How to fix loose N64 - Analog Sticks

Only thing needed (besides a screwdriver):

Unscrew, open Controller. (Note: Don't forget the two tiny ones in the slot for the memory cards / vibration paks.)

Unscrew that black block, put off the button for the Z-Trigger in the middle (warning, don't break!)

Open block, warning: There's a spring inside, hold tight!

Take out platine, open completly.

Take out all parts, clean everything.

To get the stick out, just press it down slightly and turn it around 180°.

Add string to analog stick.

Note: Not to much, just add some like on the pic so it's above that 'ball' and not all the way up.

Note: The stick is loose cause the plastic wears off and it's to low, with the added string you keep it up a bit more and the spring will make it feel tight again.

Put everything back together (don't forget the platine in the black block, put the button for the Z-Trigger back in it's place), put all screws in - you're done! Happy gaming again!
