okay so to start, my mom didn’t believe this was a real opportunity in the first place. she didn’t take it seriously. my dad was like whatever but he said he couldn’t take me. finally i found myself a ride, but i had stopped talking about it to my parents at this point. i woke up that morning, called out of my shift at work, and left my house. mind you!! i’m seven hours from rhode island. seven hours on the road, eight hours at taylor’s with no cellphone, then seven more hours on the road. by the time i got my phone back it was almost midnight and i knew no one would be awake anyway, so 8am 24 hours later i stumble back into my house with my bag of taylor merch hanging from my arm and my mom takes one look at me and she’s like “what the fuck did you do?” and i was like “i went to taylor’s” and she like kind of cared but kind of didn’t??? like she wasn’t mad she was just like “you could’ve called me lmao” i guess. and then a week later i got my pictures with taylor and she showed literally every single person she works with. so!! moral of the story is if you ever run away to a celebrity’s house, please call your mother first
