After the surprise attack on Tokyo PubSec, Section 4 is in shambles as Denji is ordered to continue to gather information on their attackers alongside Sugo Miri while Aki recovers in the hospital. Living alone for a week as he looks after Meowy, he receives orders to accompany another pair of hunters to go to Lake Biwa and investigate signs of strange activity.

Batman being abusive to his kids is so fundamentally wrong and makes him a one dimensional character and I personally hate it.

“Oh the dark gritty character is dark and gritty and mean” hey how about the dark gritty character is dark and gritty because he has to be. He’s such a bleeding heart that he can’t let his enemies (and sometimes allies) know how much he loves and cares. He loves so much. He loves his city, he loves his kids. He’s full of so much love yet he can’t express it because he’s never been taught how. And maybe he’s harsh but it’s because he couldn’t imagine what he would do if he lost another kid.

Seriously, how do you take the man who said THIS

and write him as an abusive prick TOWARDS HIS OWN CHILDREN???

Am I saying Bruce Wayne is a picture perfect parent? Absolutely the fuck not. Bruce's issues have issues and his trauma runs bone-deep. Is that an excuse for his actions? No. But would he EVER abuse one of his own kids?? Absolutely the FUCK NOT.

I am so fucking tired of writers who don't understand Bruce's character getting ahold of him and turning him into some white male power trip fantasy douchebag (I'M LOOKING AT YOU, FRANK FUCKING MILLER).

Give me Btas Bruce Wayne, who is imperfect but loves his kids and helps charities and risks his life going undercover to help the homeless and stays with Ace when she's scared to die alone and hugs Babydoll while she sobs and gives Harley Quinn a dress she wanted while saying "I had a bad day, too, once."

Give Bruce Wayne his fucking heart, DC.

After a surprising ending to the party last night, Denji concocts a plan to try and earn him another date with Himeno, only for his day to be derailed with Makima has him accompany her on her trip back to Kyoto, entrusting her safety to him.

At Himeno's behest, everyone arrives to the izakaya for a long-awaited post-work party! Denji drools over the spread of food as the other devil hunters chat about the nature of fiends. Denji keeps his eyes out for an opportunity as Himeno goes through draught after draught, looking for an opportunity. He wants that kiss!

After escaping the Labyrinth Devil's machinations, Denji wakes up in the hospital to an unexpected visitor. In the aftermath, he learns more about Public Security and spends time with his roommate until Himeno brings a surpise announcement.

Chapter 11 finds the gang recovering after the mission, and the humans agree to give their fiends a reward: a celebration! Denji gets to see more of Himeno than he ever has.

Denji, Aki, Power, and Himeno go off on their next mission, another devil suspected of being enhanced by Gun, but now Denji knows who, and what, Makima is. He's wary and anxious, and Himeno's pretty smile and gorgeous curves can only distract him so much, especially when their Gun piece keeps pointing in two directions.
