seranenâ:
rays of the sun that bathes the world at midday could genuinely blind him â Chou, the waiter of the underground, hidden floor. one not used to having direct contact with the sun much (a nocturnal being in essence). so, do excuse squinted dark blue eyes that gaze the scenario outside of restaurant windows, so bright and so dreamy looking! a, heâd surely never fit in there (even if facade is as warm as the gigantic star above).
however, his job isnât meant for daydreaming only â his bossâ gaze from behind counter warns him that much, man already on the run when the tension reaches his spine (if only Kaguya wasnât sick on that day).
â good day, good sir ~ ! â his greeting is filled with energy and cheerfulness, â Iâm todayâs waiter, Chouchou or Chou for short! â characteristic smile shown on pale features, â ya have been lookinâ an awful lot to the menu ~ ! is there anythinâ yaâd like to know ~ ? âhis posture, once completely rigid and formal, will relax, bending upper body slightly towards client. â if ya want any recommendations â the udon was lookinâ real good at the kitchen. â charismatic and casually, heâll suggest (even if he disagreed with it) it.
There was a moment of panic that shot through him as soon as he noticed the waiter approaching him. He wasnât ready to order! Heâs been looking at the menu sure, but definitely hadnât been reading it the entire time his eyes have been on it. âUm Hi Iâm-â He stopped himself, he nearly just introduced himself to the waiter. Seriously Asher has knocked him off his social interaction game by not showing up.
He took half a second to compose himself, and tuned back in to what the other man was saying to him. âUh yeah, sorry Iâm not really sure what to order...â Ryland explained, rubbing the back of his head, slightly embarrassed that he couldnât just tell this waiter his order. And now he has to waste his time by talking to him, telling him stuff he probably tells tons of people daily.
âOh! I donât have any other ideas so anything you recommend is appreciated,â Ryland finally relaxed, giving Chou a light smile. He was glad he didnât get stuck with someone who hated customers that took more than two seconds to order, because it wouldâve been a not so good time, âI guess Iâll have the Udon then! Have you had it from here before?â
