you all saw how shigaraki looked from the constant attacks by the heroes, he obviously needed regen back to survive. him going for aizawa was the only logical move he could make. but because he’s a villain he isn’t supposed to try and stay alive with everything he got? because he’s a villain he’s not supposed to defend himself? he is still fighting for his life. yes he off ‘d people, no that’s not me making excuses for innocent lives being taken but the fact remains, shigaraki, the league, the plf is fighting in self-defense right now. they have been attacked out of nowhere, not vice versa. and they are allowed to defend themselves. they don’t need to allow the heroes to take them down without a fight. and they won’t.

and they’ll come out on top. because everything else would be bullsh/t
