So, youâre ready to take the plunge into making Feedist video content on YouTube. In this quick guide, weâll touch on things to be aware of and how to prepare when starting a channel to maximize your viewer following off the bat.
Preparation
The first thing you will want to do is develop your Channel Name & Brand. Do you have a username you use online? (eg: SupaFatBBW, ChubbyBHM and etc). This is where you want to choose something or think of something youâre okay with using long term. When you get to the point of being able to set a channel URL, thereâs no option to change it at this point, so something that sticks works best.
Once thatâs all decided upon, itâs best to think of a âContent planâ. What videos will you provide? Is the channel focused on discussion or belly play? Will you hone in on a niche within the community, such as a channel focused on Little (DDLG) content? Try to think of unique content or your own style of content. If you can have something to set yourself apart, you will get a following pretty quickly.
When youâve thought of those things and youâve got your YouTube channel created and ready to go, itâs time to move into the hard work of setting up your channel.
Profile Checklist
This checklist will help you prepare yourself for setting up your channel, making sure it looks established and professional. A little initial work goes a long way.
Channel Icon
Your main branding, this is how people will instantly recognize your videos. Think of it as your Display Picture. You can change this by clicking the Pencil icon in the corner of your default display channel icon. Â Â Â Â
Channel Art
This is the banner that sits on top of your YouTube front page, a good banner will have some form of imagery related to the channel, the Channel Name and maybe a tagline. Some people even put their schedule here or their contact details. You can change this by clicking the Pencil icon in the corner of your default channel art â there will be a button to change it initially when this is blank.
About info
While youâll likely want to make an FAQ video eventually, having your about info filled out will filter out a lot of repeat questions. Use the first few lines as a brief summary of the channel, as this will appear in your profile card when people hover over your channel name in searches or in comments. I like to put contact info, schedule and content listings in here.
Contact email
Have you got an email specifically for your content? A way for fans or donors to get in touch with you directly? Make sure itâs set up and linked in your about information.
Link Set
You can have up to 5 links on your channel info, which will show on your about page and also on your channel banner. Think of a home page you would refer people to, maybe a Tumblr or blog? You can also include things like profile links (eg: Feabie, etc), crowd funding links, so on and so forth.
Settings
These power settings will go a long way for your channel, take the time to play with all of these or make a mental note to come back when you understand the channel better. Hereâs some places on your profile to check out:
The Cogwheel (See in above picture!)
Next to the main channel page subscribe button. Change channel privacy, customized channel layout, enable discussion tab and translation information.
Advanced settings
Set your country, main website, adverts and channel keywords here.
Link: https://www.youtube.com/advanced_settings
Community settings
Filter out words you donât like, edit highlighted comments, comment screening and such here.
Link: https://www.youtube.com/comment_management
Editing Checklist
So now your channel is all set up and looking like a pro, next step is to prepare for the content to match this.
Video editing software
Windows movie maker is a good base editing software to cut your teeth on. But if you have a bit more technical prowess, I recommend moving to something like Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas or Final Cut. Pair this with Photoshop for start and ending slides and your videos will start to look very slick.
Thumbnail template
Video Thumbnails add a bit more control over what people see before clicking into your video. You can do anything from a screenshot of an interesting part of your video, through to a designed screenshot with the video title overlaid. I like to have a cool photo from the video along with bold text displaying the title, this way people know exactly what theyâre going to be watching before clicking in.
Upload Defaults
This is all the information that will be set by default when uploading a video. By having this set up, you will save a lot of time setting up videos and cutting out repeated typing and button clicking. I recommend having a set of links to your sites, social media and online profiles in your description, this will help get followers on other networks. You have a lot of control here, even on if a video is public or private by default.
Link: https://www.youtube.com/upload_defaults
Creator Studio app
This is a good way to track your comments, stats and followers while away from YouTube. Think of it as a phone notification center for your videos!
Links: Android / iOS
YouTube Dashboard
Your control centre when youâre on your Desktop Computer, similar features as the Creator Studio app.
Link: https://www.youtube.com/dashboard
Starter Content
Setting up some starter content will make your channel look active. A ghost town of a channel will potentially prevent some people from coming back. Get this content ready to go, so theyâre hitting that subscribe button before leaving.
Channel intro
This is a one minute video that you can set to display to unsubscribed and new viewers on your channel. Use this video to say a few welcoming words and explain what your channel is all about. See my intro video below as an example.
Videos
Having some initial content is recommended to get those first subs. If youâre doing different types of videos, maybe do one of each to get you started? These videos will be crucial in setting the theme of your channel.
Playlists for content
This is where you want to sort your videos, so that future viewers can watch a category of your videos all in one place. An example could be Gain Progress videos, a playlist of these videos would house only those, so that people can filter out the other content. Playlists will keep your channel tidy and in order.
Thereâs a lot more to learn with setting up a YouTube channel, but with these tips, youâll have some of the hardest work out of the way, so that you can focus on making fun videos!

PiggyCaraâs Weight Gain Shake
By Piggy Cara on April 4th, 2016
Iâve been gaining purposely for 3.5 years now. Since 2013, I realized that there was no need for me to lose weight if I didnât want to - so at 256 lbs - I developed the desire to become bigger; the biggest of all of my town in New York City. I enjoy the stares and attention, I enjoy the jiggle of my belly and the satisfaction of being full after a big meal was the best feeling ever. I am now 396lbs, and I have one thing to thank for that - My homemade 72oz weight gain shake that I make 5 days a week and carry with me throughout the day and chug. Thatâs roughly 6 cups of weight gain shake in one bottle. Hereâs what you need.
Supplies:
Blender or Blender Bottle
72 oz bottle or two 32 oz bottles (a bit less shake than 72 oz, but
itâs more available than a 72 oz bottle.)
Ingredients:
Whole / Full Cream Milk
Heavy / Thickened Cream
Strawberries and Bananas (or your favorite fruit)
PB2 Peanut Butter Powder (optional)
Peanut Butter
Naturade Vanilla Weight Gain Shake
Chocolate Syrup (any kind)
Recipe (For 64-72 oz):
6-8 cups of Whole / Full Cream Milk
6 tbsp of Peanut Butter
4 tbsp of PB2 Peanut Butter Powder (optional)
2 Bananas
6 Strawberries
8 oz /Â 235 ml of Heavy / Thickened Cream
4 scoops of Naturade Vanilla Weight Gain Shake
½ cup of Chocolate Syrup
Blend all ingredients together, feel free to tweak it a bit and add extra milk or heavy cream.
This shake is approximately 12,000 calories and guaranteed to give you a nice steady gain. You should definitely start seeing results in a week!

Big Throbbinâ Bobberâs GBAFG (GET BIG AND FAT GOOD) Diet
By Big Throbbin Bobber on April 1st, 2016
Hey fat friends, I have a diet that has been really good for me getting super fat and I want to share with you all. First of all you need the following things per day:
5 Heavy Creams
2 Litres of Olive Oil
1 Litre of Weight Gain mixture â The more proteins the better
2 Loaves of Bread
3 Litres of Coca Cola
64 Slices of American Cheese
2 Packs of Oreos
What you want to do is eat all of this each day of the week. Itâs a shitfest at first, but trust me you will get so fat so fast youâll be saying goodbye to your toes in a few weeks â trust me Iâm fat now â big and fat good.
I start the day by having 2 heavy creams and a litre of olive oil. This lines my gut with enough oil to give me the spittybum right off the bat. Listen, you need this so your body clears out the junk you consumed from the night before. Once you get an empty stomach and those calories consumed youâll be right as rain. Then I have a loaf of bread to absorb all of those fats.
âBread makes you fatâ â Scott Pilgrim
This is when Iâll nap for an hour so my belly absorbs the bread into it. When I wake up, I immediately have 1 Coca-Cola and 2 packs of oreos - boy will it give you the burples. Get all that bad air out so you can fill your gut with fatty goodness. After this is done, Iâll consume the weight gain mixture. At this point, you know youâre already going to be putting on some weight, but as I say âYou always go big gut or not at allâ.
At this point you want to keel over on the couch and rest for 3 hours. Let your body sleep off the bloating and give in to your gluttony. You might be thinking âShit, Iâm going to have food popping out my belly buttonâ and let me tell you, this is the best way to measure if youâre doing it right.
When I wake up, I find a good comfy chair to sit in and line my gut again with the rest of the heavy creams and olive oils. Keep pushing, youâll feel sick but itâs totally worth it! Now itâs time for the 64 Slices of American Cheese. If you have trouble, thatâs what the 2 other coca colas are for. Wash it down and keep going â force yourself to become the cheesebeast you know you want be.
Youâll know youâre done when your belly is sounding like that local noise punk band. Grab a blanket and some bin liners to sit on, because itâs going to be a long night. Youâll get used to it, though. Soon enough youâll be starting to look like Kirby but flesh color. You want to live like fat to become fat.
Thanks for reading, let me know how the GBAFG diet does ya and how fat youâre getting. Remember â GO BIG AND FAT GOOD OR NOT AT ALL.
This was an April Fools post, please do not take this seriously.
How to Correctly Support Your Favorite Webmodel
By Enplumpen on March 29th, 2016
Tumblr (and other networks) can be a boon for assisting your favorite Webmodels, but it can also be incredibly detrimental, depending on how you go about it. In this article we house Webmodels, Cam Girls and Sex Workers in our community all under the same umbrella. You donât have to give them money you may not have, but with these tips you can support them indirectly.
Donât post the modelâs work on your own blog - This is NOT supportive
Taking paid content from a model and posting it on your Tumblr is by no means going to contribute to their work. If anything, itâs going to devalue the work and effort theyâve made and cultivate a mindset of stealing.
It would be much like going to a McDonaldâs restaurant and going behind the counter to grab a Big Mac and Fries without paying to encourage others in the restaurant to buy some. Itâs a dumb logic when you think about it.
Donât reblog stolen content or content that isnât directly from the modelâs blog
Reiterating the last point, the only person youâre supporting is the person that stole that content originally. Follow the modelâs actual blog and reblog those posts they put out, itâs going to attract other fans to their blog and help spread the word of the work theyâre doing.
Donât remove their caption, disclaimer or links
These links are in place to direct people who do have money to buy their content to the places they can view or purchase it. Removing these links is like going to a shop and disabling their cash register. Itâs how they make their money and continue to improve on their content. Doing this is devaluing their work.
Do! Reblog and Retweet the posts you like
This gives your thumbs up of approval and also attracts people to their blog and in turn their website or digital marketplace. It gives you that content to put on your blog and shows you arenât a jerk about it.
Do! If you really want to support by posting content on your blog, just ask!
So maybe you run a blog that is all about promoting Webmodels, thatâs fine. The best way to go about this is to build relationships with the models in the community and ask them if they have content theyâre willing to provide in exchange for some words on what they provide and links to their content sources. Some models are more than happy to provide the same preview photos they use on their site or blogs if you ask nicely and prove youâre a good contributor to their revenue. If they say no, just reblog their content and add some kind words.
Webmodels have been servicing the community for as long as itâs been around, theyâre a backbone of what weâre into and always will be. In fact, Iâd go as far as saying they may even be a contributor to your own openness or self-acceptance of your preferences or kinks. The least we can give back to them is the ability for them to do their job without fear of revenue loss.

Ravenous Tip #3: Listen to your body when gaining. Sick of what youâre currently eating? Switch over to a different type of food. Move from that Savory meal to a Sweet snack and so on. You might find that the change of food will give your taste buds a second wind!
Reader Request: The Adipophilia Pride Flag
By Enplumpen on March 22nd, 2016
In our first reader request, weâve had a call for the âFeedism Flagâ. This is a flag Iâd seen around the place before, but never actually looked into it deeper.
Tumblr user âFatBoyDietâ put together a post about it last October noting about itâs origins:
âThe Adipophilia Pride Flag is a proposed fat fetishism flag created in 2011 for use by the associated fat fetish community. It is intended to describe the wide variety of different fetishes represented by the community, and is meant to represent fat fetishists of all genders and sexual orientations.â
Information sourced from GayFetishGoth.com
However, Wikipedia has a further crediting of the flag on the Fat Fetishism page as follows:
The most recent version of the Adipophilia flag, created by Kevin Seguin, also known as 'The Cosmopolitan'. This flag is more widely accepted by the community, as its colors encompass the many different facets of Fat Fetishism while honoring more classic fetish flag concepts.
What strikes me the most about it is the color use of the flag. Itâs very similar to Neapolitan Ice Cream colors as seen below.
Further expanding on my own personal interpretations of the flag, the heart combined with the ice cream colors hints at a love for food and of the affects it has on the human body. Whether this is true or not, itâs nice to see the flag act as an overarching pride flag for fetishism related to fat, rather than just Feedism or Fat Admiration.

Fleshing out the term: âFatsexualâ
By Enplumpen on March 20th, 2016
Over the past few years, I discovered that Iâm Asexual or more specifically Demisexual. Asexual meaning to lack the requirement for sex and the physical side of relationships. With myself being Demisexual, this is similar, but can extend into what Asexuality strays away from, but only when with a partner they have developed a deep trust and affection for. I donât have sex often and tend to avoid it because it doesnât turn my gears like it does for other people.
One thing I have noticed over the past year is how I do tend to get turned on by and even lust for Feedism activities. For me itâs more so the weight gain, eating and platonic Feedist friendships that really work for me. This is not to say I start getting off when I eat a donut, more so that I get a rush or a thrill out of it that makes me want to do more of it.
Leading onto this, a recent term thatâs popped up quite recently is the term âFatsexualâ. At this point, itâs very much a loose term for someone who derives sexual pleasure or attraction to different aspects of fatness. To further expand upon this one could say it covers the following:
A person who is only attracted to Fat People.
A person who finds pleasure in weight gain in themselves or others.
A person who finds pleasure in the shape, feel, weight and other attributes of fat people and their fatness.
A person who is fat and enjoys the physicality of being fat.
A person who finds pleasure in being around other Fatsexuals and any effects it may have on their own appetite and size.
Labeling myself a Fatsexual is not something Iâve started to own yet, mostly because itâs yet to take up ground within the community. More so, with a community full of unique and different terms, I donât want to come across as someone making up terms to devalue those more defined ones. However, in the mindset of thinking of this term becoming a future part of the Feedist vernacular, Iâd like to brainstorm a bit and potentially get some discussion happening.
So that being said, how would one define a Fatsexual relationship? This could be any of a combination of the above. For example, A girl dating another girl, one is enthralled by food and the feeling of fullness and the other is excited by seeing her partner gain weight and ensuring she is always surrounded by food. While this couple is either Lesbian or Bisexual, would it fit more as Fatromantic - Similar to Heteroromantic or Homoromantic? This only leads us to more questions on the term.
If this were to expand further to a matrix or spectrum, what other terms would there be to cover Sexuality or Romance? Would this extend into Feedist-fluidity for people who come and go between feeder and feedee or just fat? This is such a large topic, I donât think I could solve it myself. However, Iâm excited to see where the term goes and how itâs expanded upon.
