What is it about Merry Go Rounds that makes little girl's heart sing with pleasure?! Even on a day of 2C!!! Personally, the "chicken" that I got told to ride cracked me up. The kids of course always went for a trusted stallion. Top tip.. If you are going somewhere like #ThomasLand go on a cold day.. We had a fantastic day and barely had to queue. Though were little icicles by the end of it! (fear not the kids had hoodies and gloves, she just wasn't wearing them in this photo)! 🐓🐎❄️💙

Soooo. I try and walk 10,000 steps a day.. I don't always manage it, but it has been a great way to get fresh air and feel healthier. Now on my walks (with @incredibusy no less!), I come across all sorts. Today we met #FatCat , or should I call him #GrumpyCat ?! He made us laugh!! We have lots of funny cats in our area.. Aaaah there are SOOO many lovely things you can make out of humble paper. We adore these little foxes (a lovely reader adapted the pattern and made badgers too). So cute for your autumn reading sessions. We love that the book corners tuck in nicely, so nothing sticks out, gets bent or broken, but yoi still find your space. Selected by our lovely judge @tinkerlab (she has an amazing IG account which *has to be* followed!! ・・・ REPOST I'm a terrible judge because I see winners in everyone's work, and have to admit that ALL of the submissions to this week's #kidscrafts101 (make something with leaves) melted my heart. I limited myself to five, and I hope you'll find these images as inspiring as I have: @housingaforest made handprint trees with circles punched from leaves, @pgpbmeghan collected leaves and did process-based art inspired by the artist Rousseau, @cintaandco collected leaves for drawing and naming like scientific specimens, @flashbugsstudio made pretty suncatchers with embroidery hoops, @kayjaysews added colorful stickers to dark leaves and that contrast is striking!
