Inktober 6 You and Me + A Galaxy Far, Far Away

Joey is a scout for the Republic, working an extended survey assignment on the Outer Rim with only her (small) fleet of droids for company.  Meanwhile, a young jedi on a humanitarian mission to a nearby system is sabotaged mid-route and forced to crash-land not far from her makeshift base.  Of course, nothing is coincidence.  They’re not so alone on their planet as they thought.  And Joey and Ethere will have to team up if either of them are going to survive.  

Dum dum dum….

This version of myself, Who started on the streets In another time and place Picking pocketbooks to eat,

By chance or fate or something more Snatched a scroll from one old man About whom it’s said, he could Turn dust to gold, then back again.

An offer that he gave to her If the scroll she would not keep, Instead his lab, a place to live And sleep and work and eat.

A second chance, and she Soon was working to repay, Cleaning up the clutter At the end of every day.

Airship plans and formulas And wings that run on steam Sometimes saving extra pieces -  Left behind impossible things.

Now, inventiveness is catching, And ideas they enthrall, After months of watching him She then built a clockwork doll.

Gears and wire wound up tight, Polished brass to make the shell, The heart a core of crystal From a piece of star that fell.

aka… Inktober 4 aka… we do steampunk.  XP

And totally not just because I wanted an excuse to buy a set of sepia pens.  

Inktober 3/10 Slowly continuing with these Joey and Eth AUs….

Brining you Gold Dust and her pet fox!  They live in the town of Treasure Trove near the coast, and Gold Dust especially is looking forward to colder weather.  More layers means more room to hide whatever items of value she happens to “find” on her morning walks.
