Terra wore a warm smile, and suddenly, Echo had the vague recollection of a blonde boy in her missing memories approaching her in a similarly friendly manner. It wasâŚa good memory. The servant shook her head quickly; she wasnât offended. But it was hard for her to express what she wanted to sayâŚ
"It is fine. Echo cannot remember how she met Master Vincent, only that Echo served him while he was here." Her voice suddenly becomes quieter, but itâs less stiff, and now filled with unease. âEcho remembers being loyal to Master Vincent, but Echo feelsâŚconflicted about him.â
Seeing how she had difficulty remembering certain details of even her own master got Terra thinking. What if he had chosen to go home? He would have likely suffered the same fate as everyone else who did choose to return to their own worlds. But then... he would forget Ven, Aqua and even his own Master.
It was a sobering thought.
"Conflicted?" Curious, but Terra knew what it was like to feel conflicted towards someone he looked up to and respected. It was an unpleasant feeling. "Oh, uh... you don't need to answer that, if you don't want to. I don't mean to pry."
