I work in the library at my college and usually 30 minutes before closing, we go around the library and tell people we will be closing soon. One day, I opened the door into one of the study rooms and told a woman that we were closing soon. As soon as I closed the door, I realised that she was Jeremy’s mom, apparently Jeremy’s mom works as a teacher at my school. She seems very nice and it was neat to meet her unofficially.

I grew up in a Christian sect similar to the Duggar ladies, my mum had 14 kids and I was the oldest, at 17 they told me I needed to pray for a husband, now here’s the difference, I went to school, we were not home schooled. When it came to college though, only my brothers were allowed, I was forbidden to even apply. About 3 months later on my 18th birthday they introduced me to a young man, he was 20, in his senior year of Uni, he proposed to me on he spot, I being dumb girl said yes, but I wish looking back. I said no. We got married, he became sexually and physically abusive, luckily I had no children during this and I was able to escape to a hideaway, I am now 24 and heading to law school, my plan is to help women me and women similar to the Duggars find there’s more to life then babies and housekeeping.

If the Duggar ladies think and believe if u have sex before marriage you get a sexual disease and die then wouldn’t most of the world be dead lol? Almost everyone has sex before marriage and of course there are others who wait and all that but just saying, they make no sense and can’t say much about that

To be fair, Duggar men CAN control themselves. Seriously. Who else would have the self control to follow those crazy courtship rules? Not me. Most normal people don't save sex for marriage so we don't have to control ourselves like that, but it grinds my gears when people say Duggar's have no self control because they obviously do.

Jill says Derrick is the best-est for bringing cereal to her in bed? Now, if Derrick cooked, fixed Jill's plate, rubbed her feet, took care of the boys regularly, that would be close to best-est. Jill needs to realize there are more men out there who do so much more for their spouse/significant other on a regular basis.
