Honestly, 'Apathy Syndrome' is way too fancy a word for it. If you ask me, those people are just quitting on themselves. Because people don't even understand the weight of their own single life, they blabber on about 'finding themselves' or whatever, and in the end, they wind up not knowing what they're even supposed to do.

Man, I love these books. They gave us the reason why Shinjiro was visiting Akihiko’s hospital room that day. Maybe they mentioned the reason in the game, although I don’t really remember. But it’s still neat nevertheless in my opinion

Mizuki is the first of niigo to know, not Ena. Not for any reason in particular, Akito just accidentally used watashi in front of them before she got the chance to tell anyone outside of vbs and meiko. Mizuki was just going to tease him for it, but she can see that Akito is terrified of how she'll react, so decides to just ignore it. Akito asks why and Mizuki just shrugs and says "you know me." or something like that. She eventually asks Mizuki to not tell anyone until he's at least had the chance to tell Ena. Mizuki agrees to shut up until Ena brings it up, but also to ask Ena to shut up until Akito is comfortable with her just doing that, and Akito just Stares in realisation. Mizuki understands, and isn't being bitchy about it like Akito has come to expect from them. Then Mizuki calls Akito Lil' Sis and walks away and he remembers that Mizuki is still Mizuki, even if they're capable of being nice for a minute.

After this, Mizuki tends to randomly switch between calling Akito Lil' Bro and Lil' Sis and is almost always correct. I say almost because it's not verifiable when Akito isn't there. Ena isn't as reliable because she talks to Akito once in the morning, and sometimes it's very brief, so she guesses if she has a brother or a sister that day based on what Akito is wearing. Which would be fine if Akito didn't dress the exact same all the time and the only thing that really changes is his personal pronoun.
