The aggressive and ignorant nature of his tweets just make me wonder. Theyâre very direct and crass, which is typical of mean spirited conservatives who hit the sauce and troll FacebookâŚ
Honestly Iâm not sure if this has been said yet, but I think that Derick was fired from TLC right before the first Jazz incident. It would make sense why he would go after her. He was indignant that TLC would fire someone as pure and holy and righteous as the Dillardâs but keep on that heathen and her family (EXTREEEEEME SARCASM!). So no he might not have been drunk, just being Derick Dickard.
On what grounds, though?
Maybe they didnât want Saumelâs birth filmed, which led to the fall out.
I honestly think Derick went off the deep end in Central America. Source: took a few psychology classes, do a lot of psychology-related reading on my own, still not an expert.Â
But basically, while Derick was always raised in a hyper-conservative environment, he still had some moderating influences, like being at a public college. He was surrounded by people who werenât like him, and instead of isolating himself, he was in the marching band. Probably no one would have ever spoken to him about religion, but it was a moderating influence in the sense that he very likely knew people who were LGBT, atheist, whatever.
Out of college, he had a job. His co-workers were his moderating influence. Then the scandal broke, the press knew exactly when he worked and when his lunch breaks were. He quit to avoid them, and thatâs when he lost any influence that could moderate his beliefs.
He went to Central America. He didnât have his in-laws around to tell him what to do. He only had his wife, who, according to their beliefs, he didnât need to listen to- she was to submit to him.Â
But then he came back to the States, still didnât give a shit about his in-lawsâ opinions because of Josh, had only his mother and siblings to encourage him to be basically the Donald Trump of the Duggar family. In some weird way, heâs the only member of the family whoâs consistent- he doesnât know why heâs working for a network that also displays the life of a trans girl. He is a fan of Donald Trump, who also âtells it like it is.â His mother is only encouraging the behavior, perhaps not actively, but passively because she speaks her mind on social media and gets criticized.
tl;dr he simply didnât want to work with TLC anymore, because he went crazy and is the first Duggar to object to TLCâs other programming and refuses to work with them since he canât say whatever he wants. Instead, heâs trying to become a proper pastor, so he can.
Soooo yâall didnât see the blind that Derrick forces men abroad who have no power to have sex w him and he killed one in Central America and forced his preg wife back there despite how fucking dumb and dangerous that is to tie up loose ends?
