Yesterday I heard from Ahmed and he was able to give me an update on his father. Ahmed says he is doing a little better, but he is still sick and needs more treatment.

The next chemo treatment is currently scheduled for April 28th. It will cost $835. Ahmed will need the money by 12am on the 28th, eastern european standard time.

In the past, the doctors had to postpone the chemo because we couldn't meet the goal by the deadline. I am hoping we can get the money on time, and not have to make Ahmed's dad wait and suffer longer.

Landry and Agissons Ensemble recently visited Linda Orphanage in Goma, where they prepared food for the children. These things are only made possible by the help of generous contributors supporting Agissons Ensemble. Landry and his team of volunteers are working tirelessly to provide displaced communities with food, shelter, and medical aid. Landry puts extra effort into creating joyful moments for the children, such as arts and crafts or even small holiday celebrations.

Landry's own family has been impacted by displacement. He is supporting his parents, his sister, and her children. His individual fundraiser goes towards his family's needs. He also uses the extra funds to help others in need, like Ezechiel. Landry met Ezechiel and his mother through his volunteer work and learned that the young boy was suffering from a serious skin infection. Landry was able to use some of the money he raised to take Ezechiel to the doctor's and get him medication to treat his infection.

Sudan is also going through a genocide since April 2023. The RSF, a paramilitary backed by the UAE, inflicts extreme violence. They have taken over Al Fashir, a city in North Darfur, for 500 days, cutting off aid! At the same time, cholera, a waterborne disease, is spreading. It has been the worst outbreak in the past 40 years!

Please make some noise for Sudan. Boycott the UAE, donate to fundraisers and grassroots organizations, and protest in the streets!

This image isn't just a scene from Gaza; it's my reality and the reality of an entire generation. Here, where our classrooms have been reduced to rubble, and where the sound of shelling drowns out the teacher's voice, there's no longer any hope for education.

I'm a diligent student with dreams in my hands, but these harsh conditions have crushed every opportunity for learning and a decent life. All the schools and educational resources have been destroyed. There is no life here, and no schools are functioning in Gaza now.

Randa and her family were able to safely evacuate Sudan thanks to the efforts of people who banded together to donate and share her campaign. She has reopened her fundraiser to help her cousin, Maryuma, do the same. Maryuma and her two young children, Reem and Rayan, are currently in Khartoum, where a deadly cholera outbreak has been spreading.

Maryuma has been fighting to keep her children safe and healthy, and now she also must fight to keep them housed. She is behind on rent and risks being evicted if she cannot pay. If she and her children are forced to leave their home, they will be at a greater risk of contracting cholera.

Reem and Rayan are all Maryuma has left after the murder of her daughter in an airstrike last year. Please help her to keep them safe so they can work towards evacuating and joining the rest of their family in Egypt.
