So Clip Studio Paint was half off (it may still be, I’ve not checked) so I purchased it. This is my first test run of the program and so far it is (to me) a very user friendly interface, definitely friendlier than, say, Photoshop. The ability to fix your lineart after is a lifesaver for someone with terrible digital lineart skills. The layers thing is new to me, it ruins the flow a little for me, but it works great so there’s no complaints there. I have a lot to learn with this new program, but it’s definitely a quality program to pick up for a variety of different artistic uses. Plus, you can download assets on their website.

Updated pallet. I feel as though it rather goes against the colorful aesthetic of a phoenix, but given Hex is more of a doomsday engine the ash white and black may be more fitting.
