pandorc:
“Oh, what in the actual-?” Bundled up in her coziest lounge wear, Pandora was trying her very best to get through whatever book it was that was open on the desk. One of the mostly-empty rooms in the Compound had been commandeered - with blessing from her Father - and turned into an office of sorts. Though, because her line of work was based in magic and the like, the room was quite different than the standard home office. While there were bookshelves and a computer, that is essentially where the likenesses ended. The shelves were crammed with books and crystals and potted plants, and jars filled with different kinds of water and dried herbs.
“What do you mean!?” Now it was a bit clearer; she was trying to learn tarot. The book in front of her was a guidebook, and Pandora was essentially arguing with the cards laid out before her.
They make their way into the Compound, both caked in dirt and earth. Once inside they hear a familiar voice and instantly mirror one another as their crimson heads look up. Blue and emerald eyes (the only thing that separates them at first glance) meet in silent communication before they both make their way through Maharet’s massive estate. “Mm...” The regent hums, it looks like things have been well taken care of while they were away, as expected. They inhale the scent of familiar herbs and incense wafting from the room their feet are inexorably drawn to. Towards the voice that rings in their ancient hearts. Mekare is the one to open the door revealing the little witch and leads them inside. Maharet surveys the room with a proud smile. “What do we have here?” The younger twin asks, that smile still on pale lips as the elder twin rests a hand, caked in dirt, upon her niece’s shoulder.
