot over leaving room for him, he makes his way next to you wrapping his arm around your shoulders.

“You cold?” He smirks at the look on your face.

“You’re so annoying,” you grumbled, and yet you don’t move or say anything in protest of the comfortable arrangement, you even let yourself lean against his chest slightly with your arms crossed around yourself.

“You don’t seem to mind,” there was a soft expression on his face (from what you can tell) while he looked at you cuddled up on the chair.

“I’m just being nice, you got a crush on me after all,” you teased while he rolled his eyes.

After some more bickering and small talk you slowly but surely accidentally drifted off to sleep laying on his chest fidgeting with the long belt attached to his hip.

“Yin?” He spoke after noticing you stopped listening to his story. “Aw so cute,” he mumbled with a wide grin on his lips looking at your tired face. But he always finds a way to ruin a nice moment and this time it was cause by the beeping he heard coming from his ring. He slowly tried to get up but your arm wrapped around his waist made his heart melt a little.

“Yin, get up,” he whispered but you were knocked out. As much as he wanted to stay there and deal with the consequences later he began to pick you up, you mumbled some half asleep protests as he walked to the door down to your room.
