I don’t want perfect, I want honest.

Raven held back tears as she mentioned Alexander’s name. It had only been a couple months that they had been broken up but it still hurt like hell to hear his name. She bit down on her lip to stop the tears from coming. Raven had loved Alexander so much and he had left her behind.

It hurt to know that her brother had never mentioned her to Raven or anybody. Looking down for a moment she stayed silent before forcing a smile onto her face. She didn’t need to act all upset. She had grown used to the idea of her family not being around.

Raven took a deep long sigh and smiled. She grabbed a cd and put it in. The sounds of Lamb of God began playing. Raven liked to play her metal mix when she was feeling blue it always lifted her spirits. She turned and looked back at Tobes. "I hope you don't mind metal. I love playing metal when I need my spirits to be lifted."

Raven started mystified by how good Oktober was on a skateboard. Raven smiled and wished she knew how to skate like that.“Sure I just got to go get my car. Its an old bug my aunt gave me thats white that I painted bats and other cool stuff on. It is pretty old but still runs. I am really glad to have a car. My aunt gave it to me as a graduation gift. I will have to clean it a little bit so you can have room.”

Oktober followed Raven back to the bug and kicked her board back up. Climbing into the passenger side she relaxed back, not minding the mess. Raven wasn’t so bad. She couldn’t imagine why her brother would have just left her. Shrugging away the thought she looked back at Raven and smiled.

Raven smiled at the girl. Its good to have company. “I am glad I have a guest coming with me. I really dont trust myself around Jagger when he looks at me like he does. I have never noticed how handsome he was until I wasnt dating Alexander anymore. Its not so bad being single it just gets terribly lonely. And I can not wait around forever for him to change his mind. He dumped me. Doesn’t mean I can’t go out and be happy.”

“He’s harmless, really. Just…don’t look on his eyes.” She laughed, looking at Raven. Seeing her extend the gummy bats and hair clip she reached out at them curiously. Taking one gummy bat she popped it into her mouth and chewed it up before smiling again.

I am sorry this whole Alexander thing just shakes me up you know? And then Luna and I have never got along because even before him and I broke up she has always been trying to get close to him and steal him. I try to be as civil as I can be with her. Jagger and I have gotten pretty close since he left. Hes even offered to turn me into a vampire. I am not quite sure what the best decision to make is.”

“Your family is entirely mortal, though, I guess? That is probably why my brother would not turn you. He doesn’t wish to take you away from your family or any other friends you have here. That or maybe he was afraid your parents wouldn’t accept you for what you had become.”

Raven smiled at the girl. Its good to have company. "I am glad I have a guest coming with me. I really dont trust myself around Jagger when he looks at me like he does. I have never noticed how handsome he was until I wasnt dating Alexander anymore. Its not so bad being single it just gets terribly lonely. Raven was so deep into her writing and drawing that it scared her when she felt her shoulder being tapped. She turned around and saw someone she had never seen before. Well she looked her maybe they could be friends. Raven paused and tried to think of how to reply to her. She was always one to choose her words carefully.

Oktober was already counting out the smart remarks she could make back towards this girl but something she said hitched in her mind. Her ex’s grandmother’s tomb. Glancing down at the gravemarker she circled around it once before looking down at Raven again.

"I am Raven. I just graduated from dullsville high not too long ago and was engaged to be married until he left me. He said something about joining his family in Romania or something and I havent seen him since. Its been dreadfully lonely and I keep wondering what I did wrong or if he is really off with Luna or something. I am angry that he left me all alone like this. Almost lonely enough to befriend Trevor."Raven let out a laugh. Of course she had no idea whom Trevor was but the thought was laughable to her inside joke wise.

Her other hand playing with a strand of her hair. It was terribly lonely being single and having no friends other then Becky. But Becky was always consumed in Matt.

Seeing somebody perched up by her grandmother’s monument made Oktober’s blood boil. She had not attended Dullsville High but she knew the kids liked to do stupid dares. Nobody ever visited that side of the hill because the only real stone up there was that of her grandmother’s. Creeping up behind Raven silently she saw that she was only writing in a book.

Raven was so deep into her writing and drawing that it scared her when she felt her shoulder being tapped. She turned around and saw someone she had never seen before. Well she looked her maybe they could be friends. Raven paused and tried to think of how to reply to her. She was always one to choose her words carefully.

You’re so calm and quiet, you never say. But there are things inside you. I see them sometimes, hiding in your eyes.
