"Yeah, I've been here practically my entire life but the second I turned 18 I took the first train out of town. The rest of what happened is a really long story."

"Work…school…I don’t know."

"Well I'm not in school and Level is where I work. So..."

I wanted freedom from my parents, but also, I’m too too lazy to live in a big city, I would get lost like everyday

"You don't know what you're missing. I moved to the city for two years before I came back here. If it was my choice, I would have never left."

"True, true— but it’s so hard to have a good time when you’re working. I guess I can stop by for a few drinks.”

"Perfect. I'll try to get off early and then you can come over to my place."

Three years

"And what brings you to this dump in the middle of nowhere?"

Drinking on a tuesday makes me feel back in Germany.

"How long have you been in the States for?"

"People actually go clubbin’ on Tuesdays?"

"Uh...yeah. Why wouldn't they?"

"And my couch is free — but thanks."

"That's too bad...a guy like you could bring in a stampede of girls."

"Ella~ You know I don’t like Levels."

"I know but I'll be there and you know what that means...everything's free until the boss notices"
