Platinum Quest Nuzlocke

I now have an official plan for my first ever nuzlocke challenge/comic adventure. Now the hard part is deciding how to do it. My three options are as follows--use my current Platinum game but delete the current file, buy another copy which is currently a little outside my price range, or use an emulator that I don't think has Underground capabilities (will be needing heartscales at some point). Either way, I'm a little at a loss. I'll decide on that soon as I really want to make notes and plot out the comic in full soon after I get through everything.

I need some opinions if you all are willing to give me.

Just want to let everyone know that I'm most likely going to be releasing my nuzlocke comic sometime early next year. The main reason being is one I need some time to plan out everything from the main character I will be using in my run as well as structuring out plot points in my chosen game. On top of my other projects I want to start/finish by the end of the year, this is unfortunate will be low on my list of priorities. So long story short, it'll take some time, but it will happen soon.
