“No offense, but I just don’t think they’ll get me very far.”

“Well I don’t see you coming up with anything”

“That may not be a bad idea.  It could work with some tweaks.”

“See we’re getting somewhere,” he teased. “Failure Scouts for the win.”

“Ditto. We should start planning.”

“Project Make Rich Happy. Hmm..he’s always happy with Winnie, and music, and food, and Bristol.”

“It’ll be like the girls scouts for bad ideas.”

“Exactly. Hey maybe you could write a song about that. People who failed so much they couldn’t even be girl scouts...not that girl scouts don’t do anything.”

“Alright, fine. Can you elaborate on that last one then, please?”

“Sure. So I was thinking, there might be a way for you to enjoy decorating the Valentines Day Dance. You could either sabotage it by turning it into a satire thing.” 

“Our ideas can be bad together.  They can form a club and everything.”

“They can all get underachievement badges too.”

“Alright, fair enough. Haven’t had Chinese in a good while anyway.”

“You call in the order or should I?”

“I appreciate you trying to help, really. I think I just need to get my mind off of that topic for a while though, you know?”

“Alright, then let’s just do something. There’s always something around here to do.”

“Wow, you’re really living on the edge.”

“Oh yeah, I’m a real dangerous soul,” he joked. 

“I’m sure if we teamed up, it wouldn’t be much of a difficult task. Yeah, I mean, it all ends up in the same place anyway.”

“Yes, I’m always up for a good scheme. My thoughts exactly.”

Dear person I like, 

I wish you could see how much I cared about you.

“What about if I used cars as a metaphor?”  She laughed.  “Writer’s block really sucks.”

“That it does. Pfff, and you said my ideas where bad.”

“Eli, you’re great and I love you, but I don’t think any of those ideas are going to work for songs.”

“Hmm..back to the drawing board, then.”
