Simmon’s real name
So, in a recent stream, Pat revealed a lil’ secret about our beloved Sim. Simmon and Sim are mere nicknames, his real name is……………..
PERSIMMON.
YES HE SAID IT FROM HIS MOUTH AND THAT’S A LIL SPOILER. He tells that his older brothers make fun of him calling him Percy and he hates it that’s why he introduces himself as Simmon as a nickname but people think it’s his actual name thus calling him Sim for short. ISN’T THAT THE CUTEST FACT IN THE WORLD?! I love the character and I think that this name fits him perfectly….I’m gonna cry in a corner if you excuse me.
Also maybe Willem‘s name is too not his full name…
Well this applies the thing that Pat said that every character’s names hold a meaning that fits the character itself.
kvothe kkc I care you

“‘Quiet!’ he hissed. ‘We have to be quiet. He has ears like a hawk.’ ‘How …’ Chronicler began more softly, the stopped. ‘Hawks don’t have ears.’ Bast gave him a puzzled look. ‘What?’ ‘You said he has ears like a hawk. That doesn’t make any sense.’ Bast frowned and made a dismissive gesture. ‘You know what I mean.’”
