WILL OF A WARRIOR

        “right? there are so many people in this city, i don’t expect there not to be any bad seeds hiding in the bunch somewhere. if you asked me, i would have nudged them on the head with a shovel myself– but thank you all the same.”

        “they are fine for the most part. if you had shown up later, it would have been different. say, you want one?”

             “People who don’t have respect for others most likely wouldn’t show any towards flowers. Still, so long as they’re alright, I suppose we should consider this a success.”

     “so this building is meant to represent the city’s law enforcement? it looks like it’s seen better days.” perhaps to the untrained eye that might not seem like the case. it was a fairly modern building without any noticeable blemish, and yet… it was missing something. “were the law enforcement actually prevalent there would be more staff around.”

     the king turned to the young japanese man whom had agreed to accompany her. “i suppose the natives of this land see little need in doing so? i suppose it makes sense considering how many of us have powers.”

             “More staff, you say?” The tone used reflects his doubt; while he hadn’t expected anything great from the law enforcement, the fact that they lacked a basic set of patrols had disappointed him immensely. “Hmph... I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised, what with the crime rate being so high here.”

Being mindful of his steps, Shunsou walked the streets as he carefully examined each and every landmark. It was only about a day of his stay that he’s admitted defeat to ever really finding out what or where he is. He was probably just somewhere he’s never been before—the technological advances of those in the West were noticeably different than it was back at home in Tokyo; electricity was one of technology that Japan has yet to adapt. His situation was probably just something similar to that. But even then, he can’t shake the lingering feeling that maybe this place was too advanced.

Perhaps somewhere in delving into his own thoughts, he must’ve stopped paying attention to where he was going. Seemingly bumping into someone, he takes a step back to recollect himself and quickly apologize. But his eyes were faster than his mouth—that university uniform. That style of gakuran was… exactly what he’s wearing, actually.

Wide eyed, Shunsou could only quietly stare. “I… Sorry.”

             The peculiarities of this place had him stop for observations sake far too many times, and now would be no different. Having now been attracted to certain city lights, his feet come to an abrupt halt; mesmerized by the sight, he idly stands in place for a minute or so before wandering of to the side of the street, away from the hustle and bustle of those passing by. This considerable action was done for the reason of deterring others from colliding into him. He had thought it was enough, yet he’s soon proven wrong when he feels sudden pressure along his back. Startled, he immediately jolts away from it, shifting his figure towards the source all the while.

             What he’s met with is an individual whose gaze had been fixated on him—presumably due to their run in. A few seconds pass and it’s only then when he faintly hears an apology coming from the young man before him now. Asougi’s initial response to him is a soft sigh; it was a bit cumbersome, but he was thankful no one was hurt in the process, at least. “Don’t worry about it. What’s done is done.” Pausing briefly, his arms move to cross over one another and over his chest. “The next person you run into might not be so forgiving though, just bear that in mind.” 

The Warrior ( or Hero )

born and raised in the asougi household ( a family known for their skills with a sword ), he was taught martial arts and how to wield a sword at a young age by his father, whom he has great respect for! unfortunately, his father met an untimely end alongside his mother, and so he was taken in by his adoptive father and gained a cute little sister in the process! as he grows up, his sense of justice expands and his father’s circumstance drives him to become a defence attorney!

one of the many best boys in the franchise, seriously though, he’s really, Really good! i want to highlight that as much as i can, he is amazing and super interesting ( along with others in dgs but i’ll stop here before i go off ogh )

twenty three years old, asougi is basically the popular student at the university he’s enrolled in, everyone knows who he is! not that he really cares about all that!

while he is studying to be a defence attorney, it’s actually noted that he’s already more than qualified to be one!

personality wise, he can be a little blunt and sarcastic, but that doesn’t mean he’s unkind ( it’s very much the opposite ) or unable to crack a smile, though that’s only possible when he’s around his friends and family. with them, he smiles and laughs pretty frequently! otherwise, it’s somewhat rare! anyway, it’s very cute… when he does smile…

he values his bonds very much and is willing to put his own safety on the line if it means they’re granted safety! for example, you insult a friend of his? he will tell you to shut up in his own way, or straight up tell you to shut up, either or, really.

if the law shows corruption, then he’s more than willing to overlook it for the sake of justice! he’s really for true justice and all that! but he won’t blatantly challenge authority, he’d rather beat the system at it’s own game, that’s why he wants to become an attorney, to help change the system.

he’s super proud of his skills with a blade, and that extends to his intelligence as well; if he discovers that he has a weakness, he will strive to overcome it. immediately.

he’s also liable to encourage people should they feel down!!;_;

        “you… didn’t have to do that at all, but thank you, stranger. some people just don’t have any respect for the flowers, huh?”

             “I didn’t have to, no, but it wouldn’t have sat well with me if I had chosen to stand idle and watch instead. ... Ugh... really... this place is just teeming with inconsiderate fools, as expected...” 

             “You there! Miss! Excuse me, please wait!”

             “... A contraption that amplifies the volume of sound...” Having now pushed through the crowd some, he catches sight of young girl holding what seemed to be a microphone—though its design and shape heavily differed from the kind he knew of.

             Successful with his counter-strike, he then shifts on his feet, casually running up to the man who had still not known that he had just been robbed. “Sir...! Excuse me, but you seemed to have dropped your wallet.” Instead of telling him what had truly transpired however, he surmises that being blissfully ignorant was perhaps more favourable for the long run. “There’s no need to thank me, just be careful not to lose it again, alright?”

             “Your footwork needs improvement.”
