i'm writing my own fic on ao3 rn and i've been attempting to do a bit of coding. ive gotten the basic layout of the messages and the background, but i've been really struggling on trying to get them on a phone shape as well as making the messages scrollable. would u be able to help??? no worries if not!!

if you want to use Now Playing as a base, you can right click on a browser and click inspect element. in the ‘sources’ tab you can see all the css used in the workskin, and then if you scroll further you’ll be able to see how that works with the html and putting the messages in.

all the phone-related code is the #workskin .im- stuff (.sp- is the spotify playlist for anyone reading this who wants that code)

the phone screen part is specifically #workskin .im-phone , and the scrolling part is #workskin .im-messages

if you want to dm me i can probably explain it better there and i don’t mind sending the whole workskin and explaining how it works with the html (feel free to ask again on here anon if that’s easier too)
