the fact that John Brown is not celebrated as an American Hero, when enslavers like Washington, Jefferson, etc & traitors like Robert E. Lee are, is sooooooooooo telling about AmeriKKKa.

I'm only bringing this up because you mentioned his family and I wanted to say my great grandpa was, like, radicalized after being a cop in Detroit during the race riots and moved away and ran for mayor on an anti-KKK platform. Grandpa described him as a mean, stubborn man and he fuckin HATED the KKK. He would just stand outside one of their buildings and yell at them for hours. He would haul Grandpa's ass and his brother's out of bed at like 0300 in the morning and bring them over to put sugar in the KKK menbers' gas tanks hahaha
