did you hear about them but Spot and Jack rivalry :]

I get the sweetest amount of joy at the concept of this clip. In the proshot we’re zoomed in on Jack and Davey (fair) but I want to know what the other boys' reactions were. That’s where this tour clip comes in. (Besides newsie #7, he’s just walking across stage,) Race and Spot linger on stage longer than everyone else here too. Spot’s fighting with Jack while Davey and Race watch.

Oh how I love the idea that Race is just as heartbroken (or betrayed however you’d like to put it idk) as Davey but in more of a collective sense. Like he was so sure that Jack had the boys and his back that when he went behind them Race breaks. Since Jack’s absence at the beginning of act two Race was keeping the peace, he was the one who started King of New York to keep the other boys spirits up. I imagine Race to be attached to every relationship he makes, so the idea of Jack betraying them would really hurt him.

OH, also Spot chases after Race I don’t make the rules. (Side note: I don’t know why Race is less clothed in the proshot than the tour- was that a choice LMAO? I’m still a fan of the clothes color theory no matter the case thank you!)

(Also I’d love to see if anyone has the other photos from that deleted btc insta post, but that’s a side quest)

I thought I might’ve seen it before when I first got into newsies but I might be mistaking it for the other 13284728 newsies reunions that have happened over the years.

But anyways I’m going to go to bed because I’ve in fact lost so much sleep over this (why do I feel like I’m diving into lost newsies media help pretty please)
