Depending on the professor, but I usually enjoyed listening to lectures, and I liked sessions and profs that encouraged questions and discussion from the group.  I feel like that was a definite strong learning style for me.  I sm.  I’m really loving it.  It’s so much fun.  I don’t think I realized how much I was missing that performance sort of aspect. It’s nice to do something like this just for the enjoyment.  No pressure, at least, I’m trying not to let it get to that point.  Which I’m sure you understand.  How are you doing though Reagan?

Understandable. Everyone has that different style of learning and I hope classes continue on well for you, Leo! I’m glad you’re having fun. Everyone is doing such a great job so far, your brother is really going to put on a great show. Plus, it’s nice that I don’t think any pressure is being put on anyone. I’m doing pretty good. As good as I can be with all the life changes I’m going through but I’m making it through. Focusing on helping Jackie with choreography has been helping.

Well, there are those first few days when we’re still in Christmas mode, but it’s also New Year mode that are a bit confusing.  I still do, but instead of something completely new, I try to just stretch myself a bit.  Two years ago, I made a resolution to read a book a month.  Last year it was to get out and date more, be more open to things like blind dates, and people setting me up with someone.  This year, its to enjoy myself more.  Make time for the things I enjoy doing, and find new things I enjoy.

I always give so much credit to those who can actually keep up with their resolutions, honestly. I hope that yours is holding up well so far. I know it’s still pretty early in the year so there is a ton of time, but I’d imagine some get right to it.

I’ve been back in Lima for almost a month now and I can say I did not miss this place. The majority of people are still idiots, the food is ridiculously greasy as hell, and I still feel like I’m living in the dark ages sometimes with people’s opinions on today’s issues.

On the plus side working at Luxe has been badass, it’s really cool the community theatre is doing RENT, low key mad I wasn’t here to audition but it is what it is, and I am back together with my family which is relatively dope. But why don’t ya’ll tell me everything I’ve missed these past couple of years?

I’m sure the theatre could always use more help somewhere on stage or behind the scenes. You can always talk to Soren. Not too much. Dad has started his campaign of Mayor and that’s coming up soon, so that’s exciting. Otherwise you know, Lima is Lima.

I don’t understand why people feel the need to overshare when they speak to receptionists. If you’re an hour late, you don’t get to just walk in an that’s the rule– I literally don’t care that you’re late because your dog got out almost got hit by a car, Stephanie. Keep it in a kennel when you leave and be on time. It’s not my problem.

I’ve had people be late to get their car fixed for reasons like that. It’s pretty traumatic honestly if your dog gets hit by a car. Usually it’s pretty simple to reschedule an appointment. If she was being an ass about it that’s one story but if she was being nice then I think it’s not that big of a deal.

I can’t believe it’s the middle of January already.  Some years January seems to drag on forever, and now this year…it feels like New Years was just a couple of days ago.  It might be because I find myself thinking of it, maybe. Did anyone make any resolutions?  How are they going?

January honestly feels like it didn’t exist for a hot minute. I used to make resolutions all the time but then stopped when I realized I’m never able to do them. What about you?

After my first week of classes again, I’m glad to say they’re actually pretty interesting; for the most part.  However, while online classes are convenient, they are a little less engaging.  I find myself having to record the sessions and go back and listen again.   Thankful that I joined the musical as well since it’s a good way to shift away from class/study mode.  Anyone else taking classes (online or other wise) this year?

I loved taking online classes when I was able to. Though sometimes I did miss the engaging aspect of being in person. However being able to go back and re-listen to the class has been a blast. Definitely keeping yourself busy with outside of education is important. Are you enjoying the musical rehearsals so far?
