Erwin Smith's approach to romance reflects his character: deliberate, deeply devoted, and quietly intense. Because he carries the weight of humanity's survival on his shoulders, his gestures focus on stolen time, intellectual intimacy, and fierce protection.
Protecting your sleep: Erwin will sit by your bed while you rest, catching up on paperwork by candlelight just to ensure you sleep peacefully.
Canceling non-essential meetings: Giving you his undivided attention is his highest luxury. If he blocks out an hour for you, nothing short of a Titan breach will interrupt it.
Quiet morning tea: Erwin wakes up before dawn to brew tea for two, sharing a rare moment of absolute silence before the day’s chaos begins.
The heavy cloak drape: Erwin will unclip his own Scout regiment cloak and wrap it around your shoulders the moment he notices a chill.
Gently guiding touches: He uses a firm, reassuring hand on the small of your back to guide you through crowded rooms or chaotic headquarters.
Untying your hair: After a long day, Erwin takes immense comfort in the slow, rhythmic task of brushing out your hair to help you unwind.
Sharing his secret library: Giving you access to his private collection of banned historical texts and personal journals is his ultimate act of trust.
Handwritten notes: Erwin leaves brief, elegant letters tucked into your books or coat pockets, detailing a specific thought that reminded him of you.
Asking for your counsel: Erwin asks for your perspective on complex, non-military dilemmas because he deeply values your mind.
Imported luxuries: Erwin uses his connections to quietly procure rare items from the interior, like fine ink, scented soaps, or high-quality tea leaves.
Tailored clothing: Erwin will notice if your uniform or coats do not fit perfectly and arrange for a private tailor to fix them under the guise of "standard inventory updates."

Eren's favorite position is missionary, but not the passive version. He needs to see you—every micro-expression, every flutter of your lashes, every time your mouth falls open when he hits that perfect angle. He'll pin your wrists above your head with one hand, the other gripping your hip hard enough to leave fingerprints. His thrusts are aggressive, almost angry, like he's trying to bury himself so deep inside you that you'll never forget the way he felt.
He likes having you completely accessible, completely open, so he can watch the exact moment you fall apart for him. He gets off on the power, but also on the intimacy—the way your legs wrap around his waist, pulling him closer despite everything.
Armin
Armin prefers positions where you can't see his face—where he doesn't have to maintain eye contact or perform confidence he doesn't feel. Spooning lets him press his chest against your back, wrap his arm around your waist, and bury his face in your hair. He's surprisingly vocal when he thinks you can't see him—soft whimpers, breathy moans that get muffled against your shoulder blade.
His pace starts slow, almost hesitant, but builds into something desperate. He'll slide one hand down your stomach to circle your clit while he fucks you from behind, whispering into your ear about how good you feel, how tight you are, how he's not going to last.
Afterward, he holds you tighter, nuzzles into the nape of your neck, and murmurs gratitude like you've given him something sacred. It's not about dominance with Armin—it's about connection, about being wrapped up in you so completely that the rest of the world ceases to exist.
Connie
Connie is a lazy fuck, but not in a bad way. He just genuinely loves watching you take control. He'll sprawl out on the bed, hands behind his head, grinning up at you like he's won some cosmic lottery. He's a talker—dirty praise falls from his lips constantly. "Fuck, yeah, ride me just like that. You look so good taking what you need."
He likes grabbing your hips to guide your rhythm, occasionally bucking up into you when you slow down too much for his liking. His hands wander—squeezing your thighs, palming your breasts, tracing down your stomach to where you're connected.
Connie's not afraid to be silly in bed, either. He'll make you laugh mid-thrust, then use that moment of distraction to flip you over and take control for a while. But cowgirl is his favorite because he can watch your tits bounce, watch your face contort in pleasure, and reach up to pull you down into lazy, open-mouthed kisses between your moans.
Jean
Jean is dramatic and he knows it. He likes the aesthetic of bending you over the edge of the mattress while he stands behind you—your ass perched perfectly, your back arched, your fingers clutching the sheets. He'll take a moment just to look at you before he does anything, running his palms down your spine, over the curve of your hips.
When he finally pushes inside, it's slow and deliberate. Jean is all about building tension. He'll pull out almost completely before sinking back in, each thrust calculated to drive you insane. He talks shit while he fucks you—"Look at you, taking it so well. Bet you've been thinking about this all day, haven't you?"
He likes the view. Likes seeing his cock disappear into you, likes the way your ass bounces against his hips, likes reaching around to make you come undone before he even thinks about finishing himself. Jean needs to know he's the best you've ever had, and this position lets him prove it.
Niccolo
Niccolo brings chef energy into the bedroom—which means he's patient, methodical, and focused entirely on your pleasure. His favorite position is having you straddle his lap while he sits in a sturdy chair. He likes the intimacy, likes being able to kiss you deeply while you sink down onto his cock.
His hands are always moving—down your back, gripping your ass, guiding your hips. He'll whisper in your ear (that Marleyan accent getting thicker the more worked up he gets) about how beautiful you are, how perfect you feel. He's generous with his hands, too, reaching between your bodies to rub your clit in steady circles while you ride him.
Niccolo likes taking breaks—pausing mid-thrust just to look at you, to tell you something sweet that makes your heart clench, before he starts moving again. He'll finish with his forehead pressed against yours, breath mingling, completely undone by the intimacy of it all.
Reiner
Reiner needs to feel powerful in bed—not because he's dominant by nature, but because he's so fragile everywhere else. Doggy style lets him take control without having to look at your face, without worrying about the vulnerability in his own eyes.
He'll push you flat on your stomach, lift your hips, and enter you in one rough thrust. His pace is punishing from the start—deep, hard strokes that make the headboard bang against the wall. He'll grab handfuls of your ass, spread you open wider, groan filthy things about how good your pussy feels wrapped around his cock.
But here's the catch—Reiner breaks. Midway through, he'll slow down, lean over your back, and wrap his arms around you. He'll bury his face between your shoulder blades and fuck you slow and deep, whispering apologies and confessions into your skin. He needs the dominance to feel strong, but he needs the intimacy to feel human.
Levi
Levi is precise, efficient, and intense. His favorite position is missionary with your legs hitched over his shoulders—he likes the angle, likes being able to drive deep into you while maintaining complete control. His thrusts are sharp and deliberate, each one calculated to hit that spot that makes you see stars.
He doesn't talk much during sex, but his actions speak volumes. The way his fingers dig into your thighs, the way his jaw clenches when you clench around him, the way he keeps his eyes locked on yours the entire time—like he's reading every reaction, cataloging every sound you make.
Levi likes finishing with you completely wrecked—legs trembling, chest heaving, unable to form coherent sentences. He'll clean you up afterward with the same methodical care he applies to everything else (warm cloth, gentle hands, precise movements). He doesn't do cuddling, but he'll let you curl into his side afterward, his hand resting on your hip, thumb tracing absent patterns into your skin.
Erwin
Erwin is dramatic and commanding, and his favorite position reflects that—he needs you pinned, completely at his mercy. He'll lift you up, press your back against the nearest wall, and have you wrap your legs around his waist. The height difference works in his favor; he can look down at you, watch your expression shift from anticipation to desperation.
His thrusts are deep and unhurried—Erwin fucks like he commands, with absolute confidence. He'll kiss you hard, bite your lower lip, whisper command-like praise into your ear. "You're taking me so well. Such a good girl, aren't you?"
He likes how vulnerable you are in this position—completely dependent on him to hold you up, completely exposed. But he also likes the way you cling to him, nails digging into his shoulders, mouth against his throat, whispering his name like a prayer. Erwin doesn't break character easily, but when he comes, he buries his face in your neck and groans your name like it's the only word he remembers.

EREN JAEGER
you fell first, eren fell harder
you would probably fall first for eren mainly because it is impossible to ignore his loud head. but also because of his determination, the passion that he carries for his own freedom and his loved ones, including you, and his fierce personality. you also notice the way he cares about people even when he acts angry or reckless, when others struggle to realise that.
eren would fall harder because once he allows himself to love someone, it becomes something deeply rooted. he isnt just gonna mess around and have fun with you. he’s not someone who forms casual attachments. you would become one of the few people who makes him feel understood and gives him something outside of his endless fight. He’d probably try to push those feelings away because he thinks his path will only hurt them, but that would make the attachment even stronger.
ARMIN ARLERT
armin fell first, you fell harder.
armin would probably fall first because he pays attention to people more closely than most. he would notice all the small things about you, such as the way your expression changes when you are uncomfortable, the topics that make you excited, and the habits you do without even realising. his feelings would develop quietly through long conversations, shared interests, and the comfort he feels whenever you are around.
you would fall harder because armin would make you feel genuinely understood more than anybody else. he would listen to you without judging or interrupting, remember the smallest details you tell him, and always try to see things from your perspective. he may not be the loudest or most confident person in the room, but the emotional safety that he carries and gives you would slowly become something you could not imagine living without. before you even realise it, he would become the first person you want to tell everything to.
MIKASA ACKERMAN
you fell first, mikasa fell harder
you would probably fall first because mikasa can initially be difficult to approach. she isnt the ordinary girl. she is quiet, serious, and rarely shows much emotion around people she does not trust. however, you would notice the softness hidden beneath that distant exterior. you would see how deeply she cares for the people around her, how protective she is of her loved ones, and how her actions always say much more than her words. she NEVER makes empty promises.
mikasa would fall harder because she does not form meaningful attachments easily, but when she does, she holds onto them with everything she has. once she considers you one of her loved people, her love would become incredibly loyal and deeply rooted. she would always notice when something was wrong, remain close during dangerous situations, and make sure you never felt alone even during your toughest times. she might struggle to express her feelings verbally for you, but her devotion to you would be obvious in almost everything she does. she is the "less talk, more work".
LEVI ACKERMAN
you fell first, levi fell harder
kind of similar to mikasa in many ways. you would probably fall first because levi’s softer qualities are hidden beneath his cold, impatient and distant personality. at first, you might simply admire his strength, discipline, and confidence, but eventually you would begin noticing the quiet ways he takes care of people. he would check whether you had eaten, remember exactly how you liked your tea, and silently move closer whenever danger was nearby, ensuring your safety in his own hands.
levi would fall harder because loving someone would be terrifying for him. once again, very similar to mikasa. he has lost almost everyone he has ever cared about, so he would resist becoming emotionally attached to you for as long as possible. he might convince himself that he is only looking out for you because you are part of his squad, but the moment you are seriously injured or placed in danger, he would realise how deeply you matter to him.
once hee accepts his feelings, they would become permanent. he would not be overly affectionate or constantly express his love with words, but you would become part of every decision he makes. he would protect you without treating you as weak, quietly care for you when you are exhausted, and remember details about you that you had forgotten mentioning. losing you would become one of his greatest fears, even if he never admits it aloud.
HANGE ZOË
hange fell first, you fell harder
hange would probably fall first because she is just naturally curious about many topics, and alot of people. she is also fascinated by anything or anyone that she demands interesting. she would initially become drawn to your personality all the most. that includes your funny reactions, and the way your mind works, and your unique interests. hange would constantly look for excuses to speak to you, involve you in any experiments, or drag you into long conversations that somehow continue for hours.
you would fall harder because beneath hange’s chaotic and energetic personality is someone deeply intelligent, compassionate, and emotionally aware. hange would make you feel like your thoughts were important and would never expect you to hide the unusual or complicated parts of yourself. she would bring excitement into your life that you felt was missing, but she would also become unexpectedly comforting during serious moments. her ability to make you laugh even during the darkest situations would eventually make their presence feel essential to you.
SASHA BRAUS
sasha fell first, you fell harder
sasha would probably fall first because she is naturally warm and becomes comfortable around people easily than most. she would begin by wanting to sit beside you during meals, MAYBE sharing food with you despite how protective she usually is of it, and looking for you whenever everyone gathered together. she might not immediately understand that her attachment is romantic, but everyone around her probably would.
you would fall harder because sasha would bring a kind of warmth into your life that is difficult to replace. she would make ordinary moments feel enjoyable with her soft bubbly personality, she would make you laugh when you were struggling, and never make you feel judged for being yourself. behind her humorous personality, she is also incredibly brave, loyal, and caring. you would slowly realise that being around her makes life feel lighter, and the thought of losing that happiness would become unbearable.
JEAN KIRESTCHEIN
jean fell first, jean fell harder
jean would probably fall first because he is much more observant and emotionally sensitive than he likes to appear. he would notice you quickly and become interested in your appearance, personality, or even the way you carry yourself. he would try to impress you while pretending that he does not care what you think, but his jealousy, nervousness, and constant need to be near you would make his feelings painfully obvious.
jean would also fall harder because beneath his sarcastic and argumentative personality, he is genuinely a hopeless romantic. once he becomes serious about you, he would start imagining an actual future together rather than treating the relationship as something temporary or for fun. he would want to become someone dependable enough for you to trust and would constantly push himself to be better.
his love would be protective without being controlling. he would argue with you, tease you, and occasionally become dramatic, but he would also be the person who stays awake when you are upset and refuses to leave until he knows you are okay. jean would love you in a very human and realistic way, including all your flaws rather than some idealised version of you.
CONNIE SPRINGER
connie fell first, you fell harder
connie would probably fall first because your relationship would likely begin through a friendship first. he would enjoy making you laugh, spending time with you, and constantly looking for your reaction whenever he made a joke. at first, he might not understand why your opinion matters to him so much, but eventually he would realise that he wants your attention differently from everyone else’s.
you would fall harder because connie’s affection would feel effortless and sincere. he would make you feel comfortable enough to be completely yourself around him without the need to perform, even during embarrassing or vulnerable moments. he might not always know the perfect thing to say, but he would never allow you to face something difficult alone.
as your feelings might deepen, you would realise that connie is not only funny but also incredibly loyal and emotionally genuine. he would become your best friend as well as your partner, and that closeness would make your attachment to him much stronger than either of you originally expected.
ANNIE LEONHART
you fell first, annie fell harder
you would probably fall first because annie is mysterious and difficult to understand. and something about that really catches your attention. while most people interpret her silence as coldness, you would notice the rare moments when her softer side appears. you would see the kindness she tries to hide, the guilt she carries, and the way she quietly pays attention even when she acts uninterested.
annie would fall harder because allowing herself to love you would require her to lower every wall she has built around herself. she is used to isolation and has convinced herself that becoming attached only creates weakness and pain. because of this, she would deny her feelings for a long time, possibly becoming more distant whenever she realises how much she cares. but once she trusts you, her love and attachment for you would run deep that you would become one of the few whom she would feel completely safe with.
REINER BRAUN
you fell first, reiner fell harder
you would probably fall first because reiner initially appears dependable, protective, and naturally caring. he seems like the perfect manly man. he would help you during training, check on you after difficult missions, and always make sure no one was left behind. his confident older-brother personality would make him feel safe to be around, and you would become attracted to the gentleness beneath his physical strength.
reiner would fall harder because you would eventually become one of the only people who sees him as more than a soldier, warrior, or protector. he carries an overwhelming amount of guilt and confusion, so being loved by someone who understands that he is struggling would affect him deeply. i can also see him becoming kind of dependent/attached or even reliant on the comfort that you give him. you give him the idea that despite everything, he could still make up and be a better human.
BERTHOLDT HOOVER
bertholdt fell first, bertholdt fell harder
bertholdt would probably fall first because he is in many ways similar to armin (ironic), quiet and observant. while other people are speaking, he is usually watching and noticing details, so he would become familiar with your habits before the two of you were even particularly close. his feelings would develop through small conversations, maybe shared silences, and the comfort he feels when you treat him kindly without demanding that he become more outgoing.
bertholdt would fall harder because he feels much more intensely than he allows others to see. he would spend a long time admiring you from a distance, convinced that his feelings are either inappropriate or impossible. he would struggle to confess because he fears rejection and believes his circumstances will eventually hurt you. if you return those feelings, you’d be the most precious thing to him. his love for you would not be overwhelming but rather constant.
MARCO BODT
marco fell first, you fell harder
marco would probably fall first because he naturally looks for the good in people. he would notice your strengths, including the ones you struggle to see in yourself, and would quickly become drawn to your personality. his feelings would likely begin through friendship, with him constantly encouraging you and making sure you felt included.
you would fall harder because marco would make you feel valued without expecting anything in return. he would listen carefully, recognise when you were pretending to be okay, and always speak to you with patience and respect. his kindness would never feel forced or performative; it would simply be part of who he is.
ERWIN SMITH
you fell first, erwin fell harder
you would probably fall first because erwin has a powerful presence that is difficult to ignore. his intelligence, confidence, leadership, and ability to remain composed during terrifying situations would naturally draw you toward him. however, you would also become interested in the more human side he keeps hidden beneath his role as commander.
erwin would fall harder because he would resist loving you more than almost anyone else. his life is dominated by his mission, responsibilities, and willingness to sacrifice everything for his goals. becoming emotionally attached to you would create something he could not easily treat as another calculated risk.
at first, he would maintain distance and convince himself that pursuing you would be selfish. however, the more you understand and accept him, the harder it would become for him to keep you outside his walls. you would become one of the only people who sees erwin as a man rather than simply a commander. if he allows himself to love, he would take it very seriously. he wouldn’t enter a relationship for fun or make any empty promises. you would become both his greatest comfort and his most painful vulnerability. the person who reminds him that there is still a life he might have wanted beyond his mission.
He is slow, deliberate and passionate in all aspects of your relationship and that extends to kissing as well. He takes his time, keeps you dizzy with desire by ghosting his lips over yours, letting his tongue slowly curl past your teeth and tangling with your tongue. He dominants the pace and action without being aggressive, Erwin simply radiates control and you can’t help but to give it over to him.
He loves to kiss your chest, to worship the soft mounds of your breasts and suck little marks into the skin until he’s trailed all the way down your abdomen.
Erwin isn’t overly possessive, but he does like how the marks he leaves are a sign of who you belong to. In the same vein, he really likes it when you get carried away and leave bruises on his neck and throat, the ones he can’t find beneath the collar of his shirt.
I imagine that it’s pretty thrilling to him to be caught kissing you in places he shouldn’t. The corridor outside his office door, against the red brickwork of his favourite coffee shop, but even then he takes his time until you’re fisting his shirt in urgency.
“Now now, my little dove, have some patience… your lips are too precious to be rushed.”
The feelings of abandonment overtook your body and any little sound of the house creaking gave you PTSD. Memories flooded back from college and you would hyperventilate from an anxiety attack. Your heart is pounding against your rib cage as you feel your internal demons take over. The human mind can be so cruel. Especially since you have experienced immense amounts of trauma within a short time span.
You tossed and turned, missing the feeling of being held in your captors arms. You would never admit it aloud, but you enjoyed the warmth of Katsuki’s body at night. The way he held you so close to his muscular form, his light snores in your ear were little lullabies you have gotten used to, and his natural fast heartbeat that pounded into your spine seemed to scare away the night terrors. He is your personal monster and bodyguard all in one. You missed it. You missed him.
You should not miss this man, though. What is there to miss? The physical and mental abuse? Treating you like a dog? Doing disgusting things against your will? You had to swallow his semen that is now digesting in your stomach. There is nothing to crave about this terrible monster yet here you are, sobbing over him. You feel beyond pathetic. How can you ever love him? Is this love your even feeling or is it deprivation from humanity? Katsuki drove everyone away. You have been deprived of normal human interaction for months upon months. You are that crazy woman. You were deemed as sick by the people of Japan. No one wanted to have anything to do with you. Why would they? You are crazy and it’s all because of Katsuki Bakugo.
Your hatred for Katsuki grew. You would hope it would scare away your internal incubuses, but it only made them grow larger in size. You are missing Katsuki. You know you are, but you keep denying this realization. You only miss what he has stolen from you. When you think of him, you only see red. You see anger and evil. Sadly, though, you also see a speck of light. A light that you crave to obtain. Is it even possible to hold? Is it all a figurative of your imagination?
You are going insane.
No, you are insane.
You grabbed to the ends of your hair, pulling on them as you wanted something to distract you from your lingering thoughts. You feel so sad, confused, and alone. Your head pounds as you deteriorate from within.
The night seems to drag on. The shadows on the wall seemed larger than life. Was it actually a shadow from the wilderness or was it actual creatures here to harm you? You put your head under the covers, hoping this room, this life, this hell would just vanish once you opened your eyes. Sadly, that wish never came true.
You finally cried yourself into a coma like slumber. You have no recollection of falling asleep, but you awoke to the sun illuminating your room. The house is still vacant. This sends anxiety running through your veins. Your heartbeat picked up as sweat droplets formed on your forehead.
“Katsuki?” You called out with a hoarse voice. The house remained still and no sound was heard.
“Katsuki,” you swallowed, tears falling forming in your tired eyes, “are you home?”
Silence overwhelmed your ears. You began to shake. He has to be home. He just has to be. You missed it. Yeah, that’s it. He is just resting in the master bedroom. Being a hero is hard. He must be exhausted and left you to rest. He would never leave you unsupervised this long, right? That would be quite foolish on Katsuki’s part and Katsuki is not a foolish guy. Nothing bad could have happened to him. He is home right where he needs to be.
Right?
You calmed your nerves as you awaited for your captor to arrive. Hours passed, your stomach grumbled and you really have to use the bathroom. Where is Katsuki? Has he forgotten all about you? Is he okay? No, you don’t care if he is alright. He is an abuser. Why do you care if he is alright? You should be worried about escaping.
Placing your bare feet onto the floor, you gain the courage to stand on wobbly legs. All your crying throughout the night has left you feeling weak and vulnerable. All you wanted now was Katsuki to take care of you.
Your bruised ankle was still not stable enough to support your weight so when the shackle tightened on your opposite ankle, you fell.
“Fuck,” you seethed in frustration. You did not even have the energy to attempt to get up. The bed felt too cold and empty. The mattress was way smaller than the one you slept in with Katsuki yet it felt humongous. You rather lay here and sulk in your own misery.
“Katsuki, come home..” You whimper into the darkness.
Meanwhile, Tokyo is still in hysterics. Pesky nomu’s have taken over the city and Katsuki could not be more annoyed right now. The fact these creatures are still manufactured by villains irritated Katsuki even further. He should be lying next to you, keeping you close, but instead he is here, dealing with bullshit. He has not had a break since last night and his body along with his judgement is getting hazy.
Just a little longer, Katsuki. You’re doing great.
Cursing under his breath, Katsuki waits for the perfect moment to attack. He already has his sidekicks taking the civilians to safety and working on bringing all the Nomu’s together. Katsuki is still a narcissist at heart. Just the thought of his interns or any other pro-hero getting the recognition he feels he deserves is making his adrenaline run. He is the hero. They are just some sidekicks or pros who can never dream of surpassing him. That’s why they will do his dirty work while he blasts the villains to ash.
Katsuki walks out from the dark alleyway to sneak attack the villain. Once he is in close range and sure it’s safe, he uses all the sweat he built up running to Tokyo for a huge explosion.
“It’s time to put an end to this!” Katsuki shouts as he faces his open palm towards the pavement and uses his quirk. Screams could be heard as flames and smoke filled the city. The Nomu was engulfed in flames. Katsuki is sent flying through the air, the massive blast sending him backwards. Though he has control of his quirk by now, explosions like that still are not so easy to maneuver.
Katsuki was so much in his head that he did not realize the direction his body was thrown. Ego has always been Katsuki’s weakness. Though he has grown a lot since his teen years, Katsuki needs to still work on his priorities as a hero. Numbers should not matter. Competition should be the last thing on his mind. It should be saving people.
Katsuki thought his plan was more thought out than this, but hitting a tall building with a hard thud put things more into perspective.
Katsuki’s exhausted body lay in a bed of rubble and ash. It drew more attention to him than he would prefer in this state, but nothing he can do about it as news channels and paparazzi filmed his body. Blood stained his natural blonde hair from the hard blow to the head and trickled down his nose. He slowly opened his red orbs. They adjusted to his surroundings. A shadow approached him through the smoke. The Pro-Hero, who goes by his legal name, Shoto Todoroki, rushed to his colleague’s aide.
“Are you alright?” The hero asks. Katsuki’s annoyance grew as the pain from his head subsided.
Ever since high school, Katsuki never liked Shoto. Especially since the annual Sports Festival when Shoto embarrassed him. Granted, Katsuki did win, but Shoto did not put all of his effort into beating Katsuki and that damaged Katsuki’s pride. If Katsuki is going to beat someone they better bring their all. Otherwise it’s just a waste of Katsuki’s time and true talents.
Shoto reached out his hand to help Katsuki up, but Katsuki just huffed profanities and swatted Shoto’s helping hand away.
“I don’t need your stupid help, Icy-Hot bastard!” Katsuki bellowed as he attempted to stand up. Grunts of pain escaped his lips as he stumbled, his right hand touched the back of his head. Katsuki’s eyes widen to see blood.
“You’re bleeding.” Shoto obviously stated. Katsuki glared at him.
“What the hell are you doing here anyways? I can handle this shit myself.” Katsuki grumbles as he is still finding strength to stand without landing on his knees. Katsuki’s body is not as young as it used to be. His recovery time is not near as quick as he would like it to be.
“I received a call that Nomu’s have taken over Tokyo. I arrived as fast as I could with my sidekicks to assist.” Shoto explains, closely watching Katsuki. Shoto is aware of Katsuki’s dislike for him. They were classmates all throughout high school and even though they make a good team, Katsuki has always been one to deny help of any kind. All the pro-heroes know this about him.
Shoto is not one to care about petty drama, though. His main priority is being a good hero. He has not worked much with Katsuki over the years, but when he does, Katsuki is sure to remind Shoto on why they will never be equal in his eyes.
“Well you are wasting your time. Get the hell out of here.” Katsuki persists, coughing into his arm. Shoto shook his head as Katsuki stumbled, falling over, but Shoto caught him before he hit the ground. Blood covered Shoto’s arm as he held Katsuki.
“You need medical attention.” Shoto sighed as Katsuki began to fade out of consciousness.
“Damn you, Icy-Hot,” Katsuki coughs as his eyes close and his body goes limp. There goes Katsuki’s moment.
“Dynamight is unconscious! Someone get him to a medical professional!” Shoto calls out to some sidekicks and policemen nearby. Rushing to Katsuki’s aide, Shoto handed the man over to the sidekicks. An ambulance rushed over to the hero as well as news reporters and paparazzi who were nearby.
“Move!” The paramedics demanded as they rushed through the crowd of reporters to help the hero. They check his pulse to see if he is still breathing.
“He is still alive, but his breathing is faint. We need to get him to the nearest hospital ASAP!” The male paramedic stated. The sidekicks helped him put Katsuki onto the stretcher and rolled him to the ambulance. The reporters are going crazy as they now have a breaking story to share with the public.
“We just got word that the pro-hero known as Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight is unconscious and being rushed to the nearest hospital.”
“Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight is deemed unconscious and heading to the nearest hospital.”
“Villains known as Nomu’s are still taking over the streets of downtown Tokyo. Police have called for more back up as the Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight is now unconscious. Could this be the end of his hero career?”
A news station, known as News 4, helicopter that has been watching over the destruction of Tokyo. It changes focus and closely follows the ambulance that is hauling Katsuki’s body. “Reporting live from the sky, we are following the ambulance that is carrying the Pro-Hero Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight to the hospital. He was knocked unconscious after he attacked a Nomu and hit a brick building. He is still breathing, but unresponsive. Back to you, Asako.”
“Thank you, Numa. Tokyo is still in shambles as more Nomu’s are attacking the city. Dynamight’s attack has drawn more to Tokyo and caused more destruction. Other Pro-Hero’s have been called to the scene. The number one hero, Deku, has arrived and will take care of what Dynamight could not finish. We will keep you updated as soon as we receive more information.”
The paramedics did their best to stop Katsuki’s bleeding. His wound was dirty from the debris and needed a thorough cleaning. One paramedic cleansed Katsuki’s wound while the other kept him alive.
“C’mon, Dynamight. Stay with me.”
Katsuki’s pulse is rapidly dropping and there is worry he will not wake up. Katsuki would prefer not waking up after reading what the headlines say about him and his performance out there.
Stupid actions have stupid consequences, Katsuki.
“His oxygen levels are dropping!” The male paramedic exclaimed in distress. “We can’t have him go into cardiac arrest. Get the oxygen mask.” The male demanded. The female paramedic followed his orders since she was closest.
“He has lost a lot of blood. He hurt more than his head in the accident.” She sighed as she handed the mask to the male. He placed it on Katsuki’s face, hoping it would help him breathe.
“I know. He will more than likely need a blood transfusion. We have to keep him stable until we get him to the hospital.”
The paramedics watched as Katsuki’s levels rose and dropped. Their hearts raced as they had a very important person’s life in their hands. Of course, every life matters and is treated with the same amount of respect, but this man saves lives. He is a hero just like them. There are kids at home who idolize him. He has a family who loves him. Maybe even a special lady. The paramedics have a lot of pressure to keep Katsuki alive and that’s what they are going to do.

-You and Mob decided to go to the local fair this year because It seemed like a good idea for a first date.
-You would immediately tug him around to go on the cool rides they had, pointing and nudging Mob in excitement the further you got. Shigeo is still a bit scared of really big rides though, so expect him to be very nervous If you try to get him to ride one that’s super tall, or something that could make him too queasy.
-But as soon as he feels you reach for his hand, giving it a slight reassurance squeeze while smiling straight ahead, he definitely feels a million times better.
Shigeo Kageyama x Gn! Reader (whose also an esper because yes always)
You’re literally the most popular person in school, well aside from tsubomi
Plus, you and mob were also childhood friends, only difference is that you and takane stayed friends
I mean how could u not be friends with tsubomi? You both understood each other and you two being aware of mobs crush on you
Well takane was worried about someone who you both still considered a distant friend misunderstanding you
If you understand tsubomi then yk what I’m yapping about
It’s difficult being popular, basically everyone has a crush on you, either for your looks or intellect
I mean it gets exhausting
Mob had liked you ever since.. well basically forever
I mean ritsu and reigen were well aware and to be honest… they really doubted you liked him back 😭
It really be your own people
Yk they still encouraged him to confess even tho it’d probably cause mob to reach “???” -
But surprisingly you were the one to bring it up, I mean mob was waiting with an umbrella just to see if the rain would let up at school
This was the perfect opportunity
I mean, others who were on cleaning duty were on the other floors and those who were here for after school clubs weren’t anywhere near
Do you decided to approach mob
You tapped his shoulder right and when he looked into see who it was you quickly went the other way to surprise him
He was, of course without a doubt, was shocked
He wasn’t the only one because he had two little stalkers
Ritsu and dimple 😭😭
When you confessed, dimple thought it was cool you approached mob
And ristu? He always liked you, you were nice but he was about to lose his mind if you were just playing with his older brother because he was quiet and impressionable
But no
You smiled at mob and asked if he liked you- which if mobs, dimples and ritsus jaws weren’t already all the way down to hell, well they were already
Mob felt himself losing a grip on his powers and the blush on his face wasn’t helping
Before he could turn away you gripped onto his hand and demanded he answered
Meanwhile dimple was biting his imaginary finger nails on what could happen and ritsu was also concerned on his brothers possible reaction
Before anyone could think another thing you blurted it out before anyone could process
“I asked because I like you mob”
I’m surprised mob didn’t explosion till this day
The urge to draw dimple and ritsu in this scenario
Anyway
After the two of you start dating and many risky situations you begin letting everyone know
I mean the first day mob was so nervous on letting everyone know and walking in holding hands but once you convinced him he did it
And people… they weren’t happy 😭😭
I mean their definition of royalty was walking around with some rando and as time went on they tried their best to tolerate it
Honestly ritsu and dimple probably had to pull some stunts to not have mob being brutally bullied every waking hour-
Anyway, when mob lets reigen know he openly congratulates him but secretly wonders how 😭
And when he tells the body improvement club they congratulate so much it’s honestly nice
Of course the telepathy club also congratulates him but they question him a bit-
It was tome 😭
She even asked mob to ask u if you’d be interested in in joining and sweet sweet mob mentioned it in passing
He also mentioned to you how he joined the body improvement club as motivation to confess to you first 😭😭
It’s so sweet and his red face gets even redder when you smile and hug him
(ФωФ): HELP MOB PERSON I ALSO DELETED YOUR ASK ON ACCIDENT I HOPE YOU SEE THIS😭😭😭😭

Most people assumed you had no interest in school. Your uniform was always disheveled, the skirt too short or the sleeves rolled up past your elbows. You showed up late more often than not, and when you did, there was always the lingering scent of cigarettes on your jacket—not because you smoked, but because you hung out with people who did. People avoided you. They whispered about you in the halls, talked about how you had been in fights before, how you never backed down from anyone.
You never bothered to correct them.
But there was one person who never seemed to listen to rumors, never looked at you like you were trouble. Shigeo Kageyama. He was the complete opposite of you—quiet, unassuming, gentle in a way that you didn’t think people could still be. But even though you barely spoke, even though you were just another presence in his periphery, you liked him. More than liked him.
And that was your biggest secret.
You and Mob weren’t exactly close. You weren’t sure if you could even call him a friend, but there were moments—small, fleeting ones—that made you feel like maybe you were.
Like the times he would hold the door open for you without hesitation, despite how other students made a point to avoid you. Or when he’d offer you an extra carton of milk from the school store, because “I thought you might be hungry.” Or how, when he saw the bruises on your knuckles after a fight, he didn’t ask if you won or lost—he only asked if you were okay.
You weren’t. But you told him you were.
It wasn’t like you got into fights just because. Sometimes, people just needed to be put in their place. But when Mob looked at you, you could tell he didn’t see a ‘delinquent’ or a ‘problem child.’ He just saw you. And that scared you more than anything else.
It was after school when things changed.
You had stayed behind to kill time, sitting on the rooftop with your back against the railing, legs stretched out in front of you. The wind tugged at your clothes, the sky shifting to hues of orange and pink. You should have gone home. Instead, you pulled out your lighter, flicking it open and closed absentmindedly.
“You’ll get in trouble if a teacher sees you.”
You tensed. You hadn’t even heard him approach. When you turned, Mob was standing near the door, watching you with that ever-neutral expression of his.
You scoffed. “What are you, my mom?”
He blinked, tilting his head slightly. “No.”
You sighed, shoving the lighter back into your pocket. “Don’t you have a part-time job or something?”
“I do.”
“…Then why are you still here?”
He hesitated for a moment before stepping closer, his hands tucked neatly into his pockets. “I saw you up here,” he said simply. “You seemed upset.”
Your stomach did something weird—something you refused to acknowledge.
“I’m not upset,” you muttered, crossing your arms. “Just… thinking.”
He nodded. He didn’t push, and..you weren’t used to that.
“…Why do you talk to me?” The words left your mouth before you could stop them.
Mob’s expression didn’t change. He sat down next to you, leaving a comfortable amount of space between you. “Because we’re friends.”
You stared at him. “We don’t even talk that much.”
“That doesn’t mean we aren’t friends,” he said simply. “I like being around you.”
Your heart stuttered..mob wasn’t the kind of guy to say things he didn’t mean.
You turned away, gripping the fabric of your skirt tightly. “…You’re weird.”
“I get that a lot.”
For the first time in a long time, you laughed. And Mob—expression still calm, still unreadable—smiled just a little.
It wasn’t sudden. It wasn’t dramatic. There was no grand confession, no heart-pounding realization that you liked Shigeo Kageyama. It was slow, creeping up on you like an afterthought—something you had always known but never dared to say out loud.
It was in the way he treated you like you weren’t some delinquent, like you weren’t a walking rumor. How he never flinched at the sharpness in your voice, how he listened to you when no one else bothered.
You liked him.
And that was terrifying.
One day, after a particularly bad morning, you stormed out of class before the bell even rang, heading straight for the back of the gym. The air was crisp, the afternoon sun beating down on you, but it did nothing to cool the heat simmering in your chest.
You were so sick of it. The snide remarks, the whispers behind your back, the way teachers assumed the worst of you without even bothering to ask.
You were still stewing in your anger when you heard footsteps behind you.
Mob.
You didn’t need to look to know it was him.
“You’re mad,” he said.
You scoffed. “No shit.”
Mob didn’t respond right away. He just sat down next to you, hands tucked neatly in his lap, as if this was the most natural thing in the world.
For a while, neither of you spoke.
Then, finally—
“You shouldn’t let them get to you.”
You turned your head, glaring at him. “Easy for you to say.”
Mob blinked. “Not really.”
You frowned. “What do you mean?”
“I get upset too,” he said, staring straight ahead. “I just don’t always show it.”
That was the thing about him—he never reacted the way you expected. People like Mob weren’t supposed to understand people like you. He was supposed to be too good, too pure, too far removed from the kind of anger that sat in your bones like an old wound.
And yet, somehow, he always knew exactly what to say.
“…So what do you do?” you asked, quieter this time.
Mob glanced down at his hands. “I remind myself that what they say doesn’t define me.”
You scoffed, shaking your head. “Yeah, well, I’m not like you.”
“I know.”
You turned to him, eyes narrowing. “Then why do you always act like I am?”
Mob blinked at you, head tilting slightly. “Because I think you’re a good person.”
Your breath caught.
“You act tough,” he continued, his voice calm, steady. “But you care about people. You always stand up for others, even if it gets you into trouble. That’s a good thing.”
Something inside you twisted, your fingers curled around the fabric of your skirt, gripping it so tightly your knuckles went white. You didn’t know how to respond to that.
“…Shut up, Mob.”
He nodded, completely unbothered, and you groaned, burying your face in your hands. “Why do you say stuff like that so easily?”
“Because it’s true.”
You let out a strangled laugh, shaking your head. “You’re impossible.”
Mob didn’t say anything, just continued to sit beside you, quiet and patient as ever.
And that was when it hit you—really, actually hit you.
You liked him.
Not in some vague, faraway sense. Not in a way that you could brush off as admiration or friendship.
You liked him.
And you had no idea what to do about it.
For weeks, you avoided saying anything.
Not because you didn’t want to, but because you didn’t know how. Mob wasn’t like other guys—he didn’t play games, didn’t flirt, didn’t say things just to fill the silence. If you confessed, there would be no taking it back.
And that scared the hell out of you.
But in the end, it wasn’t some grand, dramatic moment that pushed you to do it.
It was just him.
Standing in front of you after school, his gaze as steady as ever, waiting for you to say something.
So you did.
“I like you, Mob.”
His eyes widened slightly, the only sign of surprise he gave.
For a long moment, he just looked at you, expression unreadable. Your stomach twisted. Maybe you had ruined it. Maybe you should’ve kept your mouth shut—
“…I like you, too.”
Your heart stopped.
“…What?”
Mob blinked. “I like you, too.”
Your mouth opened. Then closed. Then opened again. “Oh.”
A small, barely noticeable smile tugged at the corners of his lips. “Is that okay?”
You let out a breathless laugh, shaking your head. “Yeah. Yeah, that’s… really okay.”
And when he reached for your hand, you didn’t pull away.
The rest of the week played on loop. A tension lingered in the air you cannot seem to ignore no matter how hard you try. Katsuki, on the other hand, is not addressing anything when it comes to your lack of sexual affairs. Your attempts to get closer were denied as always. Not necessarily because Katsuki didn’t want them. No, if anything, he craved it. Just like you. Katsuki is just good at hiding his selfish desires. Especially since the whole shower incident.
Why can’t your lips seem to connect? They felt like constant magnets, inching closer and closer yet as they brushed one another, Katsuki pulled away. Every single time. What is worse is the moment keeps playing on loop. You have another shot every time he removes your collar to shower, his hungry eyes scanning your exposed body as he loosens the shock device. The lust and desire that filled you both — as much as you hate to admit it — with watching ticking second all for Katsuki to discard the moment. You are always left alone while Katsuki mentally panics inside your shared room, but for those moments, Katsuki is vulnerable. He isn’t angry or annoyed. He is seeing you.
Why do you long for his calloused touch while he is away? Is that where your hatred is deep rooted? You are supposed to hate him for the terrible things he has done yet you find yourself willingly running to his beckon call. You do not have much of an option, but nothing can silence the skip of your heart when he speaks your name. The way you smile as he acknowledges your presence.
Damn, you really are broken.
Katsuki is gone to work once again. You find yourself alone, frustrated and filled with non-amusement. “He is always away,” you grumble aloud in the vacant house. “Leaving me all alone with nothing to do.”
Katsuki will argue you have plenty to do. In fact, you had that argument a couple nights ago.
“Katsuki?” You began as you dabbed your face with a napkin. You just finished eating delicious Oyakodon that Katsuki made. He always makes extraordinary cuisine.
Katsuki raised an eyebrow, swallowing his food as he gazed at you. You usually don’t speak at supper since Katsuki just tells you ‘shut up and finish your food.’
“Can I have a cellphone? Or a Nintendo switch?” You asked, tugging at the hem of your t-shirt. Katsuki chuckled in his typical condescending way.
“Why the hell do you want a cellphone?” Katsuki rhetorically asked, placing a piece of Oyakodon in his salivating mouth, chewing the food and swallowing. He directs one of the chopsticks in your direction, “you have plenty of entertainment here.”
“But I’m bored. I’ve watched all the shows you have approved of multiple times.” You protested, crossing your arms and huffing. This boldness comes every once in a blue moon and it loves to test Katsuki on the worst of occasions.
“Lose the ‘tude; Y/N. This isn’t going to help you get a phone or that switch shit.”
“You weren’t going to give it to me anyways.” You grumble, rolling your eyes. A hard slap across your face brought you back down to size. Your chin is now in Katsuki’s tight grip as you start to whimper. He loves the view.
“I said lose the fucking ‘tude, brat. Do you think this moping shit is going to get your spoiled ass those things?” Katsuki interrogated. You shake your head no. He continues his lecture. “I should fucking punish you for asking me such stupid questions and being an ungrateful bitch, but I’m being fuckin’ nice. Don’t push your God damn luck.” Katsuki spats, his grip getting tighter with each word produced. His eyes send venom into your irises.
“I-I’m sorry, K-Katsuki.” You cry, used to saying this phrase everyday.
“Better be. Don’t test me for the rest of the damn night.”
You did not ask for those items again. Your cheek still stinged two days later as you sat on the couch. His handprint left a mark that would not go away it felt. Even when Katsuki isn’t intentionally being rough, he still is. Tonight, you decided to try again.
You both are laying in bed, cuddling. The sound of Katsuki’s natural gruff heartbeat began to soothe itself as he slowly slipped into slumber. You decided to ask the question you have been wanting to know for awhile.
“Can I go back to school?” You mumbled, almost begging that Katsuki did not hear you, but his piercing rubies peeled open to glare down at you.
“What did I say about asking me stupid fucking questions? No, you can’t go back to school.” Katsuki huffed, an annoyed scowl smeared on his beautiful features.
“But I’m bor—“
“Let me guess, you’re fucking bored, right?” Katsuki scornfully chuckled, rubbing his temples as he cut you off. His patience and trust has been more thin than normal since the press conference. You are not aware since Katsuki does not let you view news outlets nor does he discuss his emotions.
“I-I have a p-promising f-future, y’know?” You began, snuggling your face into his bulk chest as tears spilled. “I-I want to h-help change t-the world.”
Katsuki is doing his best to control his anger. His heavy heart picks up rhythm against your eardrum. Your body wants to panic. He wants to hit you, badly, until you are black and blue for even considering leaving him. You looked so beautiful that way. Seeing you so broken physically and emotionally for him is a gorgeous sight. Lucky for you, he is too tired and he will not get to enjoy his sick desires this way. Does not mean you are safe from verbal abuse, though.
“The world doesn’t need you, Y/N.” Katsuki stated, feeling your warm rivers on his bare skin. Your heart broke at the sound of his harsh words. “The world needs heroes like me. Quirkless wannabes — like you — are nothing but a nuisance in our damn way.”
The little girl in you sobbed hysterically, but the emotions would not reciprocate on the outside. You begin to shake as Katsuki softly pats your head. Those dreams of changing the world have been shattered for a long period of time now yet Katsuki’s words stung more than expected.
You gaze up at him with glossy eyes. If your vision was not blurred, you could have sworn you witnessed a satisfied smirk on his soft lips.
“D-Do y-you really mean that?” You dared question, your voice fragile and small.
“I do.” Katsuki shrugged, feeling giddy as he watched more tears fall. All because of him.
The sobs are more than just faded dreams. No, they are much more. Those promises you made to yourself dissolved into thin air. “I am going to escape Katsuki,” you told yourself everyday in the mirror while he worked, but each time, your breath hitched. The hatred you wanted so bad to hold for him slowly became empty words. You don’t know who you are anymore. You do not even have control of your own thoughts.
You are his.
“There, there.” Katsuki comforted as you snuggled into his chest, begging for some sort of relief from this anguish. The warmth of his body brought upon temporary peace like a baby needing to be swaddled. “You’re nothing in your old life. That’s why I have to keep you safe.” Katsuki explained, nonchalantly.
“Am I somebody to you?” You finally choked out once Katsuki’s heart rate went back to normal.
Katsuki didn’t know how to answer this question. Obviously, he is putting his whole pro-hero career on the line for you, he shelters you from this cruel world, and when you fall asleep on his chest every night, he grumbles an ‘I love you’ or two that you will never hear while conscious. He can’t say it. He doesn’t know how.
“Just go to sleep, dumbass.”
Doing as you are directed, you cradle yourself into Katsuki’s rough yet tender touch. You are so small, so shattered, and aching to get even more near Katsuki. You cannot be any closer no matter how you try. You are just grateful for his presence since you are nothing more than a bother. You are nothing and now you must prove you are somebody. This is now your mission. Forget escaping Katsuki. He is the only one to accept you and your quirkless qualities.

The media was left with many unanswered questions that day. Katsuki stormed off the podium and into the building with his team right behind him. He can practically hear Leiko seething with each heavy footstep she takes beside him. Her heels seemed to echo the loudest amongst the shouting.
Once Katsuki and Leiko were in the elevator alone, Leiko decided to let him have it. Well, until Katsuki decided to go first.
“I can fucking hear you grinding your teeth.” Katsuki commented, keeping his focus locked on the pure golden doors.
“What the hell was that, Katsuki?” She spat, her arms in the air. “That was not on script at all! You went out there and really showed your ass. You have done more damage than good! You have absolutely no evidence if this girl is alive or not and you went and told the press she’s dead?”
Katsuki glared at her. “We had an issue. I fixed it. The press is going to spin this anyway they want to regardless of what I say and what I don’t. If anything, you,” he pokes her collarbone with his index finger, “should be thanking me for even doing the damn thing anyways.”
“Thanking you?” Leiko scoffed. The elevator doors open and Katsuki was the first to head straight to his office. Leiko waited to finish her lecture once his office doors shut behind them. If she dared raise her voice in front of her peers, she would be fired on the spot. She has seen it happen to others more than once.
Katsuki made himself comfortable in his office chair, overlooking reports that laid neatly on his desk. Leiko strolled over to him, not pleased with his lack of interest for their conversation.
“If anything, you made it worse, Katsuki.” Leiko sighed.
“Ha, worse? The girl is a lost cause. She probably ran away to start a new life or some shit. I have more important things to do than chase after a runaway,” he finally meets her eyes, still only giving some of his attention, “furthermore, I don’t get why the media is so upset about this. People go missing all the time.”
Leiko grabbed the bridge of her nose, shaking her head.
“No. You don’t understand. She specifically asked for our help and we didn’t give it to her. This isn’t the first time this has happened. Your injury in Tokyo didn’t help either. Lives were lost that day. This is hurting your career and guess what? If your career goes down, so does everyone else. Do you ever think of anyone but your damn self?”
“Are you calling me fucking selfish?” Katsuki snapped, clicking his tongue. His ego is getting the best of him once again. “Because if you want me to be selfish, I can show your ungrateful ass selfish.”
“No, I want you to find the missing girl and save your career, Katsuki.” Leiko corrected, placing her palms on his desk, “our career.”
Katsuki analyzed her tenseness. He knew she had a point, but will he ever admit that? Of course not. He is the CEO of this company. Leiko is employed by him. She doesn’t understand the full situation and she never will. He is keeping everyone safe this way.
“You are dismissed.” Katsuki states while flicking his hand. Leiko let out a deep exhale, following the boss’ orders.
Katsuki’s eyes traveled to the monitor screen that he usually observed you on. Pulling up the security footage, he let out a satisfied sigh to see you still sitting on the couch, bored and watching television.
“Such a good little girl.” He chuckled yet his rubies turned dark at the news article that popped up on the other monitor screen.
“Pro-Hero King Explosion Murder God Dynamite has confirmed the death of missing college student, Y/N Y/L/N.”
Katsuki proceeded to read the article, not pleased with the way they portrayed him and his hero abilities. He is more angry at the mentions of your name and picture. No one should be able to see you but him. He had to look away. He is getting angrier by the second.
“I don’t give a fuck what Leiko or anyone says. I do this for you, Y/N. No one in this cruel world can have you. No one.”
Katsuki came home late that night. Not that you cared, — at least that is what you tell yourself — but you were curious of his whereabouts. It was not like him to be off of routine. Katsuki usually lets you know in advance if there is a possibility of him being home late. Maybe to keep you in line? Or for you to get back in line before he arrived home.
Thoughts from past trauma lingered. Your stomach did flips. Your hatred for Katsuki has subsided temporarily so you can put on the act accordingly. If you are ever going to break free from the metaphorical chains Katsuki keeps around you, this is what you have to do.
The door unlocking sent shivers dancing down your spine. Do you want to run and hide? Yes. How could you not? Yet, your pupils are attracted to the door. As soon as he enters the home, his eyes travel straight to you then back to elsewhere. You could feel a pinch in your heart. Why isn’t he looking at you? Does he not want to see you? You want him to look at you. God, just look at you.
Wait, Y/N. You hate him, remember? This is all an act.
Right?
Honestly, Katsuki was a bit flustered by your words from earlier. He has already released his emotions from today’s press conference on some pesky villains. Now he has to deal with the other issues at hand.
Of course, he loves you. He may be insane in more ways than one, but he does hold some self awareness. He is putting his career on the line to keep you safe yet when he finally hears the three little words he dreamed of, his mind goes blank. He does not know how to handle someone feeling this emotion towards him. He was ready to forgive you and move forward in his own way. Now, he doesn’t want to even make eye contact with you.
Katsuki jogs up the stairs, placing his work equipment in their rightful place. He undressed himself into a pair of gray sweatpants and a black v-neck t-shirt. He contemplated going back downstairs or not. He needs to make you dinner and he does want to see you. He feels like he hasn’t seen you in decades. Though, he thought about ripping you to shreds for giving him a swarm of butterflies. He swore they migrated for the winter that settled between you two, but the words. Three simple words made them come back.
Why can’t he say it back? He can repeat it over and over again when you are knocked out cold. He loved it when you are silent, unconscious to hear his dark twisted thoughts. You are not there to push him away, play with his emotions, and make him feel like shit for being attracted to you. He can be his real self around you. Not the cold hearted bastard you make him be.
Katsuki walked down the stairs and straight into the kitchen. He was a bit wired from the anxiety that settled within him as usual. He wondered why he did not hear the light taps of your feet make their way towards him. Where were the numerous questions about his day? Where was the running towards him for attention? You wanted it for days and now you don’t? Why are you rejecting him? Katsuki should show you a thing or two about what happens when he is rejected.
Sighing, Katsuki finished cooking the meal for you two to enjoy. Placing the Oyakodon in two bowls, he placed them on the kitchen table. Katsuki whistled, signaling for you to arrive at his beckon call. Just like he trained you, you obeyed and strolled over to your usual spot. Ruby eyes never left your form from the time you sat down to the time you both were done.
Isn’t this what you want, Y/N? To be seen.
No words were spoken amongst you two during supper. Katsuki’s pupils and presence did all the speaking. He studied you. Every movement spoke to him. The way your body showed tenseness under his gaze showed the progress was lost. The needy girl who finally talked after so long. You were silenced for months all thanks to Katsuki. You should hate him for it and you do.
You hate him, remember, Y/N? You are planning to escape, right?
Katsuki collected the dishes once you both finished eating. “Thank you, Katsuki.” You mumbled out, like Katsuki trained you. Katsuki did not reply as he placed the dirty bowls into the sink to soak. His gaze did not leave you once.
Katsuki drew you a hot shower. Your clothes were already discarded to the floor. Katsuki has seen you naked more times than you would like to think. This did not make you feel uncomfortable. If anything, you hope he would see you. You hope he would keep his eyes glued to every curve of your bare body.
And they did.
Katsuki had to restrain himself as he began taking off your collar. The exhale of his warm breath entered your parted in your lips. You inhaled him in. You wanted to feel his air inside your lungs. Your skin craved the contact of his. His calloused fingertips felt so rough yet so soft amongst your neck. You hated how it felt so right.
His heavy lips ghosted over yours. They stayed there for what felt like centuries. You didn’t mind, though. If they were a centimeter closer, they would connect, but like magnets that attract, they also can reject.
“Kiss me.” You lowly whisper, not daring to lean in closer without his permission.
Kiss her, Katsuki. You feel the fireworks. Do not let pride and ego stop you. You want her, she wants you. Let her have this.
To your dismay, Katsuki scoffs and pulls away. “I don’t have time for your stupid little games. Don’t take too damn long in the shower. It’s past your bedtime.”
You watched as Katsuki left you alone in the washroom. Katsuki had a lot on his mind. Why couldn’t he kiss you? He has no problem kissing women during sex or for press, but with you, he is timid. He feels like a teenager all over again. All because you said you loved him.
Katsuki contemplated punishing you, but you didn’t really do anything wrong. Punishment is supposed to correct unwanted behaviors. This was once wanted and deep down, still is, just why? Why now? You will not let him touch you. You hated him for trying. You always reject his advances so what gives? Katsuki is not one for physical contact except in the bedroom. If you have not figured this out by now, you really need to.
He wants you to hate him. It’s so much simpler to love you when you hate him. Sure, this is what Katsuki wanted all along, but this is all too much too fast. He does not feel as under pressure when you curse his existence. Loving you on his terms is so much simpler. Now that you reciprocate the emotion, he doesn’t want it.
Katsuki doesn’t know what he wants and because of this, you pay the consequences.
The warm water felt refreshing. The shower was not big, but it felt humungus without Katsuki’s presence. You hated this. You despised the love-hate relationship you developed for Katsuki. When you are alone, you can settle in the hatred you truly feel, but when he’s home, that longing comes back. That wanting of affection and love. The harsh yet love filled stares, the demands, the difference in whistles you learned over time. All so soon. Were you really that deprived of affection? Did you really become accustomed to this new lifestyle? You want to hate him. You need to so badly, but yet you are here fantasizing about his lips on yours. They were so close.
You proceed with your bathing routine before drying off and heading to the bedroom. Katsuki was already downstairs, finishing the dishes that needed to be clean. He laid out comfortable pajamas for you to dress into. Once you are dressed, you comb your hair and crawl into bed. Katsuki joined shortly after and for the first time in a week, he held you close. He may not ever say the words aloud, but this is him saying “I love you, too.”

You are alone; a feeling that brings back unwanted emotions and memories. Much to Katsuki’s dismay yet expectation, it brought resentment. Every creak or subtle movement created anxiety, panic, and hope? Hope that the one person who causes you this much distress is entering through that door? Or do you hope that someone is coming through to take you away from this hell?
Though you did not want to face the truth, you missed Katsuki. Correction; you missed human interaction. He is the only human willing to give you that. Katsuki is sure of that.
You attempt to remember a life that was without Katsuki. The thought itself felt freeing yet terrifying. How can one man have so much power over your mind, body, and soul? Maybe he is right — you really are weak.
A lump forms in your throat. There is a world outside that needs to be seen by your own pupils. You see the characters in anime get to explore Japan and then some. That should be you. It needs to be you. You do not even recall the last time you felt grass between your bare toes or the beautiful melodies of an outdoor windchime. That’s enough for resentment to cycle its way through again.
The collar lays tight around your neck, making uncomfortable dents into your vocal chords. You are used to your own specialized collar that Katsuki personalized just for you. This one felt foreign and too bulky. Oh, and the fact you could get shocked at any moment didn’t help. You didn’t even want to touch the television remote in fear of being zapped. At least you have today’s events to keep your brain busy.
The feeling of Katsuki’s calloused fingertips touching your skin felt so comforting. Dammit, it disgust you. You missed being touched and acknowledged. Katsuki removed the only thing he could provide for you. The way you could feel his natural warm breath on you and the way you could not meet his eyes, you could feel that they were on you. They were seeing you.
Only you.
Someone is seeing your form after days of being neglected. Katsuki has a way of looking through people when he is in a mood. For once, since the incident, you were seen. It may not be the look you desperately wanted, but it was something.
Katsuki finally spoke to you. The sound of the television fell on numb ears. You wanted actual communication. An actual human being listening and speaking to you. Katsuki is not much of a conversationalist, but he knew how to listen. When you were needing his constant attention, you told him stories about your upbringing over dinner. His infamous scowl laid on his features, but his ears were intrigued. They listened. All you wanted is to be heard by somebody.
These memories rattled your brain, but not as much as the simple phrase that came out of your mouth today. A phrase you are certain you did not even feel.
“I love you.” You repeated, but the words did not come out. They rested within your esophagus. You couldn’t make them come out if you wanted to. You hate that the phrase even fell off your tongue as Katsuki walked out the front door. Did you even mean it?
No.
You have not been in love much in your youth, but you know what the emotion contains. For a fact, you know that is something Katsuki does not give you. At least, not anymore. A brief period of time you believed you held this feeling. That is what abuse does to a person, but Katsuki’s mistake is thinking that silence would only make you need him more or go back to your old ways. If anything, it gave you time to reflect. That is the last thing Katsuki needed you to do. Even if you had a mere chance of being in love, this isn’t healthy love. You both are smart enough to know this. You miss your family. You miss your friends, but most of all, you miss you.
The thought sprouted tears in your eyes. You know better than to love Katsuki. Katsuki’s abuse tried to convince you otherwise, you know better than to fall for the lies. This is not the life you are made to live. You have too many great attributes to provide the world. Being stuck in Katsuki’s grasp is not one of them. You have to fight. You have made this way too easy. You refused to fight in order to live. You wanted to be free from the hell Katsuki formed for you within the months.
Clenched fist wiped your eyes once more as the fire burned within them. If Katsuki wants you to play the game so bad, you will play it. You will play it so well that Katsuki will be the one that’s a fool. Not you.
You will fight.
Looking into the camera in the corner of the room, you hiss through gritted teeth, “mark my words Katsuki, I will escape you and avenge what you have taken from me.”
Lucky for you, Katsuki did not see your declaration. He had other important matters to attend to.
Katsuki’s stomach churn at the blinding flashes. He can hear the chatter amongst the press in front of his corporation and it only sent his anxiety through the roof. His stylist made sure not a thread was out of place on his expensive tailored suit. His natural messy blonde hair was perfected in a way they both could agree on. Rare that they agreed on much, but they did at times.
“Ready?” Leiko asked, arching a brow with a deep breath. She could read Katsuki well. He always had a way of speaking without verbally saying what his dark mind carries.
If only she knew his darkest of secrets.
Katsuki gave her a nod, walking out the glass doors that are held open by his assistants. Walking up to the wooden podium, the paparazzi bombarded the pro-hero with questions and microphones.
“Pro-Hero Great Explosion Murder God Dynamite, how are you recovering?”
“Dynamite, sir, do you have any idea where the missing girl is?”
“Pro-Hero Great Explosion God Dynamite, is it true that the missing woman, Y/N Y/L/N, sent in letters asking for your agency’s assistance?”
Katsuki is visibly growing annoyed with the media’s list of questions. Though the spotlight has trained him well, Katsuki is still a short tempered man. He does not even want to be here and his body language spoke that.
Before Katsuki could say anything he would regret, Leiko took his place at the podium and calmed the crowd.
“Everyone, please, relax. Pro-Hero Great Explosion Murder God Dynamite will answer your questions here shortly. We do not have much time so please be considerate. Thank you.”
The crowd followed Leiko’s instructions, calming down to a low mutter amongst each other. Katsuki exhaled the breath he held within his organs. He reversed his lines with Leiko, though, his mind could not register the words being spoken. He needs to protect you. He needs to keep you safe. The only way he is going to do that is by keeping the media quiet.
Katsuki switched spots with Leiko, adjusting the black skinny microphone to meet his height. The amount of cameras rolling and flashing was causing his nerves to have anxiety. Though, he remained calm. Clearing his throat, he begins.
“Hello, I am Pro-Hero Great Explosion Murder God Dynamite. I came here to discuss the concerns of the public. First and foremost, I am recovering well and will be back to saving lives like I always do. So, you can stop talking shit on your shitty little blogs.”
“Dynamite—“ Leiko interrupted through gritted teeth, but the raise of Katsuki’s hand told her to shut it. A deep sigh fell from Leiko’s nostrils. She has to let her boss handle things his way.
“Furthermore, the villain attack in Tokyo was nothing. I kick villains' asses everyday. I am more than capable of doing my damn job so I would highly appreciate it if you learned to shut the hell up about it. Any questions?”
Chatter amongst the crowd before the hero picked up. His self-assured, cocky attitude always made him media entertainment whether people admit it or not. A few hurt feelings sure did sell. The press could not help themselves. One woman decided to speak up.
“Great Explosion Murder God Dynamite,” the female bowed before Katsuki in respect, “I am happy you are getting back to your hero duties, but I must know; is there any leads on where the missing woman, Y/L/N Y/N, can be?”
Katsuki’s grip on the podium became noticeably firmer as he stiffened. He wanted to blow the woman to ash. No one should have your name on their tongue. You should not even be a thought to anyone else but him.
Only him.
Katsuki did not mention your name on purpose. He was hoping his selfish ways will get the press more riled up about him that they forget all about you. Katsuki may not like the game, but he sure does play it well. When his ego speaks, the paparazzi take it and run.
This time, the game did not work. Doing the only logical thing he can think of, already way off script from before, he looks the reporter straight in the eye.

The night of the incident Katsuki remained away from you. Your whimpers and pleas fell on deaf ears as you banged your tired fist on his locked office door. You feel so guilty inside. You did not mean to lead Katsuki on. You truly only wanted his presence near yours. The house is too big and scary without him next to you. Even when he is hitting you, he is at least showing he loves you and keeping you near. Katsuki would even agree with that statement.
He beats you because he loves you.
Why isn’t he hitting you? Where is the spew of insults? Does he not love you anymore? Aren’t you supposed to be punished? He does not even want to look at you. Silence is usually the last resort when it comes to Katsuki. Does he not want you? All these worrisome thoughts have you feeling queasy.
Beer bottles covered his desk as Katsuki drowned his sorrows. He spent his time reading the negative articles written about him. He knows his mother is sulking in the glory as she sees her son’s failures plastered for the world to see.
Just like she wanted.
Your sniffles became silenced as you walked to your shared bedroom. Katsuki let out a sigh. He finally can have peace and quiet. In his mind, he is protecting you. Katsuki is aggressive by nature and not afraid to show his dominance when needed yet he does not want to hurt you in that way. He wants you to want him back. He wants you to want to have sex with him. He is not the monster you claim him to be. Some women may argue he forced himself onto them, but they knew what they signed up for. They all want sex from Katsuki. That is all he truly has to offer other than money.
So, why will you not take the bait, Y/N?
Katsuki cannot seem to wrap his brain around it. Just a couple weeks ago, you hated him. You still do deep down. Hatred just does not evaporate from a week of isolation. It should grow deeper inside you. At least, that is how it always worked for Katsuki when he was abused. His disgust for his mother and her cruelty never vanished once in his mind. You will be no different.
Katsuki and Y/N haven’t talked in three days. Katsuki remained baracadied in his office and you remained on the sofa in the living room. Both of your egos are hurting whether you two admit it or not. Your tears were replaced with emptiness. You became tired of begging for forgiveness. The walls you were starting to let down are now on the rise as your neediness subsides. The only thing shared between you two are quick glares and petty scoffs.
Dinner was now spent in silence. Katsuki did eat with you, but you wish he wouldn’t. His hard glares made it difficult to digest the meal in front of you. You would attempt to gain confidence to speak but Katsuki is quick to shut you down with just the simplest of looks. The look that was sure to remind you of your place; beneath him.
Anger did resurface over time like Katsuki suspected. The moments of quiet have you reflecting. All the abuse you have endured during this short period is unforgivable. Sure, physical abuse is one thing, but sexual abuse is another. Katsuki is sure to make it obvious he wants sexual pleasure from you. This was not the first time you have denied his advances and he is sure it will not be the last. So, why even be around you? You do not want him physically. His personality is sure not on the list. What redeeming qualities does Katsuki have to offer other than sex? These questions racked your brain throughout the days.
You two slept in the same bed still. Of course, you are expected to go to bed by your expected bedtime. Katsuki is going to speak to you at some point and he is not one to forget. Considering you are on very thin ice, it’s best to not push your luck.
Katsuki kept coming to bed late every night. He refused to hold you. The air had a chill you both can’t seem to shake. The duvet seemed like a thin piece of paper as you shiver underneath. You would toss and turn throughout the night, missing the feeling of being held. Katsuki’s house seemed humongous without him right there by your side.
Day four rolled around and Katsuki woke up earlier than usual. The sun is barely peeking up to light the sky and Katsuki is not even trying to be quiet. You are not sure of what day it is since Katsuki gives you no sense of direction or time, but you could only assume he is getting ready for work by his nice attire.
You sat up in bed, observing the male gather his belongings to go to work. Gulping, you attempted to make conversation after not saying a word to one another for a few days.
“Where are you going?” You mumbled slightly above a whisper. Katsuki indeed heard you, but he was not going to acknowledge you. He refuses to. He wants to teach you a lesson.
Hurt bubbles inside you as you watch the male. You sigh, tears brimming your tired eyes. “I’m sorry, Katsuki!” You exclaimed in frustration, tugging at the strand of your messy hair.
Still, you are met with silence. Pitiful tears fell from your eyes. You don’t know what to do anymore or are even sure if Katsuki still loves you. Surely, he must have lost interest by now. He has to.
Just when you were about to give up, he whistled for you to come towards him with the curl of a finger. Doing as trained, you scurry on over to him. The glimmer of hope that your eyes withheld slowly faded as Katsuki’s usual glare of disgust didn’t fade.
“I have to go back to the office today. I don’t need you doing dumb shit while I’m away. So, I am advancing your collar to this one.” Katsuki explains, bringing out a black collar with a box on it. You remained still as he tightened it around your neck. The feeling of having him this close was something you missed. He missed it too, but his pride will not let it show. Instead, he takes extra long to adjust your collar.
The feeling of his calloused digits upon your neck alone was sending voltage throughout your veins. Katsuki feels it too. He has to, right?
“What does the box do?” You whispered, unsure if you should ask the question or not. You did not want to be ignored nor annoy him.
“It’s a shock collar. Do anything stupid and it’ll shock you,” he pulls out the remote from his dress pants pocket to show you, “have it on the highest setting. You know what not to do so I don’t feel the need to go over the set boundaries with you.”
You gulped, not enjoying the feeling of this. “Katsuki, I will behave—“
“And how do I know that?” He retorts back. The distrust laced in his crimson pools is breaking what is left of your beating heart.
Why are you the one feeling guilty? All because you turned him down for sex? A bit assured yet you did what you always do; push those feelings aside and save face.
“I’m s—“
“Save it.” Katsuki huffs, shoving past you to make his way down the stairs. You follow him like a trained labrador. Katsuki has his duffel bag thrown over his shoulder, turning the doorknob when you spoke the forbidden words.
“I love you.” You choked out, not sure you even meant it. It slipped off your tongue before you could catch it. You have learned manipulative tactics since living with Katsuki. There is no doubt about that. Even Katsuki realizes it. The only way to get what you really want is to twist your words to what you seem fit. Sadly, Katsuki is too smart for his own good.
Shaking his head, he exits the house without a word, the automatic security system turning multiple locks. You are now alone.
Katsuki’s drive to work was quiet as usual. He enjoyed the radio off in his expensive car to let his mind ponder. Your words were seeping deep into his skin. He knows you are lying. He knows you just want him to talk to you, but the phrase ‘I love you’ keeps bouncing off of his brain circuits. Is there a slither of hope that what you said could be true? It can’t be. You did not even want to have sex with him. Why would you love him? Not to mention, this early on. Katsuki deals with cases like yours all the time. He knows the ins-and-outs when it comes to the victim's mental state. At least, he believes he does.
Katsuki parked his car in his personal parking space. He did not even notice how tight his grip on the steering wheel was until he could feel the blood rush to his pale knuckles. Turning off the car and gathering his belongings, he heads inside.
Already, people are swarming the Hero.
“Welcome back, Mr. Dynamite.” The receptionist greeted as he walked in through the glass double doors.
“Fresh coffee, Mr. Dynamite, Sir?” One of his many assistants offered, handing him a mug. Katsuki shook his head and kept walking towards the elevator.
“Here are those reports you requested, Mr. Dynamite.” His accountant smiled, handing the hero a stack of freshly printed papers.
“Thanks.” Katsuki grumbled, grabbing them and walking inside the elevator, the doors shutting to finally give him some silence.
His eyes examined the documents before him. Since Katsuki was on the top floor of the tall building, it does take some time to get to his penthouse office. Still, the words on the page seemed foreign to him as all he could think about is you. Not just the words you uttered out, but the way it was to have you close again. He wanted to hate you for what you did. He wanted to push you away for the safety of his ego yet when he felt your pulse increase from the mere touch of his index finger, he didn’t want to let go. He wanted to hold you. He wanted to talk to you.
He misses you.
The elevator stopped on Katsuki’s floor, breaking his deep thoughts. Strolling to his office while still digesting the words on the pages, he opens the double doors to his luxurious work space to be welcomed by a familiar voice.
“Hello Suki!” Leiko chirped, her feet up on Katsuki’s desk as she popped a Cherry Pocky Heart Biscuit Stick in her mouth. Katsuki glared at the woman before him, clicking his tongue. “‘Bout time you showed up.”
“What the hell do you think you’re doing, Leiko?” Katsuki exclaims, clearly unamused at the sight. He is so agitated he could burn a hole through the thick stack of papers in his hand.
Leiko giggled. “Oh, Suki. Already starting this glorious Monday morning off with a grumpy face. Where’s that smile?” She teased.
“Up your ass. Now get the fuck off my desk.” Katsuki demanded. Leiko, knowing not to push her luck with her boss, did as she was told and made her way towards the male. Katsuki brushed past her as he set his duffel bag under his desk and sat in his office chair.
“Why the hell are there crumbs on my desk? Leiko..” Katsuki growls, shooting a glare at Leiko who is still stuffing her face. “How long have you been in here? How did you even—,” Katsuki pinched the bridge of his nose, shaking his head, and sighing heavily to calm down, “y’know what, never mind. I have work to do.”
Leiko swallowed, crumbs still covering the corners of her mouth, but she quickly wiped them off with the back of her hand. “I’m in here for a reason too.” Leiko stated, seriously.
Katsuki glanced at her then back to his monitor screens. “If it’s for that stupid Hero ceremony shit, just save—“
“It’s not that, Katsuki,” Katsuki glared at her, “Dynamite, sir.” Leiko corrected herself. She always seems to rebuttal herself under Katsuki’s intimidating presence. She knows when she has pushed her limits too far and tries to redeem herself. “It’s about the missing person, Y/N Y/L/N.”
Katsuki’s blood ran cold at the sound of your name. His body noticeably turns tense, but the last thing he needs is any suspicion towards him from Leiko. She sure does have his full attention now.
“Yeah, what about her?” Katsuki questioned, arching a brow.
“The media is still going delirious about you getting hurt in Tokyo. To top it all off, an anonymous source recently leaked out that a short time prior to Y/L/N kidnapping, she wrote a letter to your agency, begging for our help.” Leiko explains.
“Why aren’t they questioning the police about this then? I have more important shit to do than worry about a delusional girl who just wanted attention.” Katsuki huffed, folding his arms against his chest.
“The case was still sent to us and people are demanding answers.”
“Okay so?”
Leiko stood up from her seat, placing her palms on the desk with a clear angry expression on her features. “Do you not see how bad this is getting? People's faith in you and your agency are going downhill quick. You need to go out there and say something to the press.”
“To hell with the press.” Katsuki barked back, waving his hand in a dismissive manner. “If they want to talk, so be it, but I’m still going to be the best damn hero this country has ever seen. I’ll even surpass stupid Deku in the process. And watch your tone, Leiko.”
Leiko let out a deep exhale, feeling useless when it comes to this discussion between them. Katsuki’s stubborn nature always infuriated Leiko’s bubbly personality. It doesn’t help he is such a hot head either.
“Not if you lose everything, Katsuki.” Leiko calmly stated, a worrisome look held within her eyes. Katsuki studied her features, finally taking in what she is saying as she starts to head towards the door.
“Fine.” Katsuki sighed, Leiko looking back at him. “I’ll do it.”
A smile of hope spread across Leiko’s face. “I’ll get you set up with the press before your patrols.”
Katsuki watched as Leiko left, giving him some time to himself. Pulling up the security system on his top left monitor screen, he analyzed the footage. You are just sitting on the couch, watching one of the restricted television networks Katsuki approved of. Just the thought of someone coming to steal you away from him angered the obsessive man.
“I will not let them take you away from me, Y/N.” Katsuki stated through gritted teeth, “Mark my words, you are forever mine.”

The morning sun is blocked by Katsuki’s body. Your face is snuggled into his chest for once, feeling the pattern of his breathing body rise and fall. His muscular arms held your body close, keeping you safe from any dangers creeping within the shadows. Any nightmares you were having, Katsuki was there to comfort you.
You awaken first, startled as usual. Your heavy breathing is soothed with Katsuki’s thumb grazing your exposed bicep.
“Sh, you’re alright.” Katsuki grumbles, clearly still planning on sleeping. This sentence has been repeated more than once throughout the night. Seems to be second nature for Katsuki. He has always been there to chase a nightmare away, whether you were aware of it or not.
You shuffle a bit, signaling the man next to you that you want up. This is your usual way of letting Katsuki know when you want to do something. He seems to respond better that way since he is not one to like questions.
Katsuki’s tired eyes peer open.
“Knock it off.” He warns. The man’s head still pounds from his injuries. He just wants to rest.
“I want to get up, Katsuki.” You whine, childishly. Usually, you don’t start your antics this early in the morning, but quite frankly, you miss being scolded by the man. This is how he shows he actually cares.
Scold her, Katsuki. Just like you used to. Let her know you care.
“I said knock it off, Y/N. I’m really not in the mood to deal with your bullshit right now.” Katsuki hissed.
“Yes, Katsuki.” You mumble with a nod. Just like he trained you.
He held you close in his arms like nothing ever happened.
The rest of the day was awkward. Not much was said between you two. Your collar was off due to Katsuki actually giving himself a day off to relax. You find yourself missing the hug on your neck from the leather. It became second nature. A little reminder that you are forever Katsuki’s. Now you feel uncertain.
You both are chilling on your normal spots on the couch. You wanted him to hold you. The room seems so big without him near. He feels a million miles away even though he is just on the other end of the sofa.
You inched closer to the calm man. You know to watch your back, though. Just because Katsuki is in a relaxed state does not mean he is actually calm. Anything can set him off.
Anything.
He is leaned back on the couch, legs crossed on the coffee table while watching an anime you picked. Katsuki is not much for communication unless he is scolding you or bitching about things. So, you are used to his silence.
You inched closer and closer. Katsuki noticed, but did not say anything. You laid your head on Katsuki’s muscular chest, feeling inner peace with hearing his loud heartbeat. Katsuki eyed your action, unsure how to respond. He is honestly tired due to the medication. He does not have it in him to fight or be a jerk right now. You were not touched by him, but he did not brush you off either. He leaves you be.
You both stayed like that until supper. Dinner was eaten in silence, but the air felt different. It was not as thick as it tends to be. It felt content. Katsuki did not realize this is just a pattern of events to come.
The next few days had a domino effect. Katsuki is having trouble adjusting to the neediness that is you. You wanted him near you constantly. Each time he oblige it just fueled the fire. Sure, Katsuki is needy in his own regard, but you wanting his attention 24/7 is taking a toll. The fact he is off for a week due to his injuries does not help it either. Anywhere Katsuki is, you are close behind him, demanding any ounce of affection he has to offer be given immediately. If not, you are quick to have a meltdown. You learned that only gets you ignored, timeout, or threatened to be sent to the wretched room you despised. This pacified your attitude for the time being.
Katsuki should be resting, but the man is a true workaholic at fault. Honestly, he needed something to stabilize his brain and a break from you. He barricades himself into his home office and works on unnecessary reports. Since he is not worried about you running away or disobeying his orders, he deemed it safe to not work on his laptop in the living room anymore. You were ordered to remain on the couch and only disturb Katsuki when you need something. Naturally, you found every excuse to bother the male.
Katsuki will always hear the pitter patter of your feet and the dancing of your collar tags as you make your way to his office. He is already rolling his eyes at you before you even approach him.
“Katsuki,” you call. He turns his attention to you, raising an eyebrow. You look up at him with needy eyes. “I’m thirsty. Can you get me a drink?”
This is your third drink in a single hour, Y/N. Have to have a better excuse than that.
“No.”
You pout, tugging on his arm as he returns his gaze to the monitor screen before him.
“Katsuki.” You whine, stomping your foot.
She wants your attention, Katsuki. Give it to her.
“Y/N, go back to watching your show or you’re going to your room.”
A gasp fell from your breath. You have been threatened with this punishment more than once. It triggers you every time. Katsuki, sadly, does not understand the way trauma works. He just assumes you are being a brat because you are not getting your way. He does not understand this is the consequences of his abusive actions. He noticed how you tremble as you walk past the room. He knows how you feel about it yet he uses it to his advantage. This is how Katsuki works.
The infamous bottom lip quivered as tears welled in your eyes. “You’re so mean!” You cry. Katsuki lets out a dramatic sigh of annoyance, but refuses to give you the attention you are craving.
You are getting quite fed up with Katsuki ignoring you and your request. First it was the meadow and now he is depriving you of attention. He wanted you like this, didn't he? Submissive and up his ass all of the time. Even threatening to put you in that horrendous room of yours. You need to take a stand. If he isn’t going to give you attention, you are going to make him give it to you.
Running out of his office, you dart straight to the living room. You throw the cushions all over the room, knocking over lamps, and throwing any other valuable items. Katsuki’s monitor that played the security footage was alarming him of your antics.
Katsuki sighs, watching you act like a banshee straight out of hell. Standing up from his desk, he marches down the stairs. Stopping at the bottom step, he crosses his arms and doesn’t say a word as he observes you. He does not say a word until you notice him yourself.
You gulp at the sight of him. Regret is seeping in as you observe the room. It is a disaster. You wanted Katsuki’s attention and you sure as hell got it. You just did not want Katsuki to be livid in the process. Your high is running low. Now fear replaces it.
“Katsuki, I’m—“ You began, trying to save yourself. Katsuki did not want to hear it.
“Upstairs. Now.” Katsuki demands, snapping his fingers and pointing to the stairs. You nodded, following his orders and jogged up the stairs. His glare followed you all the way up them.
Katsuki waited a moment to follow you. He observed the destruction so he knew how big of a punishment it should be. He could put you back in the room, but it would just make your neediness worse. That is the last thing he needs.
Shaking his head, he heads up the stairs and enters the bedroom. You are sitting on the bed nervously.
“I’ll clean up the mess, Katsuki.” You sniveled. Katsuki honestly did not care about you cleaning up the mess. He will handle it as usual.
“Strip.”
“W-What?”
“Did I fucking stutter? I said strip.” Katsuki demands. Not wanting to make the man even more angry, you did what he requested with a quickness. Fat tears streamed down your face. Katsuki felt not even a mercy at the sight of them.
Once you are bare, Katsuki begins taking off his belt and folding it in half in his hand. Your limbs begin to quake. It has been awhile since you received a spanking from Katsuki. Even then it was not with a belt.
“Bend over the bed.” Katsuki orders. Sobbing, you follow the man’s command. Katsuki strolls over to you, grazing the brown leather belt of your rear.
“You seem to respond well when I cause you pain,” he strikes the belt on your exposed ass. You cry in response. “Maybe this will teach your ass how to behave. You’ve been acting real spoiled lately.”
“I-I’m sorry, K-Katsuki.” You wail as the belt slashes against you again. You jump every time the belt hits. You never know when it is coming either. Katsuki is cruel and enjoys playing with his prey. Each strike held anger and passion. You can’t see it, but Katsuki is loving this. Witnessing you all marked up because of him. Your pleas for him to stop is only met with faux sympathy.
“Want to behave like a fucking child,” the belt strikes again, “I’ll fucking treat you like one.”
“Katsuki, please!” You screech. Katsuki chuckles.
“Aw, does it hurt?” He mocks, slapping the leather against your bruises again.
“Y-Yes.” You squeak. Another smack.
“Punishment is supposed to fucking hurt, idiot. Your parents never taught your spoiled ass that so I guess I have to.”
The amount of strikes became lost as your ass glowed red and became bruised. You started to become numb. You gripped the sheets for some sort of support and sobbed into them. Katsuki did not even make you count as he hit you. His lecture and spanking should be enough.
Katsuki was ready to strike again, but that was quickly interrupted with his work cell phone ringing. He groans and digs the cellular device out of his pocket.
“What?” He huffs.
“Good afternoon sunshine!” A female’s voice screeched. Katsuki pulled the phone away from his ear before placing it back.
“Oi. I’m fucking busy right now. This better be important, Leiko.” Katsuki growls.
“I heard you are out of the hospital so I thought I give you a call to check up on you—“
“Quit with the bullshit. You’re the head of my PR, not my friend.”
“Ouch! That’s a bit hurtful, Suki.” Leiko pouts with fake hurt in her tone. Katsuki is growing noticeably more annoyed.
“Out with it.” Katsuki barks.
“Fine, fine. Well, you know the Hero Award ceremony is coming up—“
“Not interested.” Katsuki interrupted, pulling the phone away from his ear to hang up when her voice stopped him.
“Y’know you need all the good press you can get, Katsuki. Your popularity took a pretty big hit with you getting hurt in Tokyo. People are starting to question if you are even capable of being a hero. This event can help you climb back to rivalry status with Deku.”
Katsuki pondered Leiko’s words. She is not wrong. The press have been having a field day with Katsuki’s latest fall. Some tabloids are being nice and even showing sympathy for the hero while the others are bashing him left and right. For someone who loves himself a lot, he sure does know how to burn bridges with the people who talk about him most. The thing is, though, Katsuki is never one to care about what others think.
Katsuki looks down at you as you weep. He knows you can hear Leiko’s loud mouth from a mile away. She just does not know how to shut up. One of the many things Katsuki found annoying.
Sighing, Katsuki finally makes a decision. “Fine. I’ll go.”
“Perfect! I’ll let the award show know you’re coming. One last thing.”
“Yes?” Katsuki grumbles, still displeased this conversation is going.
“Do you have a date?” Leiko asked. This perked your ears and head. Would he take you to the awards with him? Is he even going to tell anyone about the fact you two are something? What even are you two? All of the answers you need will depend on Katsuki and his response.
Katsuki waited a moment before speaking. He knows you heard the question and he knows he needs to answer it carefully. He is not ashamed to show you off. He loves you, obviously, but the world is cruel. Plus, you are missing. What if you try to run away? You did not sign up to be a hero nor did you sign up for the spotlight. You also have been acting up lately. He’ll be damned if you make a fool out of him.
“No,” you gasp a little as your heart breaks, “I don’t.”
“How boring, Suki. I mean, you’re practically pushing forty. Aren’t you going to settle down, get married, have kids?” Leiko interrogates, innocently, before popping a Calbee Jagariko Salad Potato Stick into her mouth.
“That’s none of your damn business, Leiko!” Katsuki exclaimed. You shuddered at his outburst while Leiko laughed. She has worked with Katsuki ever since the beginning of his company. She is used to his temper by now.
“I’ll set you up with a fake date,” she paused to swallow her food, “any special request?”
“Yeah, don’t fucking insult me again or you’re fired.” Katsuki warns before hanging up the phone and burying it in the depths of his pockets. His calloused hand grazes over your sore ass. You wince in response.
“Learn your lesson, brat?” Katsuki asked, feeling up on your bruised flesh. You nod.
“Yes, sir.” You mumble.
“What are you going to do from now on?” Katsuki quizzed.
“Listen to you.” You respond.
“And?”
“Not act like a brat.”
Katsuki gently pats your bottom. “Good girl. You’re dismissed.”
You sit up from the bed, slightly disappointed he isn’t offering any soothing lotions and gels like before. He really must be tired of your presence. He doesn’t even want to take you to the awards. Is he that sick of you?
“Katsuki,” you call. He releases an agitated sigh, but remains paused in the doorway. You suddenly become timid. You did not want to make Katsuki even more annoyed with you, but you had to know. “Can I go to the awards with you?”
Katsuki turns to face you with a smug look on his features. You just wanted to punch him for it. “You’re kidding, right? Did I not punish you hard enough?”
“I would act correctly for the red carpet, though! I’ll be good. I promise!” You argued.
“Watch it.” Katsuki warns, the belt still in his hand. Your confidence evaporated and Katsuki loved it. “After the tantrum you threw today, absolutely not.”
“But Katsuki—“
“End of discussion.”
You let out a deep sigh, nodding. “Yes, sir.”
You put on your clothes, whining at the pain as you do so. You decided it was best to not bother Katsuki for the rest of the evening. You cleaned up the mess downstairs. Your body aches as your heart still shatters. Is there even a glimpse of hope for being normal together? Didn't Katsuki want you like this? What changed when he went to Tokyo?
Dinner was silent. Katsuki did not have the energy to talk to you and you did not even want to look at him. His rejection hurts too much. His words and actions only cause more uncertainties that he did not want to listen to.
Katsuki draws you a nice hot shower after dinner. You wait by the door, keeping your orbs locked on him. He checks the temperature of the water. “Alright, your shower is ready. Don’t take too long.” Katsuki instructs as he flicks his hand to get the water droplets off of his digits.
Katsuki begins heading out, but you grab onto his hand. He looks behind him, puzzled by your attempt to make him stay. You could not look him in the eye when he stares down at you. You just want him near. You want to be desirable to him.
“Will you,” you pause to meet his red irises, “join me?”
Katsuki’s eyebrows knit together as he deciphers what you meant. You have been asking him to be near more, but he highly doubts you want him to join you while showering. Plus you are more than capable of cleaning yourself.
“Nothing is going to get you, Y/N. You don’t need me sitting in here.” Katsuki grumbles, rolling his eyes and proceeding out. He doesn’t get what you are requesting of him.
“I don’t mean sitting outside of the shower, Katsuki. I want you to shower with me.” You protest, stopping the blonde in his tracks. You cannot see it, but he is flustered. He does like you, after all. Well, love, but that is a strong word. Even for Katsuki.
The blonde turns to face you. “Fine,” he begins taking off his white v-neck t-shirt and throwing it to the bathroom floor, “just don’t hog all the water.”
You softly smile and begin undressing in front of him. You can feel his eyes linger on every centimeter of your exposed wounded flesh. You should feel ashamed and part of you does, but the other part adores the attention. You want him close. You want him as vulnerable as you are. He has seen you naked plenty of times. It’s only fair.
You climb into the shower, Katsuki following closely behind you. The water rained over you, soaking your whole body. Katsuki watched in all, getting hard at the sight. He really did attempt to compose himself, but the way the water glided down your beautiful body did something to him. Katsuki has needs; needs only you can meet. Obviously, you feel the same way since you invited him to be with you.
You step out of the water so Katsuki can enjoy some too while you shampoo your hair. Your eyes trail down to his cock, but don’t mention it. Your stomach dropped. You cannot say you did not expect this to happen. You may even say you wanted it. Just right now in the moment, you don’t. You just want Katsuki with you. Not in you.
Katsuki steps under the water. You grab the shampoo and begin to lather your hair. That was short lived though as Katsuki pushes you against the cold porcelain. You gasp in fright.
“Katsuki—“ Your lips were cut off by Katsuki’s hovering over yours. The intimidation held in his presence.
“I get it now. You’ve been acting up so I could fuck you, huh? Like when I mark your ass up? Put you in your place?” Katsuki smirks.
“What? No, I—“
“You don’t have to lie to me, baby,” Katsuki begins nibbling on your neck. This is the first time he ever called you baby. “If you wanted me to fuck you like the little horny bitch you are, you could’ve just said so.”
“Please stop.” You whimper. Katsuki’s fingers trailed down into your cunt, rubbing your clit. Katsuki smiles deviously amongst your skin.you did your best to contain the moans that lingered on your tongue.
“Don’t act so shy now. You know exactly what you are doing,” Katsuki removes his digits to slap your outer thigh, “dirty slut. You get off on me beating your ass and scolding you. You probably have a daddy kink or some shit.”
“Katsuki, I—“
“Nothing to be ashamed of.” Katsuki reassured you while cupping your face and meeting your eyes. He rubs his thumb on your cheek. “You can call me daddy, master, Katsuki, anything really while I fuck you senseless.”
You could not take it anymore. You thought you could handle it. You thought you wanted this, but you don’t. You do not want to have sex with Katsuki. Especially after today’s events. He broke your heart and beat you. Maybe it’s time for a dose of his own medicene.
“I don’t want to have sex with you, Katsuki!” You blurt out. Katsuki is appalled by your statement. Who doesn’t want to have sex with Katsuki? He has never been denied it. Ever.
“Ha, nice try, slut.”
“I’m serious. I don’t want to have sex with you. I’m sorry if you thought otherwise.” You admit.
Katsuki pulled away from you, studying your features. He can tell by the tears you are being truthful. Why don’t you want him? That just seems so absurd. You have been wanting him nonstop this whole time. What changed? His ego is even more bruised than it was before. You are sending such mixed signals. He thought he finally figured you out. He even called you baby.
He was showing some vulnerability.
“Get out.” Katsuki orders through gritted teeth. He returns under the water, breathing heavily.
“W-What?”
“I said get out before I do some shit you will hate me for.” Katsuki insists, not facing you as the shower engulfs him. Deciding your safety depends on it, you hop out of the shower and leave Katsuki in peace.

“Why the hell would I take you to some stupid meadow?” Katsuki questioned. You expected this response, but it still hurt you to hear it. Katsuki has not once let you outside since you got here. The world is a dangerous place, after all. Why would he start now?
“Oh, no reason.” You mumble with a sigh following shortly after. The last thing you wanted to do is start a fight with Katsuki. Especially since he has been gone so long. Just the thought of being sent back to that room sent shivers down your spine.
“Y’know you have allergies. The pollen will make you start sneezing and bitching about your head hurtin’.” Katsuki lectures, still annoyed by your request. You should just be thankful you two are alive. Now you are asking to run errands. A meadow of all places. Geez, have some gratitude, Y/N.
“I’m s—“ You immediately retract your apology as Katsuki rolls his eyes.
“What did I say about that sorry shit?” Katsuki groans, cutting you off.
“I’m sorry, Katsuki!” You exclaimed, anxiety taking over while tears flowed. He is taken back by your outburst, but he is used to it by now. Your meltdowns are nothing he can’t handle or correct with his version of proper discipline.
Katsuki continues combing through your hair, not really contemplating your question much further. He doesn’t know how to comfort you and even if he did, there is no guarantee he would. Seeing those pretty little tears trickle down your puffy face is something he grew accustomed to. You might even say loved. You look so small and helpless. All for him. You are crying because you didn’t want to aggravate him. You are crying because of your own stupidity. Katsuki should be smothered in guilt, but he’s not. He is sulking in pride at the result.
Maybe he should put you in the room more often.
You have not once asked Katsuki to go anywhere since you have been to your new home. It’s been almost a month. This is upsetting you even more. You clearly want to be in Katsuki’s presence. Just Katsuki does not know how to handle it nor does he forget your actions over the past couple weeks. He has built so many walls towards you just like you have to him. Now you are trying to let them down and Katsuki doesn’t know what to do. Loving you hurts too much. You would feel the same way. Though he knows he does hold this deep emotion for you, he still is guarded. The people who were supposed to teach him how to love only taught him pain.
“Where have you, um, been?” You muttered out after some time passed. Katsuki continued combing your hair, deciding how he should answer this. Do you even really care or is it just some way to manipulate him? You never cared to know what he is doing unless it is to argue. Why start now?
Katsuki scoffed. “Wouldn’t you like to know.”
“I do, actually.” You state with a sniffle, still not turning to face him. He stopped brushing your hair to glare at your sliver of confidence. If the circumstances were any different, he would have you over his knee or his cock deep in your mouth, but he is exhausted as well as you. You have not had interaction with him since he left. He is letting it slide.
Usually, Katsuki has an amazing judgement of character. His gut never leads him wrong, but due to his blinded senses and current state of mind, he can’t dictate what you are really feeling. This is frustrating him. Your caring ways seem like an act even when you’re crying.
Silence fell over you two again. The comb met your hair once more.
“I got injured.” Katsuki sighed, hating that he even is revealing this to you right now. He doesn’t want you to see him as weak also. He is supposed to be your hero. You did reach out to him for help when you were being stalked, after all.
“Are you okay?” You sincerely asked. Katsuki arched an eyebrow. He could hear the truthful tone in your voice, but this was not the response he expected. Why aren’t you calling him weak? Will you use his injury against him later?
“Dandy.”
You stayed quiet. You could always leave it up to Katsuki to sabotage a good thing going with a sarcastic remark. It was not personal, though. The man’s ego is injured more than his body. He may be happy you’re alive, but it does not hide the sour look in his eye. The world is laughing at him. He has every right to be angry. Even at you.
But if you really cared, why aren’t you trying harder? Just one little sarcastic comment and you shut your mouth? Katsuki does not like this. Where is the screaming? Where is the fighting back? You’re staying silent.
Katsuki stood up to go return the comb into the bathroom, leaving you alone in the bedroom. The big, spacious, master bedroom of all places. This made your heart thump and your breath hitch. Why does the room feel like it’s closing in on you? How can a room feel so empty and so small all at once? Where the hell is Katsuki? All these unanswered questions. Your eyes never left the doorway. You don’t want to miss Katsuki’s return now do you?
Seconds turned into minutes. You can hear him moving around, but you are uncertain what he is doing. Of course, he could be using the bathroom, but he would not leave the door open. He never has before. Sweat droplets formed on your forehead as your bottom lip wobbled. More tears produced.
Katsuki returned to the doorway, leaning against the doorframe with his arms folded against his chest. You release a sigh of relief. He noticed you are still crying, but didn’t say anything. He’s growing more agitated.
“Can you walk?”
You could, honestly. Though you are very malnourished, you still have some strength to stand and walk, but you wanted him near you. You wanted him touching you.
“I don’t think so.” You lied, resisting the urge to make grabby hands like a toddler. What has gotten into you?
Please carry her, Katsuki.
Katsuki studied your features. Subconsciously, he knows you are lying and should punish you, but he only allowed the thought to creep into the forefront of his mind for a few moments before letting it slip away. You need him. You are actually showing some sort of warmth. He wants to resist again. He needs to. You don’t really want him. You are using him like everyone else, right? He probably should just leave you be yet he is making his way over to you. He picks you up bridal style and carries you to the dining room.
Katsuki’s body heat felt warm on the left side of your face. His natural caramel scent was much appreciated by your nostrils. He noticed how you closed your eyes with content as you inhaled and the way your right hand rested on his chest. You are wanting him close. Your actions prove it yet Katsuki can’t seem to accept it.
Katsuki sets you down onto the chair you normally sit in. He is still next to you yet you feel a sense of longing. You want him to hold you. Why isn’t he holding you? He hasn’t touched you in a week. He may be next to you, but he feels a million miles away. It’s so cold and lonely.
“Sit here and behave.” Katsuki instructs, ruffling your hair. The childish pout didn’t leave your lips though you enjoyed his touch. Katsuki has his own love language that you learned to appreciate.
Katsuki starts making a meal with protein and vitamins you have been lacking due to his absence. Your back is still turned towards him. You enjoyed feeling the small gazes that would land upon you. They didn’t linger long as Katsuki’s cooking pulled his attention back to the task at hand. This only made you feel more alone.
You are used to Katsuki’s intense stares that last much longer than preferred. What changed?
“I was worried about you.” You blurt out, not being able to contain the words much longer. Katsuki’s attention that you desperately wanted is now placed upon you. You were not sure if you even wanted it anymore.
“Why?” Katsuki inquired, furrowing his eyebrows together and returning his focus to cooking.
You were not sure honestly. All these emotions towards Katsuki are foreign to both of you. No matter how much time you had to think about Katsuki, you still could not fully comprehend your feelings during that horrific time. Your personal demons have taken over by then and made you so uncertain of yourself.
“I don’t know.”
Katsuki did not know what to do with that information. He isn’t one to accept help or people’s pity. He wants his partner to love him, of course, but his selfish pride refused to accept it. How can anyone truly love him? Especially since he has hurt you. He left you for dead. He is a failure. Katsuki may be a narcissist by default, but he does contain some moral compass.
Katsuki placed the fresh Yaki Udon into a bowl and laid it in front of you along with chopsticks. You glance up at him.
“You’re not going to feed me?” You pondered aloud as Katsuki began walking away. He stopped.
“Do I need to?”
“I would like you too.”
So bold, Y/N.
You aren’t sure where this courage came from. You might even consider it as needy, but you just want Katsuki near. Sadly, this doesn’t translate the same to Katsuki.
Katsuki is tired. Today has been a long day and all he wants to do is sleep. Typically, Katsuki would feed you. He would not even let you out of his sight, but by your actions — and security system — he is not too concerned with you trying to escape. If anything, he is testing you. He wants to see if you are really putting on a show or genuinely want him around. Bonus points are added for begging for his attention.
“I’m going to bed. Feed your damn self then come join me once you’re done.” Katsuki grumbles, proceeding to march up the stairs to your shared bedroom. The sound of the door slamming echoed through the house. You are alone again.
You stared at the Yaki Udon in front of you. Your stomach growled and is practically jumping for you to devour it, but you no longer wanted it. You wanted Katsuki. Except Katsuki no longer wants you. At least, that is what his actions show.
Your attention went to the front door that isn’t far from the dining room. This is your chance to run. You and Katsuki both know this. He doesn’t leave you unsupervised for this — and many other — reason(s). You have an advantage. You can leave right now and possibly have a chance of escaping Katsuki’s captivity. That is all you ever wanted, right?
Right, Y/N?
You broke your hard gaze at the door and back to your food. You forced yourself to take a nibble. After you ate the first bite, your body begged for more. You demolished the Yaki Udon like a savage animal. Luckily, Katsuki is not there to see it. You would be embarrassed for him to see you act this way. He taught you better than that.
The house was quiet like when Katsuki was away. You refused to touch anything. He didn’t provide you with any instructions except to meet him upstairs once your meal is consumed.
You decided to stand up and head towards the bedroom. Hopefully, Katsuki will approve of this action. You hesitate once you arrive at the door. Your adrenaline is pumping through your tired veins. You wanted Katsuki, but you also are scared of him. You tried being more bold with your emotions, but Katsuki did not respond well to it. Again, it’s not personal. Katsuki is just like that.
Opening the door — softly — you see Katsuki lying on his side of the bed. Your heart fluttered at the sight. He looks so undisturbed. Peaceful even.
Climbing into bed, Katsuki’s eyes peel open as you climb under the covers. Your backs are to one another. This warm bed never felt colder. He always held you to sleep and you found comfort in that. That is the only true moment of pure endearment you both felt. A peacefulness that cannot be met when you both are awake.
You both have built walls that are no longer tumbling down. When you start to give Katsuki what he so desperately wanted, he pushes you away. This is not the homecoming you expected.
Katsuki shifted, secretly telling you he is awake. He wants to hold you, badly, but he needs to protect his heart. Your words and actions hurt. This honeymoon phase will die just like all excitement does. You will go back to hating him. You will go back to calling him out of his name.
It will go back to normal.
“Thank you for the meal.” You whisper, unsure if Katsuki is truly awake or not. You did not want to disturb his rest.
“You’re welcome.”
You turn around to face the stranger in the bed next to you. His back is still towards you, but his eyes are wide open as they stared at the wall before him. Katsuki’s anxiety is already through the roof and your actions are not making it any better for them poor man.
“Can you,” you paused, worrisome thoughts approaching. Katsuki perked up his head slightly to let you know you have his interest. You swallowed the imaginary lump in your throat.
Beg for him, Y/N. Make Katsuki feel wanted.
“Can you please hold me?” You pleaded pathetically. Katsuki almost felt bad for you.
Turning around to face you, he gestured for you to come closer as he held up the cover. Your instincts took over as you snuggled close. Your head is buried deep into Katsuki’s neck. This is the first time you willingly snuggled him. Typically, your back is against his chest and you will passive aggressively let him know you are not willingly participating in the cuddling. This time was different though. Katsuki’s heartbeat became soothing to you instead of obnoxious. His light snores were comforting and the way he held you close felt secure, stable, and safe.

It went on for years as Katsuki kept walking to nowhere. Should he go left or right? North or south? It really doesn’t matter. It will always give him the same result. Katsuki is not sure how he ended up in this strange place, but for someone as fearless as he is this sure did creep him out.
“Where the hell am I?”
Katsuki kept walking. His footsteps echoed into the pitch black room until a little light appeared. It felt familiar.
“Y/N,” Katsuki’s rough voice called into the darkness. “Y/N, is that you?!” He exclaimed in clear distress. Katsuki felt so alone. All he wanted was you right now.
Silence.
Figuring it is all his imagination, he decided to avoid the light all together and go another direction.
“Katsuki?” A little voice finally spoke. Katsuki whipped around to see the same light approaching him. It is you. You are in the same attire he left you in, but you are free of your shackles and not in any pain. Your hair is done the way you typically like it and you have a natural bright glow about you. His heart fluttered at the sight.
“Katsuki!” You beamed. You ran to the man, leaping into his arms so he could hold you close. Your warm presence comforted him as he did for you.
“Y/N, you’re alright.” Katsuki’s voice shook.
“Of course I’m alright, silly.” You giggle, pulling away to meet his crimson orbs. “I’m even better now that you are here. I was starting to get lonely.”
“What is this place?” Katsuki inquired.
“Whatever you want it to be.” You respond.
You moved some of the blonde hair out of his face so you can admire his beautiful structure. Your orbs traced every single feature on his face until you reached his lips. Slowly, you two pull in like magnets. Though they were once chapped, they are now soft and filled with passion. Katsuki for once did not feel the need to pull away. He just wanted you close. He wanted you to touch him.
He wanted you.
You slowly pulled away, gazing back up at him with a genuine smile. Your hands intertwined. Katsuki’s usually calloused hands felt soft and his body is now average temperature.
“C’mon, I want to show you my favorite spot.” You gushed, dragging the man behind you. He usually is too heavy for you to even pull him, but everything is lighter than a feather where you two are. The once pitch black room became a meadow filled with different color flowers. Katsuki looked around, confused on how this happened.
“How—“
“Bet you can’t catch me!” You interrupted in a teasing manner, releasing Katsuki’s hand so you could run through the yellow daffodils. Katsuki grinned, letting you get a decent distance before chasing after you. The softness of the grass tickled your bare feet, but you kept running. You wanted him to catch you.
Broken petals and pollen danced within the spring wind as you fell into a bed of flowers. You both erupt in a fit of giggles as he flips you around so you can face him. Pinning you down by your wrist, he licks his lips as he embraces this moment.
The sun shines down on you and Katsuki. Bending down, Katsuki greedy maw met yours. This time, he deepens the kiss to pour all of his true emotions into you. You can actually feel it in your bones. All his love, passion, and dedication. There are no walls or fear. Just pure love between the two of you.
Pulling away, Katsuki's smile turned into a frown. Your once confident look turned back to uncertainty. You had to look away. Katsuki arched an eyebrow, grabbing your chin — lovingly — so you are forced to look at him.
“What’s your deal?” He questioned.
“I have to go soon.” You mumble, sadly.
“What do you mean?”
“Well,” you paused, cupping his face with your right hand and stroking his cheek with your thumb. “You are going to wake up soon.”
“This,” he swallows the lump in his throat, “is a dream?”
You shake your head, a small smile appearing on your lips at his ignorance. You are honestly not sure where you are either, but you are not going to tell Katsuki that.
“Promise me something before you wake up.” You falter, waiting for Katsuki to meet your soft gaze. Once his crimson eyes meet yours, you continue speaking. “If you ever return back to me, if you even remember all of this,” you sigh, “will you take me to the meadow?”
Katsuki’s deep red irises turned soft at the request. Your eyes held sadness as so did his. He never meant to leave you alone. He loves you so much. You can even feel it radiate off of his natural tan skin. It may not be his fault he got hurt, but guilt still crept over him. He must be waking up.
You slowly started to become transparent beneath him. He reaches for your hand that is cupping his face to hold it, but it is disappearing. The warmth and loving feeling he was receiving is now turning into a bitter coldness. His heart raced as he held onto your hand. Tears brimmed Katsuki’s pupils as he watched you go.
“I’ll always come back for you. I promise.” He rasp. You smile with content, proceeding to fade to nothing. Warm streams of tears flow from Katsuki’s eyes and into the fresh green grass below. Any sadness and pain Katsuki felt from the way you treated him was released. He will not cry in real life, but here is a safe place.
The sound of Katsuki’s heartbeat became intensifying. The meadow beneath him started to vanish. He is now left in the black room he was in before. The boom of his heart echoed through the never ending darkness. His crippling anxiety and fear are lingering amongst the shadows. More tears fell.
“Y/N!” Katsuki bellowed in a fit of rage. Silence. He ran into the dark with no sense of direction. Why did you have to disappear? Why couldn’t you just stay in the meadow with him? He feels so hollow now that his gorgeous light is gone.
“Y/N!” Katsuki repeated.
Silence.
Falling to his knees, Katsuki sobbed. All his true feelings that he bottled up over the years have finally reached the surface. Pain, guilt, sadness overtook him. He’s breaking and only left with the darkness to comfort him.
Katsuki shifted in the uncomfortable hospital bed as his eyes slowly peeled open. His red orbs slowly scanned the room. Confusion consumed him as he was uncertain just how he ended up here and for how long. The wide windows allowed the sunset to give the plain walls an orange tint. The heart monitor is the only sound that fills the wide space, slowly bringing Katsuki up to speed.
“Where.. Where am I?” He grumbled aloud.
“You’re awake.” Doctor Ito started with a smile as he walked into the room. “Was worried you would not wake up for another week.”
“How long have I been unconscious?” Katsuki asked, his voice still holding its natural gruff tone, but it was filled with uncertainty and exhaustion.
“About a week. You had a bad blow to your head and body in downtown Tokyo. You lost a lot of blood and fell into a coma from how hard you landed into the building. We gave you a blood transfusion and stitched up your serious wounds. Besides the big gash in your head, your skull was only slightly fractured.” Doctor Ito explained to his patient.
“A week?” Katsuki repeated, trying to piece the puzzle back together. He honestly did not care about what was wrong with him. His bruised ego is more important at the moment.
His unused brain started to hurt as memories came flooding in all at once. Katsuki is starting to become overwhelmed. Too many thoughts came to mind when all he wanted was answers. Only answers his mind could provide from that night.
Doctor Ito placed a comforting hand on the young man’s shoulder. “Take it easy. You still need rest and your heart rate is rising.”
“Like I give a damn if it’s rising. How the hell did I get injured like this?” Katsuki growled. He wanted answers and he wanted them now.
“That does not matter. What matters is that you are alright. You should be thankful you are alive. If hero Shoto Todoroki — along with the others — was not there to assist, you wouldn’t be here right now.” Doctor Ito sighed.
Katsuki’s temperature was rising. Things were starting to make sense again. The destruction, the villains, the Nomu’s, the building, leaving you. It is all coming together and Katsuki almost wishes he did not remember.
“Icy-Hot bastard didn’t save me,” Katsuki hissed. His large calloused palms started to make little sparks at the recognition Shoto is swimming in on the tabloids. Katsuki is looking like a total failure right now. “I didn’t need saving. I was fine by myself. They just got in my damn way.”
The heart monitor showed an increase in Katsuki’s heart rate. His body temperature became irregular as he was getting more pissed by the moment. Not only what happened with the villains, but how much of a fool he is looking to the public right now. Especially since Shoto is the reason for this. He doesn't even want to think about how far you have ran away by now.
“You need to rest, sir. You’re still healing and your heart rate needs to stay stable.”
“To hell with my heart rate. I’m going home.” Katsuki argued. He started removing the medical wires attached to him. As much as the doctor hated Katsuki not listening to his orders, he cannot stop the hero. Every patient has a right to decline medical help.
“Alright. Please be careful and take a week off of hero work. Your medication will be available at the front desk.” Doctor Ito explained with a sigh. Katsuki watched as the doctor left before getting up and getting dressed. Luckily, Katsuki left his duffle bag full of clean clothes at his office and his assistant dropped it off sometime during the week.
Sliding up a pair of underwear, gray sweatpants, and a plain black v-neck t-shirt. He threw on his sneakers, collected his personal belongings, and checked out at the front desk. His thoughts swarmed. Any word spoken — even if it was not directed at him — felt like a personal attack. They are all laughing at him inside his mind. Everyone is talking about how terrible of a hero he is.
A failure.
Just like his mother always said.
“Hush, you little punk! If only you weren’t such a weak little bitch and got kidnapped, you caused everyone all sorts of trouble!”
“Weak..” Katsuki mumbled under his breath. The word seemed to replay on a constant loop. The pain from the back of his head felt all too familiar. Katsuki is used to headaches. Loud noises tend to give those to him. He had them a lot as a kid along with giving his fair share of them to others.
“Sir?” The front desk lady spoke, grabbing Katsuki’s attention. He shook his head, snapping out of the trans of misery he put himself in. He met the lady's concerned eyes. “Here is your prescription. Doctor Ito put the directions on the pill bottle.”
Katsuki nodded. “Thanks.”
Katsuki grabbed the drugs and made his way outside. Everything on the outside world is increasing his anxiety. The loud noises, the chatter amongst civilians, the children idolizing heroes. Idolizing almost everyone but him.
Katsuki has not been good when it comes to public approach. The only thing he cares about is his image and his drive to succeed. He does want to be a hero, of course. Nothing more thrilling than saving lives and beating up bad guys, but Katsuki can’t help himself and ponder the thought of this all being a mistake? Would everyone be better off if he was not a hero at all? Sure, there are people out there who idolize him. He is Japan’s fifth greatest hero, after all, but no one idolized Katsuki like they do with Deku. Deku has this charisma about him. People can relate to him and his generosity. He does more than save lives, he is personable and actually nice. That’s just not Katsuki’s style.
Home felt faraway. Katsuki is questioning everything and doubts from his childhood will not seem to get out of his head. His judgement is cloudy like the night of the incident. The background noise is giving him a headache and all he wants to do is lay down. Then he remembered that you are either on death's door or found a way to escape. His anger increased at the thought.
Katsuki finally arrived at his house after some time. Thoughts of you crept back into his mind when he tried to forget. Honestly, he is expecting the worst. To his surprise, he found everything the same as he left it. He expected you to have run away by now. You are a smart girl. No matter how submissive he wants you to be, he knows you are strong.
You must be dead.
Katsuki shook his head. He did not want to think like that. If he lost you due to his own doing he is not sure he would be able to live with himself. He loves you more than his abilities are able to express. He did not have it easy growing up. How can one show love when they were never properly taught it?
Katsuki rests his forehead on your door. He lets out a large exhale as he is met with silence. His physical body will not dare show it, but he is nervous. He does not want to see your dead body. He does not want to see the destruction you have created trying to escape. He does not want to feel the repercussions of his terrible actions. His tired body cannot handle it.
Reluctantly, Katsuki slowly opens your bedroom door. Katsuki’s nose crinkles at the horrific smell. You are laid out on the floor before him, covered in your own feces. You have not moved since the day you laid there. Your body is weak and frail. You have definitely lost some weight within the week of Katsuki’s absence.
Katsuki tried not to, but he could not retract the gags that escaped his lips. You did not even look up at him. In all honesty, you are not even sure if he is actually here. Is it another fantasy or nightmare? Is it all in your imagination? You didn’t want to know. You have no energy along with the embarrassment washing over you if he actually is standing there. This is not your finest moment.
“You alive?” Katsuki asked, keeping his distance.
Your eyes sparked open. You cannot believe your ears. This must be some sick trick your dying body is playing on you again. A hallucination. That is the only rational explanation. Katsuki has left you to die. He would not come back for you. That is what you tell yourself anyways. You are just here to rot away in this slow hell, but still, you use the little strength you had left within you to look up.
“Ka-,” you swallow, “Katsuki?”
“Yeah, it’s me.” Katsuki sighs in relief.
Silence fell over you two again. You could not hold eye contact much longer. You have no strength to. Katsuki is looking at you in disgust for obvious reasons. This only makes you feel worse. You wish he was just a hallucination so you do not have to experience this situation any further.
“Y-You,” you pause as a soft smile appears on your lips and tears fill your eyes. “You came back for me.”
You did not see it, but Katsuki was washed with guilt. The man does love you. He is obsessed, matter of fact. He did this to keep you safe while he was away. He did not anticipate getting hurt while on a mission. This was supposed to be a simple villain attack.
Katsuki did not know what to say. He has never been good with emotions unless they retained anger. That is the only emotion he knows how to express unless he is having sexual intercourse. Then he knows how to make people feel worthy to him.
“You look like shit.” Katsuki comments, disregarding what you said before.
“I’m sorry.” You whispered quickly, feeling ashamed. You are just happy to be in Katsuki’s presence. He is the only person who has taken and given attention to you since you were being stalked in college. You are so deprived that all you want is more. You want Katsuki.
Katsuki unlocked your ankle from the shackle, careful to avoid the mess below. He did not want to touch you, but given the circumstances he caused, there is no other option. Picking you up, he did not hold you close. This pained you some. Are the bad thoughts right? Does Katsuki not want you close?
Carrying you to the bathroom, he sets you down on the toilet so he can start the shower. Your face crinkles as the soiled fabric is pressed against your skin. You begin to feel dizzy and fall over when Katsuki catches you.
“Hey,” he begins tapping your cheek so you open your closed eyes, “don’t go fallin’ asleep on me now.”
“I’m sorry.” You apologize again, the words slipping from your tongue. Katsuki raised an eyebrow. He is uncertain if he likes you in this apologetic state or not. He is used to you being argumentative and dismissive towards him.
“Would you quit apologizing? Shit is weird coming from you.” Katsuki nagged, pulling the lever so the water would rain into the tub from the shower head. Your quiet heart began to race. Did you make Katsuki angry? You didn’t mean to. Oh no, is he going to leave because you are annoying him? Your stupid brain will not shut up and now you are trembling.
“I’m—“ You stop yourself from muttering the forbidden phrase. Instead, you let out a deep sigh as you clench your eyelids shut. You refused to let the tears fall. Not now. Not in front of Katsuki.
Katsuki helped you remove your articles of clothing and into the shower. Your legs wobbled beneath you from not being used in so long. You could not even feel them at this point. You are so malnourished and mentally unstable that your brain is not computing the proper demands. You just wanted to fall over, but Katsuki would not allow that. He was not there before to catch you when you fall, but he is now.
Once Katsuki is sure you are stable, he lets go of you so he can begin cleaning the mess you made. Abandonment started to seep in and small whimpers came from your chapped lips.
“Wait.” You cried. Katsuki stopped in the doorway. You could not see him because of the shower curtain, but you know he is there. You can feel his presence. You felt pathetic asking, but you forced yourself to spit the words out.
“Please don’t go.” You say just an ounce over a whisper.
Katsuki furrowed his eyebrows. You want him to stay? Where is the long list of profanities and sick nicknames? What about the daily reminders of how much you hate him? You are asking him to stay. He cannot be hearing this right. This is a trap of some sorts.
“What?” Katsuki questioned. He did not want to be made a fool of again.
Please don’t make Y/N say it again, Katsuki.
You let your eyelids fall down as the water ran over you. It already took a lot out of you to even say the few words your body could produce. Sighing, you repeat yourself.
“Please don’t go, Katsuki.” You mutter. Your desperation was showing and you actually wanted Katsuki to see it.
You hear Katsuki’s natural heavy footsteps approach you. His hand peers through the curtain. “Here.” He grumbles.
You held on tightly to his large hand. This is the first time you ever held his hand willingly. Katsuki did not mind, though. He loved the way your delicate little fingers felt in the palm of his hand. When you become unsure of yourself, he rubs his thumb over your knuckles to let you know he is still here. The small reassurance helped you remain calm as you washed yourself.
Not only did you miss Katsuki’s touch, he missed yours too. He will never say it aloud. He doesn’t know how to show affection outside of sarcastic remarks, simple gestures, and protecting you from the outside world. You may never receive a proper hug or the simple actions of love, but Katsuki shows you love in his own way. You just have to learn to appreciate that.
You finished cleansing yourself. Katsuki stayed put, not saying a single complaint. He helped you dry off and carried you to the master bedroom so he could dress you and brush your hair. You both stayed quiet throughout the process. It was never spoken, but you two missed each other dearly. Katsuki had his regrets as well as you did your own. So many emotions filled both of you. The two of you could use a nice meal and a proper nap.
“Katsuki?” You uttered out as he combed your wet hair. He hummed in response.
