Every once in a while, I wish the friendship meter from the Sims was real so that way when people tell me "I used Chat-GPT" they can visually see just how much respect I just lost for them in that moment.

do we think a dwarf warden ever feels some sort of strange bitterness once they end the blight before it even starts. The creatures left on the surface will flee back to the Deep Roads, way closer to home and yeah, they're at their weakest right now but that never lasts long. The respite for Orzammar has lasted a little over a year in front of who knows how many more centuries of more darkspawn attacks, provided their people even have that kind of time. Does a title like Hero of Ferelden sounds like mockery to them

all that said i know it's canon that dwarves almost never die in the joining. but i favor the idea of them reacting to it more like griffons. dwarves have such a deep and personal hatred of darkspawn that the joining often just outright drives them mad. they probably live most of the time but i imagine their calling comes for them a lot sooner and they're a lot more darkspawn-esque than your typical non-dwarf warden (even bigger appetites, an even crazier intuition/hive mind when it comes to their fellow wardens, a much stronger darkspawn sense ability, strength and stamina that is just a straight up FRENZY in battle on top of usually being berserkers etc etc). and yeah
