Doctor kind of just looks at his agent and forms a hypothesis that, with all kinds of things Stone is capable of doing and tolerating(maintaining his calmness and a somewhat good mood after being around Robotnik for a long period of time included), he simply cannot be human. Doctor doesn't know what he is, but he doesn't doubt his theory.

In fact, being a man of science that he is, Robotnik goes on to scientifically prove it(to which Stone, the ever loyal agent, agrees to), quite literally putting the man under a microscope, just to find out that.. he is, in fact, a human.

Now, he's certainly disappointed — finding a sentient alien of sorts would have been thrilling — but mostly just appalled. So he all but inspects Stone, thoroughly, to find out if there's anything extraordinary about the man's body or brain. He's almost offended to see that, despite being just a few screws loose in the head, Stone is a completely ordinary, imperfect human. There's absolutely no reason for him to be able — or willing to — go through everything he'd been through, and yet here he is.

Little do they know, that a alien race is already on the way to yoink their ass from the planet.

Human B, who was also abducted by aliens to be studied: I miss my family and my home, don't you?

A, staring straight ahead of themselves: I already lost my family once. I didn't know I'd lose my home twice.

B: ..uhh, huh?

Do you guys think the only reason he was up and alright after that was because Robotnik used the Emerald's power to make absolutely sure Stone would be okay? I mean, he was essentially granted god powers at this point, i think he could.

Now, another question: do you guys think the Emerald's power has to do something with the fact that Stone was alright after the crash of the robot?

Okay, he was unconscious, so his body was relaxed at the moment of crash, which, as i heard, could save from some impact from collision in car crashes. Also, let's take into account the matter of luck — Stone, unlike Robotnik, could have been not buried under the metal debris. By pure chance, utter luck. And still — Stone fell from the same height (which is, as i found, was approximately 2000 ft), could have hit his head again, broken his neck or spine, his legs or arms. But no, he was fine. Able to walk and steal the uniform of a GUN agent on duty and all but carry Robotnik to get him some medical help. Because Robotnik, unlike Stone, would certainly die without it.

This is was got me thinking — what if Robotnik, while he still had the Emerald, not only wished for Stone's head injury to be as minor as possible, but also for agent to be okay until the fight is over? He could.

Robotnik knows about it because of course he does and has no strong feelings about it. If anything he might even find it funny how people would look at his completely normal and professional relationship with his loyal assistant-bodyguard-sycophant and immediately think of that. Truly, why would any of those imbeciles assume this- wdym typically people don't grab their employees by the inside of their mouth? 👁️👁️

Stone, on the contrary, remained oblivious to these rumors for a long time, and when did find out he didn't particularly mind that. However, he watched Robotnik very closely to see if he was in any way uncomfortable with that all, just to come to the conclusion that he might even not know. Everyone they met was smart enough to not mention these rumors in doctor's presence and Rob didn't acknowledge their existence around Stone either, so he assumed that they didn't reach Rob's ears.

It's lowkey a popular headcanon that Stone likes his nails painted, and I totally agree with this one, but i want to add that i think he would enjoy wearing rings and earrings of all forms and sizes too. However, i think that he wouldn't get to wear all of those as much as he'd like to because a) he's working as a bodyguard of a professional ragebaiter, and if things escalate quickly it can be uncomfortable/dangerous to fight with jewellery on; b) bro is a secret agent, he definitely was taught to not wear things that will make him stand out of the crowd, and jewelry/painted nails on a man is something people will remember.

I like to imagine that Robotnik is entirely unbothered about gender as a social construct, and so if he sets his mind on doing something, and it's considered not manly enough or straight up feminine, the expectations of society will be the furthest thing on his mind, and they certainly won't stop him. And so i think Ivo Robotnik would love dresses: specifically those absurdly bulky and fluffy ones, to the point that it's impossible to get closer than a meter to his face unless he leans in towards you. Naturally, wearing such dress would be impossible without supporting construction underneath(i believe that its called pannier, but i might be wrong), and once he tried corsets he knew he'd look good wearing those and he was right.

As to jewelry on Robotnik: this man has to be a magpie. Rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets on hands and legs, various hair accessories — he will greedily take everything. I bet he knows how to combine his accessories with the outfit, and he certainly has some taste, so he won't wear everything he has on one day. But if he wanted to he could go a full year or longer wearing a few pieces of jewellery every day, and you won't see him wearing the same piece twice — that's how massive his collection is.

Returning to Stone: I don't think he'd like to wear any skirts or dresses bc he just prefers pants and shirts more, but I think that he knows how to walk on high heels. It is also very important for me to think that Robotnik, on the contrary, has no idea how to even stand on them and he is sulking about this fact. Just imagine how funny it would be if someday Rob dares Stone to wear stilettos to some event and he goes and starts aura farming as soon as they're on his feet. Even funnier if after that he just refuses to give a straight forward answer as to when, where and how the fuck, Stone did he learn to walk on those.
