Marshall is, like, the stereotypical "boy" poster child. He's all about toy cars and planes, comics, video games, bugs, getting his hands dirty, etc. He loves hanging out on Brandy's farm or running off on walks only to come back bearing a cool stick and an arm full of slugs.

Treats his toys like his "babies." He has one ragdoll Brandy made him, which is his main way to project a better upbringing onto his play! He has to be in the right headspace for it, definitely on the younger end, but he'll take it with him wherever he goes and make sure to include it in whatever he's doing. Fun fact: The doll is gebderfluid! He never picked a gender, so you actually have to ask if it's his son or his daughter whenever he has it.

Marsh is incredibly sensitive and emotional when regressed. Something he was never allowed to be as a child. He's attention seeking, loud, teary, and prone to escalation. He can get downright "bratty" when he feels comfortable enough to. He doesn't act out from a place of malice. Even when he seems angry, and his face is red from yelling, it's because he's panicking. His friends, especially when regressing, are his safe haven. When he feels they're starting to drift or ignoring him and his needs, he gets incredibly scared. He craves that gentle, extra attention that comes with tears and screaming, even when it involves pausing an activity to calm down.

He's been emotionally regressing for a long time, but the cognitive component only really made itself known after he started dating Soren. He wasn't raised to sit with or regulate his emotions. Quite the opposite, his father took the "traditional" approach, and Marshall grew up either repressing his feelings or channeling them into anger. Sadness and tears were effectively banned in his childhood home.

He didn't get to develop coping mechanisms. He didn't have the time, space, or energy to dedicate to unpacking his upbringing or adult stress. He simply went about his life in the way he was expected to. Eat, sleep, work. The former were optional. On the off-chance he did have the time and energy; Marshall would get into physical altercations such as street or bar fights as a way to vent his frustration, and to feel he was "being sufficiently punished" for the way he was.

Being raised conservative and religious put a lot of guilt and anger into his head, none of which was his own. He didn't grow up to hate any group of people as much as himself, but that didn't stop him from looking down on the same people his father had always condemned. Even Brandy, loyal as she is, distanced herself from him when he started to parrot more and more bigotry as a teen.

☆ - Yuki loves looking at all the pretty fishes, though! Even though he's usually not very mobile while regressed since he goes pretty young, Mama Tohru has to hold his hand tight to he doesn't run off to see more. 🐠

☆ - If Tohru ever were to lose sight of Yuki, most likely because Kyo is on the brink of a tantrum from Shingure poking fun at him, he would hold back tears since he's in public, but be terrified as he hates being alone.

☆ - Most of the day, Shingure would just enjoy the sights while sitting on a bench in reading. Tohru tries to engage with him at points because she's worried he isn't having a good time, but he assures her she's already done more than enough!

☆ - Kyo's interest would be peaked, however, at the touch pool.

☆ - He would call out for Tohru's attention in excitment everytime one of stingrays touched his hand! He would even try picking up one of the horseshoe crabs, but get scolded at by staff. 🦀

☆ - Mama Tohru had to apologize on his behalf as Kyo started yelling at the staff member for ruining his fun.

☆ - Tohru throughout the day makes sure the boys, especially Yuki and Kyo since they are regressed young, drink plently of water and eat the snacks she brought them! She even makes sure Yuki is all clean even if he insists he is. Tohru just wants all of them to have the best day they can while staying healthy in the process!

☆ - Shingure kept making jokes throughout the day about how all the little fishes would make yummy sushi or rice balls. Kyo yelled at him for that as it made Tohru start feeling bad for the poor fishes in sushi :(

☆ - When they got to the shark section, they all had to push Tohru through quickly, as she is terrifed of them! 🦈

☆ - Kyo later complained about not seeing the cool fish, but assured Tohru it was fine because she was more important anyways.

☆ - When they passed the sea horse tank, Shingure took a picture and sent it to Hatori in a mocking manner

☆ - At the end of the day, Kyo leaves with a shark plush since Tohru felt bad he couldn't go see them, Yuki gets a underwater themed rattle toy for tummy time, Tohru buys Shingure a book on oceanlife even though he says he doesn't need anything, and the boys all buy Tohru a Jellyfish hairbow as thank you for the trip!

☆ - Both Yuki and Kyo fall asleep on the car ride home, even Mama Tohru does too! Thankfully Shingure was the one driving so they arrive back home safely.. Everyone was worn out after such a busy and fun day :)
