Entering the room with the paperwork about the Avengers in hand, Alexander found not the infamous Iron Man, but his daughter, who was coincidentally his very own niece, daughter of his adoptive sister, to whom he barely had any contact, save for the occasional ‘Help’. Well, things had taken a turn for the worse in so many ways. He wasn’t even sure if Andrea was aware that he was her biological mothers adoptive brother, but it didn’t matter in so many ways. Alexander had a job to do here and he didn’t have a lot of time.

“Andrea.” He knew no other lawyer, from Stark Industries or the government, even dared to call her anything but ‘Miss Stark’ but given the personal history, one he knew Tony Stark himself was aware of, he always took the liberty to do so. “Is your father on the premises?”

It wasn’t too uncommon for the teen to be present in the Avengers tower, especially after high school, on a daily basis. Usually, Andrea spent her afternoons in the higher levels of the tower, either in one of the common areas where the Avengers spent their free time or in the lower levels that held the conference rooms, doing homework or simply daydreaming the day away. On one such day, she was doing the very same, fighting the never ending battle between herself and physics, when the door opened and she looked up the moment she recognized the voice.

Living on her own took some getting used to in the beginning. It offered freedom, it offered the ability to travel where Andrea wanted and at the same time work on her baby --- Stark Medical Equipment. She eventually wanted to branch out Stark Industries and use her knowledge in medicine to start a sister company that would use Stark tech to make medical equipment for surgery purposes and patient rehabilitation. The main motivation for that was her dad, who was still slowly recovering from the injuries sustained in the final battle against Thanos.

It was a nice autumn afternoon in the forever busy New York City, the cars on the street beneath her apartment honking their horns, people occasionally yelling at each other --- the usual rush hour. The young woman sighed softly, pushing herself off the couch and setting her laptop on the coffee table before making her way to the kitchen. Her pets, an Afghan hound and three kittens, when noticing it, followed in tow, making Andrea chuckle. She only ever wanted to get a nice pot of cranberry flavoured tea going, though the doorbell, announcing a guest, stopped her from it as well.

Ezra, the Afghan hound in question, was the first one to bolt to the front door, giving a few barks before Andrea could even reach it. A few seconds later and the door opened, revealing somebody Andrea didn’t expect to see but was very happy to at the same time - Tali. She grinned, moving in to hug her. “Tali! I definitely didn’t expect to see you. Come in, come in!”

Ally had been spending most of her time at Tony’s bedside since he was miraculously brought back from space by the possibly coolest woman she’d ever met, but Pepper insisted she ate something so she was now in the kitchen forcing herself to snack on some grapes. She shouldn’t have been surprised to see Andrea standing in front of her–they had been by Tony together–but it was still a bit like a mirage, like she shouldn’t actually be there. 

“Yeah?” She was worried her half-sister would be angry over their disagreements with the Sokovia Accords, with Ally not choosing to side with Tony. “It’s good to see you too…How are you feeling?”

There was slight hesitation as Rea came closer to Ally. There was bad blood between them, at least there was in the past. Maybe it was overreaction from her side --- after all, when Steve and Tony had fallen out, Andrea was only 15, and Ally was older. There was a great chance that Andrea didn’t understand properly, that maybe their dad was really wrong. Though at the same time, it didn’t matter, not anymore. They needed to set the differences aside and make sure their dad would be fine, as fine as he could be.

The sheer excitement Andrea felt the whole day couldn’t even be described ever since she learned that Riri would be coming over for dinner. It had been ages since she had last seen her father’s successor in the superhero department, and while not all that much in touch lately, Andrea still loved to hang around Riri. 

Andrea was all around the house all day, mostly helping her dad and Pepper in the kitchen, all until the evening when the doorbell rang. With a bright smile on her face, she opened the door and instantly hugged Riri. “Riri! I missed you!”
