Euro Summer!! (No AC)
No way the only fifa game im gonna be in town for is fucking Argentina v England
also love how many short (or at least not tall) men there are in opera
as lead roles and impressive personalities and soldiers and love interests and villains
all allowed to play serious characters and not treated as anything but normal
and extremely pretty while doing it too
...honestly it might be harder to name famous opera men who aren't in the 5'6"-5'8" range?
I love that operas aren't cast purely off of looks like a lot of tv is especially now cause like anybody can be anyone as long as they class play and sing the role (of course there are some issues) like even age and on occasion gender doesn't matter for the casting. While in tv if someone looks different it's expected to become a plot point
Trying not to get lost while watching the marriage of Figaro is a fucking sport

Buying opera tickets is so stressful cause what if my prof just tells me he can sneak me in tomorrow but what if he doesn't and they sell out
Just realized audition day falls less than a week after my oral surgery đ«
this WalkĂŒrenritt has everything. the audience cheering. the audience booing. a ride through Munich's iconic locations. dick jokes. dead guys in the opera's foyer.
LOOK AT MY GOOD FRIEND TOBIAS KRATZER'S WORK
Y'all I'm performing music in the FIFA fan festival in a little less than two weeks!! So excited I can't wait to find out who is playing
Crazy genius idea, so hear me out,
When I'm a camp counselor in a few weeks I'm going to track how many questions I answer per day and how much water I drink per day (running around in the hot summer sun all day). I will then research how much water on (a very rough) average ai data centers use per prompt. I will then compare who consumes more water per question, me or ai.

So I joined a community orchestra on an instrument I don't know how to play. I only researched enough to know the tuning, and low-key it's fun as hell. While I can play a lot of the music they give me I know none of the instrument technique and have no clue what I'm doing
Sooo how does one write a cadenza
