“Whatever, they BOTH teach Potions,” James said with a little shrug. “How am I supposed to remember who assigns homework and when considering every teacher piles us with it every single day.” As usual, James was being far too dramatic about the situation but the amount of homework he received made him mad, despite how little of it he completed. “I don’t need Potions to play Quidditch.”

Domi was walking through the corridors when she heard the strum of guitar. Since she was a lover of music, she obviously had to seek out whoever had such a talent. She followed the sound until she saw Rayin in a mostly secluded corridor. Domi sprinted over excitedly and sat right beside him despite the clear annoyance Rayin was oozing out. “No I didn’t until I heard you! I didn’t know you played?! You’re really good, oh my gosh. How could I not know?! You knob, you should’ve told me! Play some more.”

He laughed, taking the quill back and shaking his head. “It’s…karma, right? You try to avoid the blind guy, but it didn’t really work. So…karma.” He was only joking, but he couldn’t help but be a bit confused. Last he knew, it didn’t make much sense to give someone your number and then straight up avoid them. 

“Well, you got further with this than I have. At least something’s happening. I’m starting to wonder if I’m just being Punk’d. Like, some wizard version of Ashton Kutcher’s gonna jump out and tell me they’ve just been fucking with me this whole time.” Far fetched and ridiculous? Yes, of course. “I dunno, something about element of surprise or…whatever. Don’t know why I’d need that.”

Rhys wouldn’t necessarily say he hated Potions. It wasn’t his favorite class, but it was easy enough that he didn’t mind it. For the most part, he could lose himself in the lessons, too busy scribbling down his own notes to notice much else. And if the person sitting next to him sounding like they were in a real hurry to leave right now, it was no concern of his. What was his concern, however, was a distinct lack of his quill that he’d literally just had in his hand. So either he’d misplaced it –pretty likely, actually– or, in his haste to rid himself of Rhys’s amazing presence, the guy next to him had grabbed it. 

“Where the fuck. You didn’t grab my quill, did you?” He asked, turning and…stopping. Oh. So that was who sat next to him. Alright. So basically he could have hooked up with him a bit sooner. That kind of sucked, actually.
